If Ukraine falls to Russia, Trump loses the minerals, If Europe can stave off a Ukrainian defeat, Trump loses the minerals. Canada has threatened to use its mineral wealth in the upcoming trade war and Trump loses the minerals.\nTo America's shame it has the wealth to trade for these minerals without resorting to threats and belligerence.

From Europe: Europeans strongly support Canada. Having visited Canada several times, I can fully attest to its natural beauty. The remarkable unity demonstrated by Canadians across the political spectrum in their opposition to the current U.S. administration is really inspiring. Is there no one at CNN who can translate French? Really? I'm American, and I'm hoping Trudeau announces that he's making trade deals with Europe (and even China) that cut us out. Betraying our allies should never be incentvised. I'm even hoping they cut off our oil, which WILL jack gas prices, since our refineries in the Midwest are only deisgned to process Canadian crude. And the truth is that the reason for the tariffs is that Trump has direct control over them, and can probably have Elon do something with the revenue that couldn't be done with normal taxes. well there is trade with Africa, Asia, Europe, South America and Mexico that could bypass it all. If USA were not busy being Israel's poodle and guard-dog trying to make an American empire all over the world, much of it to serve Israel, then they could deploy their troops all over the border with their ridiculously large amount of law enforcement agencies and personnel (ICE, FBI, ATF, State Troopers etc) and stop all drugs and criminal gangs flooding in.

Canada needs to get all new trading partners, they need to look to Europe, Asia, and other countries. There are other markets out there, especially in the EU, where they are no longer getting energy from Russia. If Canada shows any weakness Trump will hit Canada even harder, the only why Canada stays strong and comes out ahead, is to be strong. Canada will suffer for a while, but with new trade partners, Canada will be much better off.

I guess starting a trade war with America is preferred over securing the bloody border. All because that pipsqueak Trudeau and his party are desperate to gain credibility before they're annihilated in the next election. Justin Trudeau's border plan of 1.3 billion over six to ten years is a joke! Tariffs on America after several US administrations tried to work with Canadian governments to stop provocations in trade, border security, immigration, and many other issues, only to fall on deaf ears or passive responses, not to mention Trudeau's derogatory comments about Trump being a racist. At the same time, Trudeau was caught having a history of wearing racist blackface. Not wise! \n\nFor some odd reason, Trudeau thought it was also wise to mock the American President, Donald Trump, with other European leaders while attending a meeting in the UK at Buckingham Palace, which clearly invited bad blood between the two. Not to mention his missteps while traveling in Europe and meeting with Kamala. He also increasingly chose to snuggle up to China. However, America has provided Canada with favorable trading relations and high-cost subsidies in the form of military and territorial security for decades. That clearly was a slap in the face and wasn't very smart! You had to figure some American president would ultimately say enough!\n\nAmerica has supported, defended, and offset the national defense costs of European nations for over seventy years, while EU countries and their leaders have routinely mocked and ridiculed Americans. Is it really classy to slap the face of someone who protects and supports you and your quality of life? No, it's not! Tariffs on EU products are likely coming soon, and reduced defensive support for Europe means they will have to pay more taxes for their defense and goods.

For the vast majority of Americans, including Trump who don't know this: \n- 90% of all aluminum used in the USA comes from Canada. \n- 80% of the potash used to grow food on US farms comes from Canada. \n- Steel is made in Canada. - Uranium is exported from Canada. \n- Minerals needed for electronics are exported from Canada. The only alternatives are China and Russia. \n- 60% of all imported oil in the US comes from Canada. \n- Electricity produced in Canada is delivered to the states of New York, Vermont, Maine and over 20 other US states. We’ll soon find out if convicted felon Trump and his supporters need Canada when that electricity gets turned off. If Trump can rip our mutually-negotiated agreements so can Canada. We did not ask for this economic war nor did we start it. Trump did. \n \nIt's also time to super-tax every pound of US coal being exported through Roberts Bank Super-port in Delta, British Columbia, Canada. The American coal exported through Roberts Bank does not even pay a provincial carbon tax like all BC residents pay. Canadians are about to show Trump what happens when you consistently lie and stab your best customer and neighbour in the back. We are not afraid of Trump. Canada is the second-largest country in the world by land area and we have the longest coastline in the world, with over 243,000 kilometers of shoreline. We will continue expanding our trade with Pacific Rim countries, Europe, Mexico and beyond. They all need and want our lumber, minerals, oil and gas, grass fed beef, and the dependable, respectful trading partner that we are.

To the good people of Europe, the message is clearer than ever. Under this president the USA is no longer a reliable or rational player in international trade. Trade with reliable and rational countries and leaders. Canada is still your ally and friend.

Fun fact: Columbia is where we get a major chunk of our coffee from, so now our coffee, our fuel for working Americans will get more expensive if this is a prolonged tariff! Talking about my trade, aviation., it is really huge in germany, but..with 50% tax on your income..and the german security clearance which is absolute bureaucratic nightmare to get..and it's only one among Others..i gave up .., going to more straight forwards neighboring countries...\nTalking about German people.. there are the one in Europe i enjoyed the most working with.. because they have the best compromise between discipline, ethics, and laid-back Attitude..\nPeople commenting, complaining about lack of English speakers in administration...come on !! this Germany ,you have to speak German..you are the guest not the host.

It's just really sad for the babies & children that get pushed into it by their parents. No child should die or drown because of pushbacks. Think EU needs a new system, either a centre outside of Europe where you can only apply there, and others are sent there or send back to their country. As a Filipino watching the economy of USA from afar, I think that no other politician has shown significant concern to help its economy except for Trump. He's pretty bold and not scared to voice out issues that make the democrats uncomfortable. It is not for me to decide who others will vote. However, I see a leader in Trump and he's not afraid to fight back. It's only a matter of time for the Chinese to create its own microchips that are of novelty and prestige. Their economy is of course stagnant as of the moment because many foreign companies pulled out from China. Nevertheless, do you think it's going to be forever? They will cope and soon establish theirs given their population and government financial backing. Trump was right to put trade war against them to regulate foreign trade as it did with Japan. All countries will suffer when the dollar loses the international prestige. It is fastly losing it's international reputation as of these days. If this won't halt, imagine a future where the Chinese RMB will be the basis of international trade. You don't know the real plan of the Silk Road guys. Americans are conquerors and we have adjusted with their ways already. And, the Chinese are conquerors as well. Their goal is to really surpass the USA. The rise of China has benefited every ASEAN member, but greatly the former than the latter. We can adjust with their ways. However, America and Europe may not be that ready to adjust their ways for them should they surpass USA. The USA has become complacent and too liberal where individual rights, although important, have gone too far-fetched. This has created entitled individuals who think they own the world. Now, look at the Chinese. While most young Americans are busy dancing in TikTok and the likes of wasting time for entertainment, most young Chinese are studying hard and upskilling. Let's remember that America became great because of its inventions and extremely the nuclear power. Without great minds, minds that are feebled by drugs and misguided philosophies, a society will crumble. USA can use its weapons and influences against other countries, but can it hold the progress of it's rival economy for the rest of the years? You guys need a leader who is competitive and won't back down from a fight. As of these days, given only two political candidates to choose for presidency, I dare say that Trump has a higher bidding for the goodness of USA. Of course he wasn't able to accomplish his plan before after you guys impeached him. How the hell can a leader complete its plan after being halted unprecedentedly amid his administration? Kamala Harris looks promising but not convincing. Aura, although unquantifiable, do speak something. Choose your leader and it will choose your fate. Let's hear what the two sides will share this upcoming debate. If I'm American, whoever wins that debate, wins my heart. As easy as that. You see, if someone can be defeated so easily in his or her country through debate, do you think that whoever that someone who wins will be able to compete globally? lol\n\nIn area, Canada is the second biggest country in the world but unfortunately it is managed as a small country like Monaco, Andorra or the Vatican. \nThe housing issues we see in Vancouver and GTA is caused by the lack of high-speed trains like we see in Tokyo, Seoul and many Chinese or European cities, where lots of people can live 300Km away from their jobs. \nThe government need to build in Canada these urban high-speed train lines: \n- Vancouver island-Kamloops-Calgary-Edmonton \n- Quebec city-Montreal-Ottawa-Toronto-Windsor \n \nThese two high speed train lines will serve more than 70% of population in Canada, allow them to live hundred of kilometers away form their jobs, buying houses where land price are cheaper. \n \nThe second factor that makes Canadians houses not affordable is manpower price, and that can be easily with temporary working visas like we see in the agricultural sector, but this is not easy to do because the unions in Canada are strong, and will force electricians, plumbers, drywallers, etc. of years of training and certifications, when in other developed countries a professional engineer signatures to certify the construction is the only thing that is needed. \nIn lots of Europeans countries, professional engineers train their trades apprentices to build houses, and sign and become responsible for the quality and safety of the construction. \nMunicipalities also employ professional engineers that visit work sites to check if all construction rules are being followed. \n \nCanada cannot implement this plan because that will bring ruin to the Ponzi scheme we see in the housing market, causing million of mortgages payers going under water, and multiple banks to collapse like we saw in USA and Europe during the 2008 Great Recession. \n \nThe only solution for this situation is a communist regime implemented by the NDP, replicating the quiet revolution that started in Quebec last century (1960).

In area, Canada is the second biggest country in the world but unfortunately it is managed as a small country like Monaco, Andorra or the Vatican.\nThe housing issues we see in Vancouver and GTA is caused by the lack of high-speed trains like we see in Tokyo, Seoul and many Chinese or European cities, where lots of people can live 300Km away from their jobs.\nThe government need to build in Canada these urban high-speed train lines:\n- Vancouver island-Kamloops-Calgary-Edmonton\n- Quebec city-Montreal-Ottawa-Toronto-Windsor\n\nThese two high speed train lines will serve more than 70% of population in Canada, allow them to live hundred of kilometers away form their jobs, buying houses where land price are cheaper.\n\nThe second factor that makes Canadians houses not affordable is manpower price, and that can be easily with temporary working visas like we see in the agricultural sector, but this is not easy to do because the unions in Canada are strong, and will force electricians, plumbers, drywallers, etc. of years of training and certifications, when in other developed countries a professional engineer signatures to certify the construction is the only thing that is needed.\nIn lots of Europeans countries, professional engineers train their trades apprentices to build houses, and sign and become responsible for the quality and safety of the construction.\nMunicipalities also employ professional engineers that visit work sites to check if all construction rules are being followed.\n\nCanada cannot implement this plan because that will bring ruin to the Ponzi scheme we see in the housing market, causing million of mortgages payers going under water, and multiple banks to collapse like we saw in USA and Europe during the 2008 Great Recession.\n\nThe only solution for this situation is a communist regime implemented by the NDP, replicating the quiet revolution that started in Quebec last century (1960).
