The damage is already done, and if you live in Vancouver you know what I mean. Before it was just restricted to neighborhoods. From my perspective: we should not be allowed to run for government positions or policies, education should not have separate schools for different cultures. This is disheartening... this means that my husband will never be able to live with us. My children will grow up without their father, and for some reason, Canadians are OK with Canadian children growing up in a broken home. It's going to take 35 months, for my husband to be able to immigrate to this country. That's 2 1/2 year that my kids won't have a dad, our son especially is suffering. He has a serious disease, is often hospitalized, and I'm a married woman living as a single mother. Now I'll need to rely on the government for more financial support, and my 6 year old is actually depressed because his dad is years away from being with him. I work full time, have a great home, and a side business. But now I'll need to depend on meds and disability support to take care of my child, when he has an ablebodied father that can support us, especially when our child is in one of his regular hospitalization. Have been saying it for years to many international students from India lived in qc there were so many international students coming from Punjab to qc. They will go just about anywhere in Canada if it means it will get them a PR wow left qc and moved to Ottawa so far have not seen so many international students .
