In response to the judging of immigrants. Interesting how we rarely see immigrants on our street corners asking for a handout. Instead they're at work making just barely enough to eventually have their own business in a few years. Latinos are a workforce and stimulate the economy because its a lot of hard work to maintain and sustain this country. Who's gonna do all that hard work when they're deported. Maybe our spoiled and privileged teens? All industries will suffer a void in their workforce causing products and service prices to increase. Billionaires like Corporations, Trump and Musk are the reason you are not doing well, not immigrants. Trumpism is fear, hate, blame and shame politics. Immigration has been a thing since a million years ago, and it will always exist. People migrate. Americans use 1,000 times the resources more than immigrants need. Immigrants don't even qualify to for well-fare assistance. When immigrants are gone and the borders are secured, who will be blamed next for America's problems. Instead of focusing on the greater good and progress for all Americans, Republicans can't help themselves to use their power to address their xenophobia, blame, hate without concern of who and what suffers, families of the working class suffer, and our economy, not billionaires. Mass change and reckless actions based on negative emotions and Ego based intentions of one man, is bad for everyone. I can honestly tell you that I have spent the majority of my 47 years of life helping people, doing favors for people, helping the homeless, feeding and rescuing stray dogs, lending money I didn’t have, an in essence helping my fellow neighbor. It is in my nature to think of others before myself, but guess what? Guess where that got me? No favors returned, the money is never paid back, when I needed a favor, no one was available, and when I rescued the dog, no one can help me find a home. so I think the lesson here is help yourself as in the flight attendants say before you can help your fellow neighbor if you don’t believe me question yourself how many people have you helped in your life returned the favor? SLIM TO NONE. if you don’t believe me, go ahead and ask people around you to help you pay your rent next month and see the turnout you get. This is your responsibility. my family and I, as Venezuelan immigrants who came LEGALLY in 2007, do not condone this behavior. this is unacceptable. I understand that the regime in Venezuela is inhumane and has been like this for many years and I have family that has been affected by it, but if the US lets this type of behavior slide, the problems of Venezuela will likely become US issues. Many people, including my family, left Venezuela because of gangs such as Tren de Aragua, but this border legislation is letting many of those same gang members in. Illegals don't pay any tax. They get money from the Biden/Harris administration, costing billions to the average US taxpayers. First this would be very costly. It takes money away from citizens that could use the monetary application like the homeless. Next, working illegals pay into social security that they will never use. How will those funds be replaced? And finally, many illegals are well known to be cheap labor for farmers and AG related businesses. Removing them drives up food costs because US citizens will need higher wages or US citizens will not work those jobs and create food shortages.
