It’s an important wake-up call for Canadians—less focus on encouraging domestic hard drug consumption and merely selling raw materials, and more on producing value-added goods. We should reinvest in small, innovative Canadian businesses with less bureaucracy.

This is the same guy that closed peoples bank accounts during covid starving families where truck drivers and farmers couldn't make a living a dictator driven by self power and here we have u.s citizens saying they agree with him and his sugar coating if that's the case move to Canada we have become to dependent on other countries supplying us with what we can produce ourself its time to get back to work made in America for Americans there is nothing we can't do if we come together and stop believing the hype that we need other countries

From Italy, Trump is coming for us too, and we’re afraid. Stay strong Canada, I will not miss the chance to support canadian produces and brands when available ❤️
2025-03-04 0
Cut a deal with Russia to buy their natural gas and other products to replace Canadian goods while ramping up domestic production. \nStop selling Canada military equipment, let them produce their own.\n\n\nCanada will implode in 2 years.

He knows what ever he says or do will not be his problem after this year. He is not mentioning the fact that USA purtaches 64 billion more from Canada than Canada does from the US. It will sting in the beginning but, If it's not cheaper to produce in other countries manufacturers will move to where the money is and the US has the Money
2025-03-04 0
We can produce those things we get from you here at home. It will strengthen the farmers and American business.

Trump also accuses China of fentanyl. The truth is, China produces a precursor or an ingredient of fentanyl and legally exports to pharmaceutical companies all over the world. Not like the drug dealers in the US call up China and say” hey China, hook me with some fentanyl, bro!”
2025-03-04 0
Why are we blaming fentanyl on Canada and Mexico? Or even China or Colombia, or wherever the hell it's produced? Last I checked, there were no Mexicans or Canadians coming over here and injecting people with syringes in the middle of the street.\nThe US refuses to legalize drugs, or even decriminalize them... and then we're surprised how there is a rampant black market with - gasp - unsafe drugs. GTFOH (, America).

Each country slapping 25% tariff at each other SOUNDS FAIR. Nothing wrong with that. \n\nNOW let the consumers decide which to buy and let the manufacturer where to produce.
2025-03-04 0
We apologize to Canada for our third rate education system that produces morons who don’t understand fear-based politics are rarely backed by facts. Use the right buzz words, crime/drugs/money and the sheep will line up every time, guaranteed.
2025-03-04 0
Don't buy Ford, Chevrolet, Ram, Teslas, and iPhones. Canadians, we are united. Buy other Japanese and European brands. Toyota produces Camry in Japan too; send that version to Canada to avoid tariffs.
2025-03-04 0
Canada has been so unfair in trade with the U S for years imbalance, soaking us with high prices for construction material, resource material, auto and mechanical products, we can make and produce our own shit, trudeau can go scratch. And i would hope my fellow Americans would stand up to these threats, where are your balls???

Canada should not tell us what is going to happened with inflation when the primary cause for the stunning inflation this last 3 years was the implementation of sanctions on a major oil producer that Canada participated in along the G7 countries.

in 2013, the United Nations set out a Universal Agenda called the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Right to Health, in this Agenda, which has to be met by 2030, Since 2013, we had the Climate Change hoax that was started by our king while he asked for all financial institution to dish out over $780 billion dollars worth 'green things' which are now going bankrupt, however, he convinced that the earth was going to combust, then we had the COVID, which killed many, so now that those schemes are over, we are slapped with another tax scheme called tariffs. Anyhow, the Agenda said that in order for us to enter 'THE NEW ERA' the natural resources that the Country produces are to be shared for all citizens to enjoy, NOT SHAREHOLDERS!!
2025-03-04 0
Fentanyl comes from China. Why are we not demanding that China simply stop producing it?
2025-03-04 0
He is a terrible leader. Our country can produce what we get from them in a short period of time. Doing that would create jobs and make us more independent
2025-03-04 0
Buy produced and made in canada and we will survive this together, we are strong and proud of our country, no one can destroy us unless we give them power over us. Thank you Mr prime Minister Trudeau, together we will survive this.
2025-03-04 0
Where is fentynal produced?
2025-03-04 0
FYI America. Here in Ontario we produce one third of North America’s electrical output. Most of which we send down south. Some of y’all are gonna have some cold dark nights ahead.

Canada is already heading into an economic crisis, and what Trudeau just did might be the final nail in the coffin. This is his last big mistake — and he’ll soon blame Trump’s policies to cover up his own failures.\n\nLet’s be clear: Trump’s tariff policies aren’t some random attack — they’re based on a simple reality: The U.S. doesn’t need Canada. Here’s why:\n\nEconomy Size Comparison:\n\nU.S. GDP (2024): Over $28 trillion\nCanada GDP (2024): Around $2.3 trillion\nThe U.S. economy is more than 12 times larger than Canada’s — the leverage is completely one-sided.\nTrade Imbalance:\n\n75% of Canadian exports go straight to the U.S. — Canada’s economy depends on the American market to survive.\nMeanwhile, only around 12-15% of U.S. exports go to Canada. The U.S. can replace Canadian goods easily through Mexico, Europe, or Asia, but Canada has no backup plan for losing U.S. access.\nPopulation and Consumer Base:\n\nU.S. population: Over 330 million\nCanada: Around 40 million\nThe U.S. is 8 times the market size, meaning American businesses would always prioritize the U.S. market over Canada.\nNatural Resources & Energy:\n\nCanada’s oil, gas, and timber exports rely heavily on U.S. buyers.\nThe U.S. is already the world’s top producer of oil and gas thanks to its shale industry — it can easily survive without Canadian energy.\nCanada, on the other hand, would struggle to find new customers fast enough to avoid collapse.\n\nDefense & Global Influence:\nThe U.S. holds dozens of trade agreements with major powers like the EU, Japan, South Korea, and Mexico.\nCanada’s economy relies heavily on U.S. investment, which could be cut off or redirected if necessary.\nBottom line: Trudeau is dragging Canada into a crisis of his own making. He’s gambling with his country’s economic future, knowing full well that in any economic war with the U.S., Canada loses — fast. When the fallout hits, Trudeau will shift the blame to Trump, but the facts are clear: Canada needs the U.S. far more than the U.S. needs Canada.

Well done canada for standing your ground....having family there I know how strong the feeling is amongst Canadians.....be proud of who you are and take your produce , minerals and oil and deal with people who will treat you like an equal respected partner .I've no doubt europe will be next ......the american government will slowly isolate itself from its western partners and that's s real shame for the American public .......it'll cost jobs in the us cause inflation and it's gonna get a lot more expensive for everyone
2025-03-04 0
Good had to be self preservant, for 70+ yrs.Maybe I will be able to sell my produce in public, without paying off the govt.first.Critters get bout 2 to 3 tons pr.season.Trudoe gotta go.
2025-03-04 0
Watch the weasel try to squirm out of this one. Nope. Go Trump! Balance the budget. Pay down the debt, and make Americans wealthy and strong (by producing local) again!
2025-03-04 0
Isn't it the U.S. border officials and customs responsible for what comes into our country and Canadian border officials and customs responsible for what comes into their country. Also, most fentanyl in the U.S. is actually produced in the U.S. itself.
2025-03-04 0
The US needs to be self sufficient and produce our own products \nWe need to bring manufacturing back to our country \nWe can produce the materials to manufacture in the USA \nWe need to see the future for USA \nTo many factories have been shut down
2025-03-04 0
Your country couldn't hurt us if you wanted to. We don't need you we can buy your products from someone else or we can produce our own your country sir for the most part is it frozen sheet of ice who needs your Southern partner that can grow things in the warmer weather you moron
2025-03-04 0
I think these words mean nothing, one shoudl look at actual data. There have been a tremendous imbalance between the US and most of the world. US produces so much, have so many resourcers but could not compete. Instead, they were forced to open operations in foreign countries, which does not benefit US taxpayers. You like it or not, US was on a downhill if other countries would not agree to make American products competitive.
2025-03-04 0
Canada needs the United States more than we need the Canadians. They have a 200 billion trade deficit with the US and just about everything we get from Canada, we can produce right here in our country. Energy, lumber, produce etc.\nThere might be a little discomfort in the beginning but a year from now America will be better off.
2025-03-04 0
Canada MAY be our friends but Trudeau is leading them down a bad path. We don’t need ANY of your products. We will produce our own or do without before being scammed or paying up front for goods to ‘be rendered,.Let them rot on the docks or in the fields. Maybe China will buy them at half price
2025-03-04 0
Trump’s foreign policy is to put America First including less import goods and start producing our own goods. It is going to be tough but we are resilient. God bless America.
2025-03-04 0
The US needs nothing from Canada. They produce Canola oil (poison) and tainted wheat. We don't need it. Love Canadians. Love Canada. But recognize that Trudeau is evil. After all....he pushed the poison shots onto his people. He is evil. He should not be in power.
2025-03-04 0
Now i aint the smartest apple falling from the tree but aint nobway Donald doing all this to chase a ghost, nobody will ever be able to get rid of a drug produced by an unknown, this is a distraction to cover up something else
2025-03-04 0
I work in the oilfield. We have a ton of petroleum crude produced everyday here in the US?
2025-03-04 0
No wonder Canada has decided to concentrate trade to Europe, American arms manufacturers are switching producing American arms production outside the USA.\n\nCountries effected by trumps tariff wars will be signing trade agreements to trade outside the USA pushing down offshore prices of a range of products American consumers already consume in quantity.\n\nEurope and other trading partners will benefit from these short term moves. Trade flows, capital will reallocate to off shore locations.

Canadian here. \nEveryone please listen, this man is a liar about the “F” drug please look up Sam Cooper and his reporting on it. CCP is funding the Liberal party as well some of our provincial party’s as well. Don’t believe everything said on the television. Do your own research and start with Sam Cooper. Vancouver is a major hub where this stuff is shipped in produced then exported. This man has lied in the past he’s lying now and will lie in the future. He’s a W E F prodigy.

I and my wife together pay over 100,000 CAD annually through taxes as foreign workers from India, i have never felt this patriotic towards Canada. Together, Canadians can weather this situation. And we will brace the impact together, and Canada can only move in one direction when pushed against wall which is moving forward. Use oil, energy, produce and other resources wisely and you have massive win to out do USD, not far is CAD moving past USD. Go Canada!!
2025-03-04 0
I stand with “Made in U.S.A.” He speaks as though we have no land that can produce the same products.

I think it was Margaret Thatcher during the Reagan administration the one who said, Americans are notorious about choosing stupid presidents. So, what to say about that? What I've heard from some of my friends is that they don't care if democracy is gone as long as their taxes go down. They want a lower income tax bracket. They're very single minded about issues. We'll see how we fair once you have to pay more at the pump, when the price of electronics go up, when produce and beef, pork, and chicken become unaffordable. Yes, the middle and upper middle class probably don't care, but the lower classes and the already poor are not going to be happy. Once people are hungry, then you'll see people on the street. Once the farmers start losing their farms and small businesses start losing their investments, you'll see people on the streets. Americans are not hungry enough yet. Just wait.

Don’t buy anything American made, produced or sold by American company’s. We have a choice and a voice that the USA can hear, our megaphone is our cash.
2025-03-04 0
Canada has the winning hand. Canada has resources that USA needs to survive. USA has nothing to offer to Canada to survive. If Canada should cut energy to USA, let’s see who is the boss. For say, Canada is the biggest producer for potash, a fertilizer needed for the American fields. Canada will suffer from these tariffs but USA will cash down harder. Hell will come down on USA unfortunately hurting our American friends and relatives south of Canadian border.

Wow PM Trudeau speaks only the truth. ? how reassuring to see our leader being so sincere and standing strong for the people in Canada and clearly showing the world and people in the US the truth that the US GOVERNMENT hates to hear. What a disgrace to have such malicious people in the administration when the power could be used to save people and make the society better. Their slogan is frankly MAWA - make America worse again (2nd trump term). So happy to see PM Trudeau telling its dumb to do this directly to the orange sack of s*hit. Maple Pride is strong!!! I’m not only feeding my family Canadian produce and products, but also my cats! ❤
2025-03-04 0
As a Canadian, we don't produce any arms and the ones that we have in our country come from the usa...then we should do the same as Mexico...we should sue the state for the crossing border in Canada....

I’ve been predicting this since two years ago, this is my assessment for the near future: Putin’s euphoria about the USA abandoning Ukraine will be short lived. The EU is determined to finish the job in Ukraine. And it has three powerful triumph cards ?: 1. the $300billion Putin’s frozen money 2. The EU has an enormous capacity to build weapons in short time. Germany built 6 liquefied natural gas docking stations in 6 months, a world’s record. Ukraine has demonstrated that Russia is a paper tiger. Its drones have devastated not only the Russian tanks, but the oil refineries. Imagine if the E5 army (Germany, the UK, France, Poland and Italy) start producing weapons? Which they will. But the current weapons are ( the typhoon, grippen, mirage, Rafale ) more sophisticated than the old mig29 or the useless Su57. Russia doesn’t dare to try to dominate the Ukrainian airspace. And Ukraine, without a navy, destroyed 40% of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. Even the flagship Moskva!! 3. But the most powerful weapon that the European Union has is the Almighty stable euro. The United States has been printing trillions of dollars and exporting them for years, they’re hiding under the mattresses of Third World countries for a rainy day. If the EU says we no longer will accept dollars, the United States will disappear overnight. The BRICS countries will pile up on the USA, which will be alone in the world. Hyperinflation and poverty will be the result. This ability to weaken the USA economy and currency, By simply saying we want to move away from that currency, will make Wall Street run away from it. The printed trillions that slowly flew out the country will fly back in days, creating a hyperinflation that Zimbabwe and Venezuela wish they had…. Warren Buffet is getting out of the United States stock market to the tune of $350 billion and put that money in the Japanese stock market, this should tell you what is going to happen soon. Either the big guys in Wall Street take control of the guy in the White House, or they will have no country or no money. The EU will preserve democracy and the civilized world. The non proliferation treaty will be history and Russia will never dare to threaten the west anymore. Thank you, Putin. You won, you destroyed the USA, but created a more powerful Europe. Celebrate on May 9. Europe will celebrate when the last Russian is dead in Ukraine
2025-03-04 1
Your just as bad as putin. What automobiles does Canada produce ? Oh none so maybe we dont sell you any cars from now on. We'll see who wins this.
2025-03-04 0
So it will only hurt Americans family but not Canadian?? We can make those factory to produce from USA side. Sorry, I didn’t vote for trump.
2025-03-04 0
We voted to be more independent from other countries. We voted to make America a producer again. \nIf Canada and everyone else wants to be butt hurt about it then so be it. It also makes sense to alight yourself with the country that could take out all of the other countries. Putin won’t live forever either. This is about the long game. America first! \nWe don’t need yall and yall don’t need us so you shouldn’t care and flip out over tariffs lmao
2025-03-04 0
Of course Trudeau is going to lie about what Trump is doing. Trump knows Canada has been a close ally since Canada and U.S. were countries but when Canada and Mexico are taking advantage of the U.S. economically speaking and called out by President Trump, they don't know what to do. Can Mexico and Canada make it without U.S. as a trading partner? Can U.S. oil producers make enough energy for all the needs of U.S. citizens and their companies? Can U.S. farmers provide enough eggs, milk, chicken, beef, grains, etc. without Canada or Mexico?
2025-03-04 0
The producers of The Apprentice said they regret having made Trump look like a successful businessman when he was nothing even remotely close. Trump is the epitome of DEI (Didn't Earn It)
2025-03-04 0
Why Trudeau, still gotta stroke TRUMP'S ego?! No,he is NOT a very smart guy!!! No, he didn't produce jobs! I wish Charlie Angus would've gave the speech. He don't kiss a**!
2025-03-04 0
Not personel just buisness. No we are not. We are trying to get the tyrant (putin to the table) EU is weak and we are the only ones who can solve this war. Yet NONE of you even tried while Biden was in office. This will enable us to produce these goods at home and you as well. No need to import export everything. You will come out well too. Its the game you all are playing.
