Like yourself, I too am planning on leaving, and like you, am awaiting processing of paperwork by a foreign bureaucracy. All the best to you. You should seriously consider El Salvador. I moved here in late 2022. Best move I've ever made! The people are very genuine and the President is World Class!\n\nSafest country in the Western Hemisphere! Easy residency process. Easy to move money in and out of El Salvador as ₿itcoin is legal tender. A great expat community and tons of support from them.\n\nI arrived here by land with three dogs. Really didn't have a plan. My tourist visa was about to run out after 180 days so I applied for residency. 30 days later I was a temporary resident of of El Salvador. No taxes on property ownership. No taxes on income sourced from abroad. This is the ideal location for digital nomads.\n\nYou can grow your own food here very easily even with a small yard. Tons of things to see and do. It's ideal.\n\nA very tiny country with a very big heart. Do some research on Nayib Bukele, the President, and El Salvador itself. The country is appropriately named. The English translation is - The Saviour.

Leaving is the worse thing you can do . Stand your ground . Do you know how many people are leaving and finding out that countries are starting to kick out none citizens . So I ask are you deceiving people or are you misguided . The same organization is running the whole world . I suggest you find Jesus because the end is obvious . Justin Trudeau and the liberals have destroyed this Country. I was born and raised in Canada in a town in Ontario along one of the Great Lakes Lake Erie. My parents and even their parents were born and raised in that same area I am from and Canada was a great place but since Justin Trudeau become PM everything started to change and not in a slow unnoticeable way it was fast. Drugs and homelessness started to become a thing something I have never seen in my life and even my neighbourhood and town started to change too with people that don't speak english and wait times in the ER started to be so much longer and even finding a doctor when I moved to the city was impossible to get. I have not traveled much only in a car or truck and never been on a airplane but I am considering moving out of Canada too. I am going to wait and see what happens in the election and see if things begin to charge before I leave the only place I know and start new somewhere else. I have been thinking of Southeast Asia like Laos or Thailand because there Canadian funds are worth something and you can live and at for very cheap and get a very nice place for half or less of what rent is here.

I was actually thinking about moving to Canada. But the last few months and countless videos of people getting the hell out of there has put me right off. The whole Western world is in free fall and those in current power seem hell bent on bringing us all back to serfdom in a weird one world government which seems to be the way things are heading. Canada's GDP per capita has been decreasing for quite a while now. The only thing keeping Canada's GDP up is the very high immigration. Without it, Canada would be in a recession right now. This is why, even though the stock market might show growth, most Canadians (and Americans) don't feel it -- because the economy isn't doing great for most people in reality. At least there is some solace in the fact that, once the recession really hits, there is bound to be a recovery.

Issues abound mo matter where you are but really life in Canada for many is easy, comfortable and rewarding. For many of us it's as great as ever. That's not to minimize people's struggles, but again that happens everywhere (unfortunately). Theres no evidence to suggest there are any specific things happening in Canada that make it any better or worse than it has been in the past.

for those who say i the coments that a country needs to be monoethnic to be safe one question remains. How do legal migrants who go to work there make the country unsafe? I'm portuguese, we have many people from different ethnicities, and we are the 4th safest country in the world. You don't need to be monoethnic to be safe. In our case it would be historically innacurate with all the portuguese speaking countries around the world that have adopted most traces of the portuguese culture. Our country hasn't been monoethnic since the 1600s. One thing is not wanting illegals to cross easily another one is the blatant hatred and discrimination that I see in the comments.

The sad thing is it’s women feminists and weak men across the west who have voted in the liberals in their countries and the left has decimated the economy the medical system the legal system and the divide between rich and poor male and female white and black is a gaping chasm \nUnfortunately I don’t see any improvement in the future unless people vote differently

Alina hasn’t figured out yet that all countries of any consequence are run by the same syndicate. They control the puppet politicians and the fake political parties. Canada is still benefiting from its previous homogenous culture and economy but now things are deteriorating rapidly. This situation will continue to get worse unless people overthrow those who have been in power in both fake parties and place limited government, anti immigration, individual freedom advocates in their place.

I intend to leave at my retirement, in 5 years. I've been prepping since 2014, as I knew this would happen. People are still not understanding what is happening, even those watching this. Start watching finance videos... Things are about to get very bad, and I say this in 2024.

It is interesting your point of view. I do not get it, because I see a beautiful woman with all the skills, soft and intelligence to do great things. As an immigrant, I clearly have enough experience to say this: With all your privileges in Language, race, beauty, and gender, it is difficult to understand why you leave Canada. It happens to so many people from all over the world to want to move to another country. Nothing wrong with that. It's in our human nature to always wander / wonder about. It's the same desire that has got MAN to where we are now. Flying to the moon. Exploring the outer reaches of the universe. And many other things - big and small - in between, like the internet, Youtube, Airplanes and Jets ,Facebook and Smartphones.... I wish this lady all the luck. In a lot of ways I envy her. I dream of seeing many many places (although I have done a significant amount of travelling also). She has actually done much more because she followed her heart whilst not losing her head.

I think all things are possible when you are young and healthy. As someone with an unexpected chronic disease that showed up in my 40s I'm on immunosuppressants that are very costly. Thank God the gov't here covers them. With treatments every 6 weeks I have no freedom to leave. While that's taken care of, access to a family doctor or emergency care is horrible. Waiting a month for a doctors appt or having to spend 10 hours in emergency is not okay in a developed country.\n As a citizen you have Canada as a safety net, so its no big deal if you move and don't like it. I'm not sure where is safe in the world right now. A lot of people moved to Equador, and then boom the violence got out of control. Just my thoughts on things.

That means, sometimes, moving to new country as well. \nGood decision !!! You can always come back when you feel things are better.

Instead of Looking else where for the labour why cant Germany train its youth. Even though the population is low lot of German youth dont even complete a bachelor let alone masters . If Some thing is for free people dont realise it’s importance. Make it mandatory for students to study till bachelors make them involved in business

Germany is simply not worth the struggle you have to go through to do anything here. I wonder how soon it will be the situation where we will have to fill a from to even buy groceries. If people move here for the free education, get it and if you like how things are here then stay(no one can make you understand your worth) otherwise get the education get whatever you can and leave wherever you get the best opportunity. \nAt the end of the day you don't have to feel anything towards Germany or their problems with population or lack of skilled immigrants or anything.\nDo the best for you, health is more important than anything (mental health).\nI simply don't think the mental stress to navigate everything here which is exponentially fueled by the language terrorism they bring to the table is noooot at all worth it.

Yes, Germany needs qualified workforce. What we don’t need is millions of unqualified workforce - and the protests shown in the video are against those. So the video mixes things up.\n\nAlso, learning the language of the country is the most normal thing. People coming to Germany and expecting to find a job without speaking the language (except maybe in multinational companies - but small- and middle-sized companies are the majority in Germany) is just naive.

Precisely because of the reasons mentioned at the end of the report, plus the number of people leaving for greener pastures more than doubled after 2015. One thing about language skills is Germany needs people but they make it so hard to learn language here. Is it by Design? Or they are just ignorant because of their stringentness? Either you can work (that is temporary) and make a minimum living or stay on the road and learn language (which is also not possible withoutmoney). It is not very accomodating in that sense.

A boat can only hold so much before it sinks. Canada already had a big housing and unemployment problem. I know people would love to be altruistic but you will end up drowning. It’s the same thing in the US and Europe.

Because Canadians are seeing their country disappear in front of their eyes. For a country with such a massive landmass, Canada's population is microscopic. If mass migration goes unchecked for just a few generations, Canada won't be Canada any more. The maple leaf will be replaced by a crescent moon... The same thing is happening all over western countries, and it is being done on purpose against the wishes of the majority. Mass migration from African and Middle Eastern countries is changing demographics at a frightening pace, and people are rightly concerned by that. It's completely reasonable and sensible for one to want to preserve one's culture and national identity. People have fought and died for thousands of years for such things. \n \nThe fact that so many cultures and nations exist around the world is one of the things that makes our planet interesting. It's why people travel. If I go to Japan, for instance, I want to feel the difference in the way of life, but if Japan suddenly opened its door to mass migration, I wouldn't any more. So Japan doesn't open its door to mass migration, and what would you know? Japan still resembles Japan.

Too bureaucratic, no foreigners in the higher echelons of management, latent xenophobia (even in medical field!!!), overpaid but bad public transport. The only good thing is that the wages are OK, not too low but still comfortable. I would advise people to seek their future in the Nordics or NL.

Canada was warned. It fell on death ears. The USA is doing the same thing, making people poorer.

So, this dude toward the end seems to think that supply and demand don't mean anything (everyone's money spends equally) and that bad things or decisions from the '80s and '90s somehow will be made better by flooding the country with immigrants? That is how fantastical these people think.

I am a senior developer from Brazil living in Berlin since 2022, I have lots of friends from other countries too and the most frequent complainings are about the inflation on living costs, mainly about how hard and expensive it is to get a decent place here. There is a feeling that people are not feeling that safe here too, but still safer than most of other countries around the world.\nAt the end, money talks louder. If you are having a good life and are being able to save something you feel great, if you are just living to cover the expenses the small things starts to feel bigger than they are.

I find it hard to believe that these migrants are having an easier time getting into Canada than the US. I've been to Canada 6 times as an American tourist and except for my recent trip up there to see the eclipse, the officers always asked at least 4 questions about my trip and plans like where I'm staying and one time how much money I had. One time when I went they did that 'secondary inspection' where they look through my luggage and enquire about items (in my case several electronics which most people travel with). These people who are going to Canada probably have enough money for a typical weeklong trip and probably have hotel reservations, etc. Other things immigration officers ask often is what kind of work you do and when you are due to report back to work, as well as who you live with. They want to be sure you have ties back home.

Never voted right but there's a kind of immigration that is happening now in the West that is simply tearing at the stability of things. Even here in Portugal, it's getting out of hand. The people in the govt and mastermind behind this act on US , Canada, UK and countries that opened their borders intentionally executed this mass shift of people of the neighboring country to move. This is not coincidence and was not their intent, I believe was just a decoy and were not acting on what is infront and evident WHERE ARE THE CHILDREN that crossed the border should be on the top 3 things that needs an answer, the problem is people on each country simply look the other way till their daily lives are affected but its too late or they themselves have is missing someone.

Immigration is one thing asylum seekers is another thing I work in a bank and you should see the money that these people get I have seen where they are living on $7000 a month and they also get the child tax credit of $2500. They are living better than me working full-time.

Hi Abhu n Niku,\n\nI always love your fact based information. I wish you did more of surveys or interviews of Indian immigrants in Canada. Ideally different people from different states in India have different experiences in Canada. Plus previous qualifications, some students here do not even get up and go to college or university to attend lectures and we blame Canada for not giving them jobs. Blame Indian movies that show 2 extremely opposite sides of lifestyles of immigrants in Canada. Either as high profile business people as if they own the country or as poor labourers with 2 or more sharing a common room in a basement. Improve the perspective of people by improving the quality of movies based on immigration to western countries. You can find students who got job, car and house in Canada in 5 years and you can also see students who unfortunately couldn’t do so much. We cannot generalize things.

This should not be right because why are we not OK? I understand different parts of the world has things I’m born Canadian as far as my family and millennia and Canada were third generation here in Canada with Caribbean European and American descent all that being said I don’t care how people comes to Canada ?? but we should get the best of the best and I feel like Since they have a job since I work with the airline, why can’t they just apply for a transfer? Well a father and son in Toronto were just arrested for planning bad things. JT allowed over 60 of these types of people into our country with no tracking at all because according to him “that’s not what Canadians do.” Never forget that JT wanted to force Canadian citizens to be tracked during his mandates.

Same thing in the USA, same thing in UK, same thing in Ireland, same thing in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, France, etc ............. It is not the immigration policy problem.. It is the quality of people who are being considered for immigration (based only money now a days unlike in the past). In the 70s & 80s it is Ph.Ds, Highly technically qualified people around the world who were given Immigrant visas/citizenship... But these days, all junkies from war torn nations, third world criminals and their children (with money) getting into Canadian universities. Earlier, Universities used to conduct exams at off shore centres and select candidates but now a days it looks like Universities are bankrupt and ready to take in anybody with money thanks to agents of these education institutes( These agents make even a Donkey with money Qualify for university admission !) Those who get into these universities are more interested in all other things except Studies....So Quality immigration is more important than Quantity imigratikn. Hope Canadian Govt will take a critical look into this aspect. We xan not see developed cojntries having this anarchy on the streets on a daily basis.

When my kids were in high school, the student population at their school was 84% Punjabi. Nice kids, nothing against them, but that says to me that, given the severe crisis in housing and the cost of living, we maybe ought to make things livable for the people who are already here (regardless of whether they were born here) before inviting a lot of new people to come and put more strain on the system

Yesterday, the CNE Job Fair was 5,000+ people pack... The funny thing is, these people are Black South Asian... So yes, that's too overwhelming to the immigration law...

Man I can't believe things are always getting out of hand. Everyday every week it's always getting out of hand. Someone told me the other day, the homeless people in traffic asking for money are getting out of hand. Even though there's been tent cities for at least 8 years now. Seems like it's going to be getting out of hand for years and years and will never actually be bad. ?

Its the same law in usa. Asylum can be granted to anyone that enters the country, legally or illegally. Not saying this system isnt abused. There are obviously people who lie and get asylum based on fraud. But to those people who legitimately came to Canada, usa or other western countries based on actual risk to their life from the govt i think its not really a bad thing to welcome them. People who commit fraud should obviously be deported tho.

Here’s the thing they’re not being honest completely. The problem is also the mass migration, but it’s also the leaders they are actually doing this for nefarious reasons. There are obviously people that are not involved, but the people at the top are doing this to replace Canadians as well as Americans they’re trying to uproot our way of life to disrupt it to destroy it. They want control. That’s really what the truth is, you’re being too nice about it and if you don’t get tougher and be realistic, you guys are gonna be gone because they will approve and they will ignore you. They will give away your country debt. Canadians have blood for all those benefits and they’re gonna give it away because the scumbags that are in charge have been bought off off.

So according the Guardian, when the Canadians complain about immigration it's a real problem deserving of serious scrutiny, but when English people do the same thing - and are in a far worse situation - they're far right. How does that work again?
