Be careful when doom and gloom videos like this are published and always check the sources.

My dad came to this country in the 80s; I was born here. I had a lovely childhood in the 90s and 2000s. My parents bought a house in suburban Toronto with just a high school education. They sent us to public school, which was perfectly good. I was looking forward to buying my own house, etc. I loved this country. Even back then, people were reticent about being too nationalistic. But I was PROUD to be Canadian even though my parents were not born here. I thought of myself as Canadian, I sang O Canada proudly, I celebrated Remembrance Day in a solemn way even as a child, and I would have died for the country if we had been at war. \n\nWell, not anymore. I don't recognize this country after years of Trudeau. I can never buy a house here, the cost of groceries is burdening me, and the younger people in my family can't even find part time jobs as students. People are increasingly rude, crime has me on edge, it's congested. Freedom of speech, which was taken for granted when I was very young, is dwindling away. Churches have been burnt, Trudeau has incited hatred against people who disagree with him. I'm actually moving to the USA to work there, so that will ease a lot of these issues. (I know it's not perfect down there, but having spent a lot of time there, I can see many things are better). But I'm sad. I'm sad for my family that still lives here. I'm sad that the country I once loved is gone.

I agree with no things: no pork (except the odd pepperoni) toilet hygiene which the aristocrats learnt from the Turks , other than that I am thankful but at the same time struggling to find my identity with an English crowd because i was nearly in indoctrination.

The younger generation of Canada is facing the most hardships of all time. My friend’s son cannot find a job in a year now. He was discouraged to seek the truck driver license as he was told that he would not possibly to get a job in this career now unless you are an Indian. Not racism, but this is the real phenomenon now.

I don’t understand it. It’s not perfect but I find basic functionality of the country better for me than for example California. California was so expensive and spent too much life in traffic. Munich is a lovely city it would be better if just more friendly.

I don’t find this racist at all. It is very logical and needed discussion. Immigration department needs to evaluate all the options before granting entry to newcomers. Jobs, housing, what skills they bring, what is needed for the country, and most importantly adaptability of newcomers.

Currently every country is mismanaged to the extreme, they tend to be a path of national suicide. Canada is one of the worst among these countries, if you find the economic numbers, they tend to hide it, Canada is the worst performing country now and will be in the future. Unfortunately Germany is not a very attractive place for immigrants for the reasons the guy mentioned. The bureaucracy is incredibly frustrating and it's not only for immigrants. I got offered a job by a very well known multi international company here and they expected me to do the visa application by myself, because they haven't dealt with it before and evidently not enough information was readily available for them to take on the process. Those who are planning to come to Germany I would say spend a lot of time familiarizing yourself with how taxes will impact your salary. Insist on getting a dummy payslip with estimates of what your take home will be (because in Germany there are variables that could make an accurate estimate hard), research the average median expenses in the city or town you are moving to and be preperared to be the person who initiate contact with others. Learn the language which will make it easier to make friends (this will not happen over night as Germans by nature are not the warmest people), but in time yes. Find out whether your qualifications are comparable to those in Germany. You will be so surprise how many people don't do this check and waste their time doing courses that will not benefit them. I know it's incredibly hard to find out about this, like with everything else in this country, finding information on things isn't easy. You will need to speak to 4/5 different people, but it's worth it in the long run and saves you a lot of time.

I'm an architect who lives in Austria and the situation is not much different here. I feel trapped and it's a nightmare to find a job in my field. On top of that the salaries are very low compared with the prices. I have to get out of here.

its not going solve any thing , rent is too high , food is too high , nothing is going to change no matter who is incharge of canada , and finding people to work will be harder because most canadains dont like low wage jobs !

I understand you as a foreigner need to learn the language of the country in which you reside in, but I still find it really strange that A LOT of Immigration Offices are for the most part german-only and some advise you to bring a translator.\n\nI mean if there's anywhere that needs people who can speak english, the immigration office would be the obvious choice.

Excellent! Canada must train First Nations people for these jobs so they can get a step on the ladder to success. Immigration consultants IN INDIA charge ridiculous amounts to help people from India complete very simple application forms. These consultants in India are really the slave traders who find cheap labour for predatory Canadian employers. Plus only a few immigrants from India ever succeed in Canada. Most are taxi drivers and restaurant workers.

Yeah Indian students come to Canada and empty food banks intended for Canadians, occupy rental houses needed for Canadian families, and take all service jobs making it hard for Canadian born students to find part time work.... They also get free services paif for by Canadian taxpayers for Canadian citizens... Canada gets ripped off by students of every race and nationality.... Canadians getting totally fed up. Foreign workers need to be reduced and Trudeau should be the first guy kicked out.

I am from Goa, a beach paradise in India, & we have Indian tourists coming here in the thousands & pissing & even shitting on our beaches, apart from littering the place with all kinds of trash. You find red patches of paan spittle all over, & the drunken ones even puke on the sands & litter the place with shards of glass from the booze bottles they smash. Gangs of crude male tourists keep harassing females, particularly foreigners, & all of this has led to a sharp decline in foreign tourist arrivals. Even Goans avoid going to these beaches nowadays.

Part of the issue as well is permitting too many people from one place. India. They come here and find themselves in places like Brampton, where there is no need to assimilate.

Similarly with a friend of mine who has had his own business (went broke thx covid laws), has lot of experience, certificates but cant find skilled jobs. The only jobs we get direct and positive responses are low skilled jobs.

I was born in Canada but my parents came here a while back for a better life almost 25 yrs ago. They immigrated legally, my father was very educated in his field of engineering but redid his education here. Am I apart of this problem? I feel as Canada is my home and I have adopted a lot of the customs, but if I’m disrupting the flow of how the medical system works because of my foreign blood then I might consider finding another country that is already preset for someone like me.
