The thing that needs to be explained to all would be immigrants: Go to the US Embassy in your country or whatever country you want to immigrate to and seek asylum or visa first, if the consular won't give you documentation, don't even expect to be welcomed into the country later, and if you are in the US illegally, visa expired, schools out or you crossed the border illegally you are committing a crime that could land you in jail and deported, you may even lose the right to enter the US later! It angers me what this man has done to his family. How do you claim asylum in a country when fleeing from a country you came to illegally? Immigration laws are very important and protect citizens of a country in many ways. The US welcomes immigrants with open arms when they come here legally. One time I called a Mexican store (I’m Mexican) for prices of some seafood and the guy didn’t want to give me prices told me to come in twice so I got so mad and I called my husband (who’s white) to call them and ask the same and watched them give him the prices!!! I feel sorry for this man and his family! But I wonder how sorry he feels, knowing that by coming to Canada, he and his fellow immigrant countrymen have, taken jobs away from Canadians? 1500 people like myself that have worked here all their lives? I was working in the meat industry for over fifteen years, just to have my employer, take my skilled job and give it too an unskilled worker, under the temporary foreign worker program. That program was set up by the federal government for unskilled workers, coming to Canada for unskilled jobs that Canadians didn't want. My job was a skilled job, that I had to work my way up from the bottom, to the level of employment, that only skilled workers were capable of doing. This temp program was for unskilled employment only! But if your employer is big enough in the industry, the government allows them to bend the laws of the land, and give your jobs to any undereducated immigrant that comes along...WTF? Canada wake up!!!
