Ive lived in brampton for 5 years. Yes we do have a good number of our people here. \nTalking about temples, thats what indian people do, we are religous. And i dont see anything wrong with having our temples built the traditional way. The city had no issue with it thats how they got permits to build. \nWhy so many of us live here …. Brampton is located very close to all major cities in gta. It has a good public\nTransport network…. A lot of colleges both convenient for the students. And more over the govt did not specify where new commers should go. \nI thought canada was always a land of immigrants from hundreds of years so dont know when they say too many of us here. We came like others…. Did the paperwork… got approved for visa. Students pay 3x the money for the same course a canadian would pay. Its contributing to the economy.

I don't understand the numbers, i am Canadian and we are only 41 millions in the entire Canada, yeah we did let 1.5 million immigrants in in the last 4 years but the number doesn't add up and second i can see more Chinese and black than indian peoples. Nothing is accurate in your dramatic calculation. Anyway those immigrants will go away after a couple of months when they see in 2024 that a rent for an apartment costs between 1500$ to 2200$ per month and with 100$ of foods we can barely live 4 days

i been home less 6 years now in thunder bay ont i work most my life i help others gave money,now you think i can get help not a chance,and yes everything is about money we like fast food.i can get help as i clean and sober now for over 3 years witch i done myself,no clinics just hard work in the bush keep me right,our goverment is about the money they all make money off us its sad that our people suffer they need to step up help us and look food banks i see them there new clothes phones cars all together claim for ten people there takes me hours to get food so i stop going his life not easy and the goverment and agencys make money off us sad so sad

There is quite literally a housing crisis across almost the entire developed world, save for Japan or countries that are seeing a net population decrease. \n\nHousing is a provincial and municipal responsibility and short of a massive expansion of the state to build housing, there is very little the federal government can do to fix it. However, what the Federal government has done is allow people to borrow more and change mortgage amortization rates which is arguably a terrible idea. This also ignores that most Millenials and Gen Z believed they were going to see the same type of quality of life as Boomers and Gen X whose quality of life was (at least partially) predicated on unprecedented levels of economic growth that have not existed in a generation.

To all those people saying the Indians took your jobs. You’re full of crap. Tons of work in this country to do. You are just too lazy to look for the right one. As much as I dislike seeing some of them making a bad name for the rest of Indians. The ones I know are very well educated people who come here to work. I’ve never seen a homeless Indian or one walking downtown drugged out of their faces. Every crack head and homeless person I see in any city in this country is straight up white, including the ones in your video. Go figure. I went to what was considered the most multi cultural high school in north america. Had Greek, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Ukrainian, Polish friends - it was awesome! But that’s multicultural not mono cultural. Everywhere I go I see Indians. Again not racist just would prefer different cultures not one. Wont be voting for Trudeau hope Polivierre has a plan

A Canadian here who moved to the USA back in the 1990's. Back then, and even more so today, it was pointless with the Canadian tax structure to work hard and make higher income. So I moved to the USA, worked my ass off in a progressive tax structure and am now in a place of happiness and freedom in retirement. I visit Canada often enjoying a great exchange rate. It's heartbreaking to see everyone either work like crazy to be left with almost nothing after taxes, or my unemployed friends get almost as much after-tax on welfare who complain about how the schools, taxes and government service are going to immigration. I hope Canada can start developing an identity and work towards something more positive than simply growing the government unions.

Toronto was my home town...I am now 73 but have lived in Norwich, England for decades. My relatives have moved out of Toronto to the Muskokas; but they always tell me how expensive the city now is. My cousin was in real estate so he knows whereof he speaks! Another cousin has moved to New Brunswick. I cannot go back any more because I always see more societal decline and it depresses me thoroughly. The Toronto of the Centennial year 1967 I will always remember fondly: a paradise! Problems seemed to be something other cities experienced. And the Leafs won the Stanley Cup!

There is a great deal of favouritism by them. Canada must remove the chaffe and recognize the good qualified people.

America is a good place to live. I have visited a number of places in the USA and it's a free first world country with alot of fun and cool places to see and do. Just like every country in the world there are positives and negatives. I think that the health care is majorly flawed in America. Health insurance is too expensive for the average person and if you get really sick and don't have health insurance in America you are probably going to die. I also don't like that there is no gun control and way to many murders and violence in the USA. Those are the 2 biggest problems that make me not want to live there.

I don't agree that North American cities are all ugly just like not all European cities are all that beautiful. Go to Rome, Naples Athens and you will see how dirty and run down these cities are. And no Vancouver is not nicer than Chicago.\n\n I think the mindset here in Canada especially Ontario is not the best. Everyone is all about going to work and just isolating. In Europe it's much more vibrant. People want to go out and socialize a lot more. Here it's basically work and home. Not much else.\n\n If things were good here economically all these points would take a back seat and most people would tolerate them. But when rent is $2000 plus. Wages are barely going up etc..etc..than everything else starts to grate on you.

He noted that drug problems, he didn't see any Indians with drug problems (although, I am sure drug problems exist in all ethnicities) but notably he saw white Canadians with this problem. Indians weren't camping out at shelters begging for hand outs. So, why are Indians being blamed? Just because there are TOO MANY? That is ridiculous. I'm originally from Canada but I've been living in the US for the past 15 years. I transited through the Vancouver airport recently and almost EVERYONE who worked there was of South Indian descent (won't generalize - but from the Indian subcontinent). It was an astounding thing to see. It's really changed since when I was younger. So interesting to see and such a contrast from Southern California. Although, if you go back 50 years, they probably said the same thing about Eastern European people.

you see drug addicts roaming the streets in brampton? homeless camps? When Indian immigration lawyers, Indian owned employment agencies who employ illegals and pay them cash, indians who have figured out to come to Canada as a part time student for courses that do not benefit canada at all, a school system that is corrupt and accepts all Indians and does not report Indians that have canceled their studies once they get their visa, a liberal government with a incompetent immigration minister , it's only going to get worse for Brampton and turn the rest of ontario in to an Indian shithole. I see no foreign news channel covering this except Indian media platform. If anything similar happened to any foreigner in India, these same westerners go crazy & start generalising entire country. There are even more serious crime have been committed against indian people in western countries but they don't get enough media coverage.

Not too far from me is a shelter. Once a gigantic Toronto Hydro building now just a gigantic building that houses immigrants.The immigrants in this shelter all originating from Africa. I have yet to see, white, asian or brown exit this building. It houses both women and men. No families with kids..that ive noticed yet. They seem to be treated very well. Everyone looks happy, healthy and full. They enter and exit freely and usually have their best clothes on like they are about to go to church. Food is is delivered to them everyday. Fully cooked meals ready to be eaten.. and im sure brought in multiple times a day. Incredibly gross of Canada

White Brampton millennial resident who grew up in 99.9% white East Coast here- this video does not provide an accurate representation of the entire city. It shows a tiny sliver. Brampton’s crime levels are lower than most other GTA cities. I feel safer here as a single woman than any other city I’ve lived in. There are Indians calling back home to their families in India in the middle often the night and they often go outside so as to avoid disrupting the sleeping members of their household. This makes me feel very safe bc I know there are normal ppl out late at night and it dissuades criminals. For the population size of Brampton, the homeless population is very low. There are folks who do sit in front of that church - tho it’s not at all dangerous like you said. There is a homeless enclave hidden in the woods behind a shopping plaza too. I see almost no homeless ppl. The biggest problem about Brampton and other suburbs of the GTA is that there are many scammers. They scammed their way into buying homes with fake T4s. They scam the CRA by not claiming their rental income so they tax evade. They use all this extra money to buy more homes which they rent out and fraudulently put them under their family members names to avoid designating them as investment properties meaning they don’t have to pay capital gains tax when they sell. T

I'm an Indian immigrant and lived in ON. I drove through Brampton once and I vowed to never go back there again. But you see this is a vicious consequence of declining birth rates in Canada. Christianity is trampled upon along with its values and principles and this is one of the results. The first thing I asked the day I landed was where were all the Canadians? Have they left the planet? \n\nA country needs people and once a certain ethnic population grows in strength and in numbers the landscape is sure to change. Besides, Canada does not demand immigrants assimilate into the culture, instead it's vice versa and it's disappointing. And when you give up Christianity, what do you expect immigrants to embrace? DEI? That's the last thing they will and continue to push their religions. \n\nBesides, what is Hindu and Pakistani? One is a religion and the other is a nationality. You may want to review that data cos something is off if it's categorized in such a manner.

Being an immigrant myself I have to say that what one might see happening in Brampton happens to another cities as the result of sexual revolution, abortion and the destruction of the family that came to be in Canada since the 70s. I’m a Canadian citizen and married to a Canadian born citizen and we have talked about this many times. In order to recover this country families need to have more autonomy on raising children but also parents have to be more involved. It’s true there’s a lot of Indians everywhere and guess what they tend to keep their values. Here in Canada as per my understanding people used to pray the Our Father in public schools and children used to get bibles, families used to go to church and now? \nThere needs to be a very big swift in policies and others but the biggest swift needs to come from families within.

Well, you are one negative fella. You choose to live in Vancouver. I live in Quebec and my rent is $550 for a one thousand square foot 2 bedroom. You obviously choose your data. My mom is in her seventies and grew up in Brampton. She hasn't been there for more then 15 yrs. I told her not to go. She would cry seeing what happened to her little home town.

If we moved to any country you would live by their rules. They move to Canada they do and wear what they want. We have our RCMP that look like India police with turbans. They get to carry their religious knives, they don't have to wear helmets while riding a motorcycle. Then you get women wearing the full garbage bags. The beach is funny to go to and look at their bathing suits. We are a minority in our own Country, just go to any major city in Canada, it's pretty sad to see our Trudeau Canada. Why is the concept of multiculturalism so hard for Canadians to understand ?\nThis isn’t your country.
