I have been a victim of racism from people coming from rural Indian areas, some Canadians I met were 10 times better than the Indians I met here and every time I got ripped off was from a person from south asian country, not all but some are so so bad! Specially Punjabi females they are very aggressive judgmental and rude.

As a white Brazilian, I would say my experience was quite good (I've returned home less than 1 month ago). \n\nApart of some obvious jokes about the 7-1, I've never faced anyone who made me feel unwelcome or undesired, quite the opposite in many situations. Being of German descent certainly made things better. Other white Brazilians I've met told me they had similar experiences.\n\nUnfortunately, immigrants from other Global South countries and non-white Brazilians probably have very different experiences, for the worse. I've heard many unpleasant comments from my German friends and colleagues regarding turks, Arabs, africans and other immigrants from the South of the world. It's certainly a problem for many skilled workers who are not white and could contribute for the country, but they can't thanks to racism.\n\nIn my view, apart of racism, another great problem in Germany when it comes to foreign skilled workers is the lack of digitalization in the country and the bad Internet. Many jobs require good internet connection and digitalization, which are not always provided by the Germans , unlike virtually all the other European countries including much poorer ones. \n\nHaving said that, Germany has many good-hearted, kind and welcoming people (except the racists, of course), and a fantastic culture.

Just go. You have no rights here. Close the border for good. Weed out the bad. Send temporary workers and non citizens back and start over and only bring in skilled and educated people for the positions we need filled. Tim Hortons and McDonalds don't count.

If you don't care enough to respect the country which you're living you're not worthy of staying in that country. As simple as that. You do not own this country or India for that matter, learn to respect the people and culture of the country you're staying in. Keeping aside Canadia's vices, we always have to remember that this land is our home for the number of years we're studying here. If you wouldn't do something it in your own home, you shouldn't do anywhere else. It's because of people like these all the Indians receive hate. People like me who genuinely care about education and respect the Canadian Culture suffer. Although I am glad that most of the Canadians that I have came across till now have been able to understand how different I am from the bad experiences they've had in the past and treat me well. It is all about economy and business, The Government is collecting huge capital from sponsorship and visa applications and processing system, and Colleges, Universities are making lot of money from foreign students charging 4,5 x fees, also people they move to Canada ?? ? they sell their properties and bring all the money to this country to start the business, providing jobs and contributing in to building Canadian economy even more stronger, we can’t say anything bad to any community just because of some bad people. Most of house owner and investors vote liberal as they want to sustain and keep increasing their house prices....They made more than triple in liberal goverment. Glad to see this talk. I will vote for your party again for the third time. Call me a racist, I don't care but the country is going downhill too quickly. I definitely want to get Trudeau and the communism out of the politics in the country. My heart just lies with this party platform. I want Pierre to win but I will vote for this man and his party. The Canadian government have failed Canadians badly.

There are a lot of fraud agencies in Punjab and Delhi and they let these guys come in with fake IELTS scores. Why is Canada not checking them at the point of entry? Deny entry if they can't speak English properly for example. That is the biggest scam going on at the moment and I'm sorry but I do not feel bad if Canada send these guys back to India. We don't want them either but atleast they were born here!

I have a lot of friends that are actual immigrants that do things the right way, and actually have respect for our country. Genuinely feels so bad for them right now being targeted because of these scamming assholes are making good people that actually immigrated here legitimately and/or were born and raised here look bad. C'mon David, you can't compare this encampment to freedom convoy thugs who honked all night in Ottawa, blocked roads, businesses closed down and couldn't operate, they blocked borders. US/Canada both suffered due to the blockade at Ambassador Bridge. As a long haul Trucker, I couldn't work and I was forced to stay home because of those Convoy thugs. Trudeau did the right thing about Convoy thugs. Yes, I agree, these low-class immigrants and international students shouldn't have been brought here in the first place. They shouldn't be allowed to get jobs here. They shouldn't be allowed to apply for citizenship. Canada needs to cut down on it's immigration. That is my main concern: many immigrants are not just keeping their old culture but forcing it on native Canadians of all descent. \nFor refugees, it absolutely boggles my mind why you might want to recreate the very situations that you are fleeing from. \nFor Indians specifically, I’ve noticed a tendency to hire only other Indians, excluding Canada from Canadians and I don’t appreciate it. In the last 10+ years that’s changed, and the resentment is growing exponentially now. Deportation is a traumatic experience for anyone, imagine u left Ur home country, sold every assets. You settle in a new country learning the culture & laws. Getting acquainted with the climate. Taking into consideration that over time while abroad (be it Canada) things may have changed from the way u left in your home country. Imagine staying in Canada legally n some times immigration process could take a long time, say u stay for abt 4 or 5 years waiting. And boom ? u get news u have to go back. Maybe u started a family. Now how do u start ?it easy to seat n say deport deport , wait until it's you or your friend. Deportation isn't bad but certain considerations should be examined . I hope indians will reflect of what they're doing, like indian students, i see some of them don't pay on the bus, i had experienced when we were waiting in line in bus station, i see them cutting line, they were lucky because Canadians are polite, and just let it go, one time an indian male driver parks his car on where the bus pass through in bus station, in tim Hortons most of the time they give us the wrong order, and i always had a stomach Ache when i eat at tims, but i never had problems when i order from other coffee shops, only at tims, and in our neighborhood they throw their garbage on the side of train rails, and it was clean before the indian immigrants move in in our neighborhood? Canada is Ruined? but i know there are good indians out there who follow the rules, i hope their bad habits will stop its ruining the indian community

I went to visit Niagara Falls last weekend after 6 years, I swear I thought I was in India. All I saw were indians, all I heard was their language, loud indian music blasting in cars, on the streets, everywhere. Me and my boyfriend were playing a game to spot other people than indians, because it was that bad. Dont get me wrong, I love multiculturalism but this is not proportional and it’s not right.

I live in downtown Montreal, and it has become really bad. We had homelessness and considering where I chose to live, we had a lot of club drug use. Now? We have addicts all over the streets. I am kinda happy that winter is coming and all these people sleeping in the parks and throwing garbage and needles around will be too cold to do this. Maybe they will go to Vancouver. I don’t know, but I am now dreaming of selling my house and moving elsewhere.

Not every student here is bad . Blame only those who are creating problems .
