Yes let's make it work for Canadians. Since this is the country we live in. How nice to look at the Canadians, that are falling on their faces, and the Liberals didn't give a flying F. The Liberals have never been said to be too fast on any level.

I live in the US and there’s a nice Indian man that I’m friends with, he has a visa, works, and is overall a nice guy! Well his visa is about to end and he has to leave, but there are currently Haitian asylum seekers here who contribute nothing to our society and they are demanding driver licenses. The system is so unfair it’s crazy.

Why is the man giving him such abuse when he’s at work just doing his job that’s not nice

It's all about genetics. If you are short, ugly and physically weak (vast majority of Indian men), racism will automatically follow you. Improve your genetics, Indian people. Arranged marriages have destroyed your genetics where a person that looks like a donkey and just as smart can find a partner via an arranged marriage and reproduce their bad genes. In my country, for a man to find a partner, we have to go to the gym, we have to physically look good, learn to defend ourselves, educate ourselves, get high paying jobs etc to find a partner. An Engineering degree won't automatically get us a partner here, we have to look good and fight for the women's love. Ugly, short, weak men who can't defend themselves, they don't get to find a partner and they die off and their weak genes die off with them. Sometimes if they are ugly and weak but super rich they will find a wife but that's a rare case. Indians haven't kept up with world standard genetics of strength, height, looks, physical ability. They have always relied on Maths and Science degrees and overseas high paying jobs to find a partner and be respected. Guess what, my neighbor is 6 foot 2 inches in height, he goes to the gym, works hardand when he walks down the street, everyone respects him and talks nicely to him and he doesn't need an Engineering degree to get that respect. He works in a factory but the world respects him because of good genetics and he can beat you up if you say anything to him. It's his good genetics that get's him respect. I have ugly, short and weak Indian friends and they get racial attacks all the time. I also have good looking, tall and strongly built Indian friends and they don't experience racism. It's all in your genetics. So stop reproducing weak genes and let them die off and in 50 - 70 years, Indian genetics will improve with tall, strong good looking men and women and your desirability overseas will improve meaning you could go anywhere in the world and be respected, you wouldn't have to do Engineering and Math based courses to balance off bad genetics or to get respect etc. You would be able to get service based jobs with little education with good genetics, like Realestate Agent, Management, Customer Service roles, Business roles etc. Not just stuck in a computer lab crunching numbers like most Indian men going overseas do now.

Your life depends on those people.\n\nAs an expat who lives 3.5 years in Germany, I still don't have an German bank account which is not online. Basically, they don't open the account or giving an appointment to over 1 months or etc. \n\nBut this bureaucracy is for all. Germans also have the same issue.\n\nHousing is also an issue. I tried to apply the same places by my name and a German name. It was possible to get an appointment by a German name :) \nBut I do understand them that they find Germans of course more trustworthy.\n\nCulture:\nI don't think many people are racist here. I even live in Mecklenburg Vorpommern. They were mostly nice to me. However, the city you live change a lot. Hamburg is one of the best city about welcoming expats. People are nice and kind. Never had an issue here.

Why some skilled immigrants are leaving germany? I have many friends who did that- IT, finances, etc. 1. Very high taxes and thus net salaries comparable to Eastern Europe. A senior dev in Bulgaria gets 2000-3000 NET. After taxes in Germany, well, he will get a little less. 2. Cost of living in Germany is much higher- rents, energy(because of green policies and taxes), services(because of costly labor), etc. \nImagine a budget of 1000-1500 eur to give you a nice apartment(400-500), bills, food and bars/restaurants 1-2 times per week. With a net salary of 2500 eur(average for qualified jobs in the capital) you can save 1000 eur or more with ease. With almost no illegals security, standard of living, etc is close to german. That is why qualified bulgarians do not go to Germany anymore. Same comparison can be done with all other EU contries. \nBecause of socialist policies for equal payment, high taxes, etc even germans leave Germany. What was the number? I think I saw more than 100000 qualified germans leaving each year. But why stay? To be taxed so that an engineer gets 1.5-2 times the janitor? With german social security unemployed get more than many working people. Rent covered, money for food and more and social payments leave you with more than the one working for twice your income because he pays rent, bills, etc.\nThere was an article I think in DW years ago about unemployed young people working for 2 years paid by gov and leaving the job market forever. That is really sad, though this kind of social degradation is not a privilege of Canada. I am from Southern Brazil, used to spend up to two months in Canada from time to time - more specifically in Montreal -, working in flight simulators at CAE, as a contractor. It used to be so pleasant (until 2018). People were very nice in all positions (hotels / airports / CAE / restaurants etc). #WishYouAllTheBest

They really have to lock up the drugs and send people to live up in the woods and farms so that they can learn to care for vegetables and fruits and stop relying on the system to support their weaknesses for those drugs that wont take the place of reconnecting with their true selves without!.. Its much nicer to enjoy life with a nice meal and a glass of red wine after a day of working out in nature. Cities like Vancouver are not the place to be when you're broke, they keep you broke. You have to produce to be able to sell things and make money but the rents are so expensive that you wont have any time for that, you'll be working full time just to make ends meet. The average salary for a farm worker is $18.47 and the rent is cheap!

Best wishes for your move from Canada. Canada is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. However, Canada is largely unaffordable. America is unaffordable. Many in the working and middle classes are leaving. The cost of a home in nice communities in America averages over 1M Dollars. Tiny, old, fixer-upper homes in America average around $500,000 or more. The average rent for a very small apartment is over $1,500. Rents for apartments in upscale neighborhoods average around $3,500-$7,500 a month. Increasing cost of living in America is a problem. Some working people making average pay are living in their vehicles. Others making well over $100,000/year are leaving because they will not overspend on housing. People are moving to Mexico, Panama, South America, France, Portugal, Spain, Eastern Europe, Greece, Asia, etc. for affordable cost of living.

I agree with you leaving. I am a 3rd generation retired Canadian who used to be proud to be so. Now I am not, in fact I am embarrassed to say I am Canadian as it is nothing to be proud of. I think of how good things were in the 70's and 80's while I was young and now how bad things are today and it is truly depressing. Back then if you are willing to work, you could make a decent living, buy a car, a house and raise a family - today, good luck with that. The people in the west have had no say in the faulty governments we have had as Ontario and Quebec have put the final nails in our coffin when they elected that buffoon JT for a third consecutive term and then the NDP kisses his butt to join up and torture us more when most sane Canadians did not ask for this. JT is truly an embarrassment for this country although the US is in step with comatose Joe. I feel sorry for the kids and many others that are trying to survive, make a living and buy houses. Reverse discrimination has been at play for 20 years or so but is really out of control these days when a white Canadian kid that has got 5 yr honours degree in University has trouble finding a job today because you are the wrong colour. Our national anthem was changed a number of years back for no good reason. Immigrants are being imported by this idiot called our PM and handed out living accommodations, jobs and our hard earned $$ that he stole from us while our own people fall deeper into the quagmire. Many of these immigrants are bringing their hatreds and views with them to are country and are causing chaos. We are heavily taxed for driving our cars and heating our houses on FALSE pretenses with the govt saying it is to save the world - nice try - BS. The government and schools are pushing the alphabet children protocol per the WEF. These are just a few things that are wrong with this country that is sinking quicker than the Titanic. Wherever you go, there you are, I have family in Bolivia. I have family in Vietnam I have family in canada.I do not look at any single place as a singular home anymore. To fit the cliche, I am of retirement age but not retired. I work wherever I go and whatever way I can. Yeah, and my son in Vietnam has things going On he teaches and he works and he studies. So these comments about Canada are nice to hear and the negativity about politics and people's Denial of climate CHANGE. (One comment in particular,) I find hard to stomach. You know it depends on what side of the coin you are looking at, it is your choice.

Canada is insane, over the past 3 years i have seen the housing market triple in my area. Crime has exploded and so too has the cost of basic goods and services. I am in the top 10% of income earners in this country and I have been priced out of the housing market indefinitely. I work in stem and i am lucky that i can afford a 1 bedroom apt. When i was a child my parents worked simple blue collar jobs and made average to below average pay. They had a nice modest home. Now even crack shacks are beyond my ability. How the fuck does the bottom 40% of Canadians survive?

Grew up in Toronto, worked in HK for a couple decades and now back in Toronto. I've never felt this unsafe especially downtown, ever. I feel more unsafe downtown now than when I was growing up in Rexdale. And it's not just the pot smell blowing into restaurants when you just wanna have a nice meal with family, it's the damn noise. So many Canadians in the same situation — perhaps use your Canadian passport ? so many better places for you to be… find a nice job across the border in the US — it’s so easy to get a TN work Visa, or work tax free in the UAE, or build a nice career in Singapore. I had the same problem with Australia — it’s my home, and my heart will always fondly call it home forever. Australia is a big country with small job market, generally ignorant (but nice) people and limited economic diversity. One gets proper civic amenities only in either Melbourne or Sydney e.g., top notch medical care, a wide variety of groceries etc. Taxation is very high and although some people will tell you “we are well taken care of…” that is not true nowadays. The Australian Government’s policies over the last 40 years destroyed manufacturing, the economy, working conditions and inflated the property market. A reasonable 2-bedroom apartment in a Sydney suburb could cost you Au$2000-3000 in rent or Au$500,000+ to buy — and that goes higher as you get closer to downtown Sydney. The problem is that incomes are not high enough in Australia and housing quality is less than average overall for these ridiculous prices. Food, tolls and petrol cost a lot, although Sydney and Melbourne’s fresh food markets give you better prices than you’ll find in most other cities. My wife and I had a combined income of over Au$300,000/year while we lived there. We finally left Australia and moved to the US because even with our relatively high income we could only have an average house for around Au$1.8 million, we couldn’t fill up the tub and have a proper bath because of water restrictions, our kids would get an average schooling and their only dream in life would be to one day own a house. We didn’t want to live like that, so we wrapped up and left for good. The US is much better for skilled people — I don’t mean plumbers, tilers, roofers or landscapers, although life is good for them too. I’m sure someone will reply to this comment about the gun violence in the US. All I can say is that in the US we have the option to defend ourselves whereas in Australia we are expected to quietly die if someone kicks us in the head, stabs us or shoots us. Quality of life is good here in the US for me and my family. Fly free, mate!

Hi! I'm an American with the 'dream' of immigrating to Canada for many years. Got permanent residency and am working in Montreal for the summer to try it out and.... really shocked about the high taxes vs. the quality of the roads for example :/ What social benefits are Canadians really getting? Although the pace of life and culture is nice, it is hard to make less money here as a teacher than I could be in the US, and with some bullsh*t to put up with (pardon my language). And although I feel safe here, I can't believe how car thefts are so brazen and common. I might just become a seasonal visitor after all.

I moved to Munich from Warsaw 2 years ago. Munich is nice, safe and clean, but also a bit boring. The wages are high, but so are the rents and groceries (not mentioning services). Soo in my field of work Im not saving more money than back home (lower wages but also lower rents). And a huuuge downside here is - I will never be able to afford to buy real estate here. Back in Poland that's still accessible (even though less and less..). So all in all I think I will be moving back in a couple of years to settle down back in Poland, on my own piece of land, in my own house. Ideally, my german employer will allow my to still work for them, remotely. But if that's not the case, then I will look elsewhere.\nOne more thing - If the german gov. would subsidize langueage lessons, I would totally take advantage of that.. and maybe stayed here longer.

Can’t wait till we are just like South America going to be fun. All the crime, cleanliness law and order. Thank you to all the people who voted this way it’s going to be so much fun. Can people vote instead of not liking a person can you look at what they are trying to do. I would think closed borders would be #1 with anyone with a brain? Or just because you hate the way someone talks let’s destroy the country instead sounds like a plan sign me up can’t wait to be dodging these bullets soon. I think the only way to ever solve this is there are so many states. Can we just have some states for Republicans some states for Democrats you live the way you wanna live we live the way we want to live point blank. I’m 50 now when I was 20 I may have thought differently. I worked hard. I moved out of the Bronx to a nice neighborhood and it’s still nice but our corner of nice in New York is getting smaller and smaller. And I laughed when these people, even in these nice towns who vote not realizing the consequences.

I bealive new immigrants needs to adopt Canadian Values and way of living. They see Canadá as we are so nice and stupid, taking advantage of public services. When you immigrate to a country you are curios and open to learn a new culture you are leaving your country because there is things that you don’t like and you see your self with the same values of other culture. Once you are in Canada you are evolving and adapting to new ideas, and methods of living, most important you are here to contribute to society and the economy by taking care of your self by working hard upgrading your skills, help others follow the rules. Not the opposite you don’t move to be taken care off by taking advantage of government programs, if you honestly and truly need the government help the program is there for you if not you have a moral responsibility to contribute to this country/ planet.

But those moving to these aforementioned countries shouldn't be castigated and termed desperados. \n\nPeople migrate for different reasons, many in these countries especially in the gulf are there to build capacity so as to make moving to America, UK and Australia and other better European countries more affordable and assured and do so with a softer landing and so far it has worked and working out well for so many... As you know moving to America and Canada has not always been easy and affordable as it is with some of these countries and in reality the quality and cost of life and healthcare in many of these countries are not as bad as those in the west assumes. \n\n\nSo if you're in America, Canada or the better others, you shouldn't see others moving here as short sighted or desperate.,. Subbed for sure. It’s nice to see an unbiased opinion on this. Growing up on Canada it felt like a melting pot. My best friend was from India, but he was Canadian. After living in Brampton now for like 3 years, you can feel the change. Millions of low skill immigrants is just not an option.\n\nI have a high skill field and will probably move to the US for work in a few years because of the cost of living, housing, immigration crisis. Dude I like your videos. I don't wanna create hate but just giving my opinion. It is completely different then what you are sawing in video's. Canada is just same like other countries if you have enough skills you get a nice job infact they need skilled worker. And people are really good. In certain area there is hate not without reason. I won't go too far but look like you got sources from news which is 90% wrong and from person who depressed. I do agree certain areas are spoiled not like how it used be so if you came Canada with doing some ground work It is not bad.

Canada is also a place where being a criminal is far more honorable and beneficial to local communities. Because that illegal money flows into local economies. Not to mention their medieval justice system, you can be charged for crimes based on some random persons complaint even if they're wrong, basically depending on your demographic you can have the system weaponized against you. I have no problem with people coming from other countries to find a better life in Canada. Work ,pay your bills and stay out of trouble ,you should have a nice life . The problem comes from leaving a country where you were not happy and trying to bring that country to Canada. I am sorry you ae not happy in Canada, I encourage, you to move on.

Nice video. I hope govt starts accepting the fact that they have fucked up the situation. Its the govt who let so many of them in. Colleges introduced fake or low quality courses with no future and immigration office kept on accepting the visas. \nIf only they were vigilant enough to see what the courses were about. I was told that in many courses, students are just studying online and working for full time. Part was legal work and part was on cash. \nY was CRA not active about the cash activities going on around canada ? \nAnd now govr has again introduced this permanent visa on arrival for caregivers. Does govt think people are going to continue working in the caregiver field after getting there PR. Is govr going to keep a check on where the salaries are coming from in bank accounts of those who were given PR on arrival as caregivers ?\nThere are a lot of questions. Policies shouldnt be made on the basis of just trying to solve the recent problems, but rather with long sightedness to keep future similar problems at bay.

Instead of blaming these people, one must question their own government authorities who make the rules and legislation to facilitate this. Maybe it's just the truth of a desperate Canadian economy that needs immigrants to keep fueling the 'aging' Canadian economic engine. These people come in and work hard, odd jobs (not to mention the exceptional skilled ones as well like Doctors, health care workers etc.) which the regular Canadian wouldn't do. I've been in Canada for 2 years without a Family doctor. Thank God, the last 10 different Doctors I met were all fresh immigrants and came to my rescue. Ask your conscience, without these immigrants, you wouldn't be getting your late night coffee at the time Hortons drive thru, no one to take your blood works without you waiting several months in waiting, no ways for universities to subsidize tuition fees for the poorer Canadian students. If immigrants stop coming in, the nice detached home you live in will go down in value, the nice truck you drive will become more expensive, your kids University tuition fees will sky rocket, Canadian companies selling groceries, furniture, etc. Will have lesser revenue and eventually get eaten up be American giants, Canadian companies won't have cheap labour to build those much needed housing. \nNot only question your government, but also question your 'own' people.. Where are they to serve you? Where are the so called patriotic 'original' Canadian Doctors'? They are off to US to earn more money. U think they care enough for their home country?\n If Canada won't, somebody Else will accept these people. Hence get rid of ur ego and attitude, it's YOU that needs immigrants more than they need you ?? \nLastly, don't forget your ancestors too arrived here in ship loads from Europe as immigrants, taking away the land belonging to the native Indians who were slaughtered and today live as prisoners in reservation lands... on their own soil. We had a very nice family in our church whose work permit ended and it was very heart breaking for our church family to lose our friends, even after much prayer. That said, the Canadian government must be primarily concerned with the welfare of Canadian citizens not internationals.

We have pretty much very similar challenges in Australia. I would say living cost is even higher than Canada. But the good aspect is the weather. In Western Australia we enjoy over 300d Blue sunny skies and in Winter although rainy, we seldom get below freezing temperatures. So i don't need to worry about damaging my LFP batteries for my Offgrid solar system.\nAnother benefit is the bike path network in WA is extensive. You can pretty much get to anywhere on a bike, riding mostly on a very nice and safe bike path. I cover 60km every day travelling to/from work on my ebike. And it takes less than 1 hour for each trip.\nCrime rate has been getting worse though. It is fuel by drug use. So if people go out especially at night, you definitely need to be highly alert and watch your 6 o'clock. One can get attacked for no obvious reason and very commonly from behind. ???

i lived there as economic immigrant in Toronto for 4 years back in 2009 to 2013, i loved the city it was vibrant, beautiful, multicultural, people were nice polite, rent was ok , house prices were affordable, i loved every inch of this city, yonge and bloor, Dundas, Chester greektown, high park, north york , Yorkville with the fancy restaurants bars and houses, spadina mansions, harbourfront, were all my favorite places, i have so many beautiful memories in this city, i studied and worked there, but unfortunately i came back in 2015 then 2018 for few days, it was changing gradually to the worse more homeless, more crimes, more mentally sick people, very expensive housing rent food, am so sad fo rthis wonderful city

My perspective is a bit different…I grew up in Canada, I lived 4 years in Toronto, 1.5 years in Waterloo, 14 years in Ottawa and 3.5 years in Calgary…overall, just little over 23 years in Canada. I graduated from University of Waterloo and Masters from University of Ottawa. I have a strong educational foundation from Canada, which I am very proud of. I moved to Houston, TX in 2016 and my last 8 years of living in US has nothing but AMAZING!!! While living in Canada, i was never able to save any money. In my last 8 years of working and living in US, I am 90% done paying off my mortgage on a very nice 5800sq feet house in Sugarland, TX. I owe very nice 2024 Lexus and 2023 Mercedes SUV that I can only dream of in Canada…so Canada is good in so many thing (I do have a soft corner for Canada in my heart as I grew up there) but when it comes to opportunities and life style to its full potential…USA is way ahead of the game.

Miscarriage of justice. He should have been permitted to stay and raise his family. It was an accident but people want revenge. I don't feel that way. Indian people except for Jagmeet are in my estimation good people who work hard to better themselves. They are nice people who love Canadians except for Jagmeet. I think he deserves a second chance. He's not some useless bum. He works and raises a family and spent 8 years in jail. I think he's being deported because he brought embarrassment to the Liberals insane mass immigration policy.

Some of the stats cited here are straight up wrong or... creatively employed, and there's a lot of contradictory information and the typical conservative 'the sky is falling' sensationalism and misattribution. That said, the bas supposition isn't wrong. The bubble we've been sitting on for 20 or so years has completely burst. As someone born and raised in the Toronto area, it's impossible for me to afford to own a house or apartment here on a teacher's salary. Even rent pushes me to the limit unless I want to live in a... less than nice area. I'm living hand to mouth and enjoying the benefits of living in a 'developed' country less. Here's why:\n\n1. Wages aren't really even close to keeping up with the cost of living. The first tick upwards a bit. The second just keeps rising on the back of housing, food, amenities, and inflation: the four horsemen.\n\n2. Our grocery cabal ruthlessly raise prices whenever we look away, and their lobbyists are all ensconced within the leadership of our three major parties, particularly the Conservatives (so if anyone thinks that electing them will help, they're in for a nasty surprise).\n\n3. We're experiencing 'labour shrinkflation': increasing duties are downloaded onto workers and more is expected: more productivity, more availability (almost 24/7 in some jobs), and higher qualifications. Meanwhile, real wages are decreasing relative to living cost, more positions are 'contract', which is basically a way for employers to not have to give you benefits, and job security is tenuous for a lot of people.\n\n4. Houses are being bought by investors and not owners. Foreign entities are money laundering. The wealthy upper crust of high population countries are moving here and buying property because Canada is (still) more safe and stable and less repressive than their home countries in most cases. \n\n5. There's a cycle beginning: as people are squeezed and forced to spend more on 'needs', they spend less on eating out, entertainment, and other 'wants'. These are significant drivers of the service economy and they're being hit hard. So, what can they do? They can let go of workers or lower product costs to remain profitable, but they their quality declines and, in a market where people are pinching every penny and looking for quality for their dollar, they're less likely to go back. They can raise their prices, of course, but then they price people out completely and their profits still tank. I went to a decent steakhouse for my dad's 60th last week. I can't remember the last time that I went to one before that. \n\n6. Our politicians and news cycles focus on the most niche and irrelevant stuff because it'll stoke anger and get tongues wagging. This carbon thing is almost a non-issue, but our conservative leader is harping on about it like it's singlehandedly the death of the Canadian economy when it's a drop in the bucket. Trudeau focuses on 'equity' measures, hoping for a bit of cheap good press, while his efforts are, for the most part, just window dressing and the issues, while meaningful, are often not of paramount importance or even applicable to the vast majority of the people who elected him. Meanwhile, the middle class is pretty much evaporating as he speaks. The NDP keep talking about this in a pretty real way, for what it's worth, but Jagmeet Singh is giving off an increasing vibe of just being another fat cat politician beneath his rhetoric these days. Also, third-party trolls and screeching conservatives try to bury him on social media whenever he speaks... a lot more than other leaders as well, oddly. I wonder why? Oh yeah, the Greens exist and there's Quebec and the conspiracy theory party.\n\n\nUltimately, what we're experiencing is the revenge of the feudal system. Instead of paying rents to your lord and doing labour on the land for him whenever commanded to, you pay rent to your landlord now and go to work even when you're sick or when work hours are over because you have no union protection or are working 'on contract'. Unless we want to live in the armpit of nowhere, 95% of us are going to be wage slaves living hand-to-mouth, not owning our own property, and working to please our corporate overlords if current trends continue unchecked. While some of Canada's problems are unique, I fear that most aren't. As for me, I'm headed to the 'armpit of nowhere' where I can at least have a ghost of a chance of affording life.

We came to Canada 5 years ago, through Student Visa ( Masters) , wanted my kids to learn english too, the pandemic hit and borders closed. Plan was return. During pandemic we had to change our visa and got the PR and got good jobs,. Met great people and decided to stay because is nice for my children. What I have to say is: there is wayyy too many Indians, we didnt want to do any school work with them, we dont want to work with them, we dont want to live in their neighborhood. ( its weird to admit it), at this point, we dont want to go to Walmart, is just their irresponsible attitude everywhere , also descendents of India (2 and 3 generarion) that I met are shocked and upset with soo many and the elementary schools are packed full portables. There is no balance. Their culture will dominate in 100 years from now. This is how immigration works. The outcomes will be seen later and will change Canadian Culture forever.

Only thing that I would say that needs to be reviewed is the source @ 12:38 where you said 7% of the Canadian population leaves when in actuality it is ~ 0.7% to 1% which is an order of magnitude different that what was said. Brain drain is real but its not at a point where we are losing more than 1% of our population a year to the US just yet. Also people return after ~5 years when they do go but I'm curious if they will stop coming back in the coming years. Anyways, I'm looking forward to future work and you gained a subscribe from me!

I lived in Brampton. Right in Eldorado Park. I'm a white guy. All temp agencies were run by these people. I go in for a job. Soon as they seen i was white. They had no jobs available. Got a guy i knew who was Indian. He called right after me. They had plenty of work. \nBrampton also has the highest insurance rate in Ontario. Because of insurance fraud. All these people. When i was young 30 years ago. I went to visit. It was a nice place. No more now. Its the worst place in Ontario.
