We really need mass deportation in order to survive the current decline we’re in!! Liberal government needs to go in order for this to turn around!!

For _years_, thoughtful and well-meaning people have been showing the evidence that massive over-immigration was detrimental to Canada.
They were rewarded by being called r-ists and xenophobes.
Turns out that, actually, they were right.
Canada needs, right now, a 100% moratorium on all immigration for at least three years to allow infrastructure and health care to catch up. After that, a very slow and gradual increase to maximim 1% current population levels, with a strict focus on STEM and health care grads. Not their parents and grandparents and great aunts.
And if any of them breaks the Canadian criminal code, they are deported within 24 hours.

You can't have it both ways!!
First we were told to STOP having so many children...they said there are too many bodies on the earth, DEMANDED we reduce the number of course we're having.
Corporations who's companies depend on workers and an ever increasing profit share, are being gutted from within by greedy shareholders. These corporations have borrowed money based on past, present, real and IMAGINED INCOME...and that model collapses if there are not enough consumers to buy their products.
These corporations will go bankrupt and fall into ruin if we continue along with the current climate change model fear mongering about too many people.
The fact is Canada has NEVER had too many people. We run at a carbon DEFICIT compared to other nations with same population.
The world doesn't have a population problem - the middle East has a population problem, and since we share NO BOARDERS with any of these nations - NOT ONE OF THESE PEOPLE IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY.
DEPORT THEM ALL

Let’s be real here. This is just immigrant’s offspring getting mad at current immigrants! Well. Now you know how my ancestors felt, it’s a pity I won’t know this feeling.. but your children will know poverty because of this. XD. I can’t wait

I am a Legal Alien, and my whole life is in Canada and for Canada. Yes, I can go back to my home country anytime, but my home is Canada. My Family is Canadian, my dog is Canadian. But when I see these new people come over to my Canada, abuse and trash our Country, and take all the F.... jobs. I'm furious and angry. When will changes take place and when? This has to end. No more. End our current Government and make a new one that actually cares for us. Canada needs to stop sending money to other countries and put it towards us. Put kids into colleges for science and people who will take us to the moon, and put doctors EVERYWHERE in Canada. Build a country that is a leader in the world. It can be done. Why is our government destroying its people?

1. Almost 2.5 million Indians are currently living there. The total population is 41.6 million, so about 6% are Indians. The total number of Pakistanis is around 500K, and Bangladeshis about 100K.
2. Out of all these, an estimated 1.5 million people are either overstaying or have entered illegally.
3. Pakistanis and Bangladeshis are also involved in illegal activities (I’m not defending Indians—they are also involved, I’ll come to that). If you ask them, many will claim to be Indians. You can see the same trend in the UK as well. The reason I’m mentioning them is because they have a similar appearance to Indians.
4. Almost half of the Indians in Canada are living there illegally. Why do I say this? Because here in India I personally know many people from Punjab and Haryana who go there. In both states, you can easily find many agents who reassure people that they can send them to Canada or the USA without much difficulty. You can also see the trend among Punjabis—many aspire to drive trucks and cars in Canada. In India, people often see Punjabis as if their only purpose in life is to go to Canada. I love Punjabi people, but I don’t like this mindset.
5. So, the people you see doing disgusting things are most likely illegal immigrants. Why? Because genuine people go there to educate themselves and contribute something meaningful to the culture—not to behave like those individuals.
6. I really hope Canada can recover from this. I have a friend who went there in 2015, and he once told me to visit the country. Canadians are truly amazing, and the natural beauty (except the winter!) is so nice. Please, Canadian government, take some steps for the well-being of your people.❤

I think due to the prosperity and stability Canada has enjoyed for so long Canadians have developed a certain standard of living and expectations in regards to that. So no, we don't want to have to work 2-3 minimum wage paying jobs to get by, no we don't want to live 4 or more to a 400 sqft studio apartment, yes we want to be able to afford our own homes, yes we want to be able to achieve a stable middle class lifestyle. That doesn't work for the crony capitalists who's greed and lust for power always needs satiating. So we have the Liberal government bringing in more immigrants than we have infrastructure to accommodate in an effort to keep wages down so profits can always be up. Immigrants who are willing to accept a lower quality of life than what most Canadians expect/accustom to because it's still superior to where they came from. So the quality of life for all Canadians is exponentially reduced. We are to accept a lower quality of life and if we resist then we are branded with all kinds of derogatory names; racist, xenophobe, fascist, unacceptable fringe, far-right extremists, et al.
What's undeniable is that before the Liberals took power in 2015 we had an immigration system in Canada that worked quite well and that since the Liberals took power our immigration system is a destructive mess. This isn't by accident or incompetence, it's intentional, by design. Unfortunately Canada has a problem with so much of our population being ideologically blind, willingly ignorant, easily manipulated, cowardly staying in an abusive relation with our current oppressive government. Question is can the country be saved before too much damage is done?
|

The current " government" has no mandate to destroy our country and standard of living..every immigrant they let in is therefore illegal and need to be deported now

As many are currently finding out in the US, “temporary” means “temporary”, not “permanent”. Was this problem due to language translations, or what?
|
| 2025-06-23 | 0 |
Even skilled trade jobs are marketed to international students as a pathway to obtain permanent residency in Canada.
the Canadian immigration system currently faces issues with corruption. This environment creates opportunities for scams, prompting individuals to engage in various forms of fraud to gain extra points and secure invitations for permanent residency. On housing, seems that the government is attempting to inflate housing prices, as this strategy significantly boosts the economy by presenting favorable GDP figures on paper.

Lots of hating on J Trudeau here but Harper is the one that drastically expanded the temporary foreign worker programme. And he subsidized it so said workers only had to be paid 75% of minimum wage by the company hiring them while the gvmnt paid the rest. Companies literally pay less than min for tfws and the government pays the rest. That's why they are prioritized.
Harper did this. Trudeau made it worse. Pollivere would not have stopped it. The current government will only expand it.
Minor parties are being sidelined, bribed, or otherwise shit down across the political spectrum. NDP sold out long ago. Bloc don't care as long as the aliens pretend to speak French as much as they pretend to speak English.
There is no democratic solution.

Trudeau and Marc Miller, thank for them for this mess. Will Carney and the current Liberals fix this mess, absolutely not. Instead, Carney brings in Lena Diab who literally has no idea what she's doing.

so where are the current invaders coming from? who is behind it and why? Does Walmart need more customers and employees ? Do the police need more customers ? Does Chair mayor Chow need another excuse to raise taxes ? In the name of safety and the socialist/communist New World Order.

Maybe with a new, and NOT Liberal, government, family breadwinners can earn enough so that Canadians can affort to have the children that will make it not so necessary to import workers. It wouldn't be so bad if immigrants (not all - I know) didn't bring all their frustrations and anger from their home with them into our society. Currently immigration causes way too much friction and divisivness in Canada. They bring their problems with them They need to solve those issues in their home countries. We don't need those problems to be faught here in our peaceful country.
|

Make it expensive to import, and the businesses will have to operate in US, if not they have to forgo the American market. Now the issue is, is the current US companies able to fill the vacuums, and if the capitalism business owner willing to stay with Canadian, or they will redeploy part of their operation to USA, and sack Canadian workers? Will there be a race?

In the case of high treason, i.e. treason against the interests of the people of the country. Who came to power? A man who thinks not about the interests of the US people, but about the interests of a handful of billionaires, including political circles in Russia and China. The war against Ukraine is just the tip of the iceberg of the war of the ruling dictatorships of the Russian Federation and China against the poor strata of the people of their own countries, against Western civilization and the US and the EU as a part of it. This is clearly seen in the propaganda against human rights and freedoms in these countries, the destruction of trust between people. What to do in this case? Wait until the US as one of the foundations of modern civilization is destroyed by short-sighted supporters of anarchy, monarchies and psychopathic dictators who do not respect other people's borders and treaties? Doesn't Trump's actions contradict the basic principles of the US and Western civilization? The United States is a country of democracy, humanism, human rights and freedoms, a country that has become home to the world of many people who have improved the quality of life of billions of people all over the planet. Question: When will the current US President/poppet of dictatorships be impeached?

I’m embarrassed living in the country. Still proud to be in America, it’s just disgusting to see what is going on. All of us do not agree with this and many other terrible things that are going on. I stand with Canada. This current US administration is a disgrace.

The whole world watching each and everyone that how the excellent leadership that not only lead its country very well and also leads other countries with compassion, rational and pragmatic though, serious engagements for peace process to deal with conflicts, violence and war but the current leadership seems determined to push long established traditions of honesty, integrity, transparency, rationality, pragmatism and even common sense in deep crisis with unlimited stupidity, ignorance, violent leadership, rude language and flouting all long established rules of diplomacy thrown away overnight and ridiculing even global leaders who command great respect from international community and at the same time bluntly taking side with all dictators of the world and supporting, promoting, patronising violence, war, mass murder at the cost of priceless human lives! Horrible! The ghosts of Hitler return back in the largest democracies of the world!

Focusing too much on being anti-Trump is a strategic mistake for the Democrats. In order to win, you have to convince the average non-partisan person that you are seeking their best interest. Moral high grounding does not work. The current majority sentiment of the US population is that they want the government to prioritize the interest of the US first and foremost. Whether or not Trump is a bully to other countries when he tries to prioritize that interest is irrelevant to them.

Canada responding puts Canada in a worse position. \n Canada not helping in the fight against fentanyl is obviously false, that being said the mass Immigration policy of Justen trued has made it easy for cartels' to smuggle in narcotics, not only that but the immigrants cause waves of crime, rippling from generation to generation. which hurts Canadians quite a bit. Immigration from the US to Canada would not hurt Canadians as much as from all the third world countries that they currently have their immigration system setup to accept. \nCanada's official statistics for narcotics coming in cannot be trusted. there is the fact that when someone is caught with narcotics they don't actually get to bring in those drugs. \nCanada's border is also entirely bypassed by plane so it doesn't matter how strong they make their borders.\nthe best response to the tariffs would be to remove all those god awful restrictions put in place on Canadian enterprise.

Trump is definitely not a chess player… ahaha.\nHe's dismantling the U.S. in the long run, tearing apart 80 years of dominance.\nI feel sad for your country, sad for mine (France), and not exactly thrilled that he’s empowering China and Russia.\n\nWhat do you think will happen?\n\n- Europe strengthens its military.\n- Europe reindustrializes.\n- No country can rely on the U.S. anymore—whether it's poorer nations dependent on American aid or wealthy ones like those in Europe.\nThe outcome is clear: the U.S. is bleeding soft power. For about five years, it will appear stronger than ever. But once other countries adapt (which will take roughly five years), they’ll all tell the U.S. to *** off.\n\nNo more need for its military power. No more reliance on its natural resources. No more dependence on American industry.\n\nThe worst part? The world will shift its trust toward Europe, China and Russia. The U.S. will remain the richest and most powerful country, but it will no longer hold the monopoly it enjoys today. It is going to be heavily contested. Please enjoy the current situation. This is purely temporary.\n\nMark my words!

What makes Donald Trump think Canada would want any part of this shit storm current Trump‘s first term the Canadian immigration website crashed as people were trying to be out of here. Canada definitely has more sensible leadership why our country is led by a grifter who has turned a lot of sensible and educated Americans into zombies or should I say he’s like the big bully on the playground someone should’ve told Donald Trump that you get more flies with honey than vinegar

Much respect PM Trudeau. I’m an American with Canadian roots as my parents were born and raised in Alberta. Your message was spot on and I’m truly embarrassed and ashamed of our current leadership and the decisions they are making. I hope that someday they will come to their senses. In the meantime thank you for being a true statesman and leader in these difficult times.

He kept a cool head when DT described it as the 51st U.S. state, with the intention of annexing Canada.\n\nThe fact that he will leave his post as prime minister in a few days has allowed him to speak without complex and without restraint, but also influenced by the serious threat to the country and its economy. He leaves with his head held high with a speech that will go into history, it will be part of his legacy.\n\nThe comments are complimentary of Canada, and it is true that they are kind, caring and welcoming people. To be part of it for 40 years, I am currently impressed by the solidarity of the people who boycott American products in supermarkets. They do not do it to harm the Americans they appreciate (spend their holidays at home) but to punish DT for his arrogance and lies. Human stupidity has no nationality.

Except for Israel (thankfully), the current US administration is betraying, bullying and humiliating all its closest allies: Canada, the European Union, Mexico, the UK, Ukraine, etc. After the Oval Office ambush the world is realizing that the US can no longer be trusted as a friend or as a partner. This will have extremely damaging long lasting consequences…

I’m an American as well. And I’m with Canada 10000% we the people in the US (most of us) stand with y’all. What the current administration is doing with this country is truly shameful. And I as an American apologize in behalf of our government. May god bless all of us.

Canada already had tariffs on certain U.S. goods before the recent trade disputes escalated in 2025. Historically, Canada has maintained tariffs on various American products to protect its domestic industries, particularly in sectors like agriculture and manufacturing. For example, under the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (USMCA), which replaced NAFTA and was signed during Donald Trump’s first term, trade between the U.S. and Canada is largely tariff-free for many goods. However, Canada has long imposed high tariffs on specific U.S. products outside of these agreements, such as dairy, poultry, and eggs, under its supply management system. These tariffs can reach up to 270% on milk, 245% on cheese, and nearly 300% on butter, designed to shield Canadian producers from foreign competition.\n\nAdditionally, Canada has applied tariffs on other U.S. goods over the years, often in response to trade disputes or to balance economic interests. For instance, before the latest round of tariffs in 2025, Canada had tariffs on thousands of product categories, though the exact scope and rates varied depending on the goods and trade agreements in place. Posts found on X also highlight sentiment that Canada has had tariffs on U.S. products like dairy and cars for decades, with some claiming rates as high as 25% on U.S. vehicles—though this may reflect specific cases rather than a blanket policy.\n\nIn contrast, the U.S. generally did not impose broad tariffs on Canadian goods until recent actions under President Trump, who introduced a 25% tariff on Canadian imports effective March 4, 2025, prompting Canada to retaliate with reciprocal 25% tariffs on CA$155 billion of U.S. goods. This retaliation built on Canada’s existing tariff framework but escalated the scale significantly. So, while Canada did have tariffs on U.S. goods beforehand, the current trade war has intensified the situation far beyond the pre-existing measures

Bravo Justin Trudeau! Thank you for speaking out and telling the truth. Eloquent speech. I regret that our current president is turning against our longtime ally that has always stood bt our side and fought with us. This is a very sad day for America. Your speech was unfortunately cut you off when you started to speak in French. J' aurais préfereé écouter le discours en français. J'adore le Canada. J'ai peur que nous soyons en train de perdre la liberté de nos citoyons! ??

Wish we had a President like this in the USA, instead of the traitorous puppet currently installed.

The USA will gladly stand aside and let Canada take over funding the Ukraine war. US citizens have currently taken on a tax burden around $1000/tax payer. Get ready to tighten your belt Justin.

Not surprised at the amount of treasonous morons in this comment section, siding with foreign leaders that have been ripping us off for decades. Canada already imposes tariffs on US products, now they are adding additional taxes, when all they had to do is lower (better yet, eliminate) their current ones. I guess progressives like being taxed to hell.

The US is isolating itself from the world. It is indeed the strongest and the richest country. But the decisions, the current admin has made will damage the United States. Specifically the people of the estates with or without knowing, they will pay for the cost caused by the wrong decision made by MAGA. This is really sad to see how they divide themselves and the world. Only a few of idiots has gotten so much power to harm normal people who are only interested in living a peace and happy life with loved ones or their own family but now their suffer just started.

To CNN - get the quote correct, Prime Minister Trudeau quoted the Wall Street Journal. Reflect that in your headline!!\n\nIn terms of this video, I do love watching a true leader speak. \n\nThe Prime Minister is the very opposite of the bloated excuses for human beings - the current president and vice president of the USA, oh and their oligarchs who are equally vile.

Is there anyway Trudeau can run for the presidency in the USA? We need help from an articulate, thoughtful thinking person as opposed to our current leader who blames everything on the Biden adminstration and names scapegoats for his own failings. Trudeau is hoping Donny will change....not in the cards!

This channel is notoriously known to praise the USA in every single sense. It’s kind of ridiculous actually. Talking about debt above GDP as an issue? Hello.. ?? I’ll wait for an upstate on the free falling economy of the USA which is currently taking place; I doubt it’s gonna happen though

Shame they didn't care about fentanyl when it was killing people off in BC for years before spreading, thousands of people had died. Shame they didn't do anything about the corrupt government that enabled it and the money laundering. Hard to believe they care when so little effort or attention was shown to get the BC government at the time to be accountable. It doesn't help that with our current justice system it's practically a revolving door unless you're screwing over some established monopoly, people who cause real harm are out on the streets in no time. People who accept bribes and allowed the deterioration to occur will never be dealt with and I don't see steps going on to prevent it from happening again. People with the money run the govt and screw us over.

At this present time and in this current governmental climate, I do believe that changing a leader now would hurt Canada. Trudeau has first hand experience and has dealt with Trump and his tantrums, this isn’t Trudeau’s first rodeo. I am concerned with Trump antics another leader could be influenced with charm and falsehoods which Trudeau has already confidently stood up against.\nAnd for a moment, let’s think a little bit further out of the box. This isn’t about fentanyl as Prime minster Trudeau pointed out. This is about making life for Canadians extremely difficult and chaotic. It’s to bring division between the United States and Canada, and with Trump joking and jokes are not jokes sometimes they become reality Canada being a 51st state. Trump Being friends with Putin, with Russian ships in our Arctic Ocean think on this for a minute. Putin decided to invade Ukraine to expand his make believe empire. President Trump and Vladimir Putin working together. Hasn’t Trump said he wants Canada to be part of the USA and wants our Prime Minister to be a governor how insulting. How very insulting to the Canadian people who not just live in Canada, but are also united Canadians.

wow... that's ballsy and rhymed. See... this is a leader i can stand with. Thank you for this. But honestly, this feels like a bad breakup.\n\nI don't know what the hell Donald is doing. Current US Administration is alienating its friends and allies. I wonder what the end goal is.

Im sorry Mr Trudeau, im sorry Canadian people. This American voted against this madness, and I do not support this ally of the evil of the world that is currently occupying the white House. This executive branch of the US government, along with the propaganda machine are fueling the supporters of this nonsense and they may not be able to determine the trauma that decisions like these tariffs, like putting down a great leader of a sovereign nation that was attacked by an aggressive country like Russia. This is going to do nothing but hurt people on every side.
