Inflation is an issue across the world, and it's acutley felt in expensive western countries like Canada, Australia or the UK. This is obvious and not the fault of those countries.

I was an international student in Australia, and I got a PR in Canada (but decided to go back Europe). \n\nIf these people dont like the rule they can go back to where they are from.

You could go other countries for study but chose Canada because it is banana Republic and you know you will get PR after some small bogus course. Australia don't even give PR to people who studied there unless they study the profession which they need. I like to go to Japan and live there so I will go for study there and then demand Japanese government to give me PR??? government is not saying no to you but government wants you to study the profession which is needed not fast food servers, security guard and truck drivers because for these jobs people are already here in Canada in tons. And when you saturate the labour market for these unskilled jobs then the corporations would have upper hands and they will suppress the wages and the living standards of everyone will go down. So don't try to become victim here I know you are Punjabi and I am from third world country too these tactics are old to become victim. Go study skill trade and build home for Canadians and then the government will give you PR no doubt. But you pendoos Jut came from Punjab villages and can't study hard subjects and looking for easy ways to get PR.

The English were supposed to have it all figured out, and the freest, most prosperous countries in the world were going to be Britain, the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Now, for the average person, those countries are neither prosperous nor free. Even Russia is starting to look better.

We have pretty much very similar challenges in Australia. I would say living cost is even higher than Canada. But the good aspect is the weather. In Western Australia we enjoy over 300d Blue sunny skies and in Winter although rainy, we seldom get below freezing temperatures. So i don't need to worry about damaging my LFP batteries for my Offgrid solar system.\nAnother benefit is the bike path network in WA is extensive. You can pretty much get to anywhere on a bike, riding mostly on a very nice and safe bike path. I cover 60km every day travelling to/from work on my ebike. And it takes less than 1 hour for each trip.\nCrime rate has been getting worse though. It is fuel by drug use. So if people go out especially at night, you definitely need to be highly alert and watch your 6 o'clock. One can get attacked for no obvious reason and very commonly from behind. ???

This is said very politically correct and polit explanation, but my experience living in australia, I tell you it's much worse place to choose. In west you are not free either and is extremely hard to assimilate. The social problems are mounting. The issue is that there are many newbies that have no idea, they do sacrifices but it may never pay up. For me I have left before and when I came back I even found it worse.

This is not about only Indians overwhelmingly overpowering Brampton. You may call this town Mini-India based on your biased perceptions. Peoples looking alike, culturally and socially similar, speaking the same languages feeing safe, comfortable and less challenged and have tendacies to reside together in the same geographical locations.. Just say you can’t get a visa in Australia ans you need to try Canada. No need to drag the country down. I live in Canada and yes it is a very nice place to live but half of what you said is not accurate. Nothing will prepare you for how long and cold the winters are. There is great content on this channel. Now analysing this and the one on Australia the biggest issue is immigration. We have such great countries, why are we allowing foreign investment coupled with immigration from third world countries. There is a reason they’re leaving their subpar countries, why are we welcoming an unlimited amount of the very people that created these subpar countries.

US caps Green cards based on where you were born. For Canada, China and India remain the two big contributors. NZ, Australia and Canada fall in the same category. Not much going on economy wise so trying to grow population to gain more GDP and taxation. Also, helps run the Ponzi schemes like housing where prices keep on multiplying every decade. Canada’s statistics are no different than Australia, USA and France for example in terms of homelessness and home ownership. Nothing wrong with immigration, the annual rate seems a bit skewed though. Similar issue in Australia, I’m happy for immigration to increase when infrastructure meets population increase. English as a common language is essential though, at least IELTS 5.0 for the visa holder.

Perhaps because Australia being so isolated from the world it’s isolated from world markets it’s hard to get resources so if more immigration / people competing for limited shipments from the ports equals more expensive way of life than what it is now. Just something to think about
