As a year 2000 immigrant and 67 years old retired that had to go back to work to survive, I give newcomers to Canada one simple advice : GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE...things are going to change in only one direction WORSE.

Before moving please make sure what you would be doing in a new country for living? Will you be able to manage until you pickup your earnings. You have kids!! will you be able to pay for their educations, house rents, medicine if necessary etc. so on and so forth..\n\nBut one thing i wanted to check many Indians are moving to Canada for a better life, i''m little surprised to see you moving out of Canada, why don't you guys try jobs in IT companies? They pay well and it should solve your major problems, the winter thing you can control by using heaters and Government thing i think it would change after sometime.. I respect that your intentions are pure and you want the best for your children. I’m an Australian convert and have lived in Pakistan and Saudi also. There were positive and negative in all 3 of those places but by far feel that Australia is the best place to raise children. In Pakistan, twice while wearing full black abaya and hijab I had men try to grope me. I have a teen daughter and she enjoys certain levels of freedom here but I wouldn’t let her walk out of the house in Pakistan. Saudi was safer than Pakistan but had its own issues. You likely won’t agree with all the governmental decisions in any country you go to. I don’t agree with the government decisions of any of the 3 countries I mentioned above, if that’s a reason to leave a country then it’ll be a problem everywhere. Sorry it’s counter to your point but just sharing my experience. The grass isn’t greener. Oh and one other thing o noticed, in these countries your kids witness “Muslims” doing terrible things and it’s really difficult to explain.

I think things might get better when we have our new common sense PM, the current one is just so incompetent, I will for sure leave this place if he gets re-elected in 2 years. But looking around world, can anyone suggest me a non-third world country with high income, reasonable cost, good education and decent climate, preferably English speaking. I appreciate the way you present the reality. One way to cope with salaries and taxes is to open you own enterprise. This is the canadian way of growing fron a wealth point of view. As a person leaving from a salary, it is still possible to grow depending on your skills. But beggining your own business to exploit your skills will make you 'fly' to the next level, which is the actual way of growing. It took me a lot of years to realice this. Just think about it, provinces allow medecins to incorporate what means that they will pay less taxes and become richer sooner. This is just my thought, other people may think in a different way, I just try to give positive ideas.\n\nSecondly, Canada is still a country to live in a bit better than other countries considering many things happening around the world. I agree with many points you have made in this video but, I want to point out one thing about Canadians (and most western cultures)- they have an egalitarian view of society and are much less selfish as compared to Indians. Take that instance you mentioned about that Canadian woman who was waiting with her child in the emergency ward - unlike Indians she knew that there was another person whose situation was more dire than that of her child so she willingly waited for her child's turn to be looked at by the emergency doctor. But, in the case of Indians they will not have the grace to wait quietly for their turn.

In 20 years Canada will be Chinese and India owned and Canada will cease to be. I lived in B.C 30 years ago, no one speak English then, I am in Alberta now and am starting to see the same thing. We are not a melting pot anymore. Get ready for a official language change.

It's obvious that you have never lived outside of Canada. Canada is probably one of the last countries in the world that accepts people for who they are and has a decent level of respect for belief systems. I get that you want to raise your children in a better environment, but trust me when I tell you this... you are walking into a world of disappointment. Canada itself is about 15 years behind other countries when it comes to this downwards spiral you are speaking of. Sadly, you will find out soon enough that this utopia you want to find, simply doesn't exist and you will discover you have left the variable comforts and safety of Canada behind. I'm not trying to burst your bubble, but am simply sharing what I discovered when I searched for the same things. I think L. Frank Baum said it best.... if I ever go looking for my heart's desire again, I won't look any further than my own back yard. If you are lucky in life you will discover that the world doesn't stop turning for you, and that the world that you dream of for your children must be created from within. That being said, it is good to travel and trying different ways of living is a wonderful education for your children. I visit Canada regularly since the late 90th. I saw a steady decline in the last years. Get rid of Trudeau and his bad politics. The sad thing is that this happens to many western countries. Currently I live in Germany. The loss of wealth and confidence due to damage done to the economy by the current government is mind blowing. People are angry. Visiting the Netherlands, Britain, France - everywhere I go in the west it’s the same. People are fed up of leftwing ideology, identity politics and high taxes.\nThe west needs to wake up. \nPeople are leaving for other places.\n\nIf one is good in his job, one can live a good life in many places. Respecting people's rights to choose what they believe and practice - but saddened that so many people\nfollow religions and do not truly research the symbolism, the history, the connections - no one should \nbe attacked for wearing a head covering etc - at the same time Muslims, like many other religious\ngroups just follow what the leaders say - and - if they truly researched they would find out that \nfollowing men and clerics is not wise and not even what our Creator wants for us.\n\nI was raised in a large world wide accessible religion - then, when I saw and heard things that\ndid not add up - I prayed for truth and then pro-actively researched - I compared the teachings\nof that religion from materials with in and from out with - and drew my conclusions - I also\nbeleive that I was led to find some very useful information not of myself - I learned enough\nto make an informed decision to leave that religion. On second thought, your parents moved to a heavily Christian country. When you are the guest, you should assimilate and not try to force your religion. If it is not enough Muslim, you are doing the right thing moving to a Muslim country. However, don't complain about not enough Muslims. No one wants to hear the Musque noise 5 times a day.

We do have a bunch of muslim communities in Australia (the one's I've seen are in Sydney region) and I have heard the call to prayer, but it isn't a widespread thing. We also have schools which have predominantly hijab-wearing students (I think it was a girl's school in Sydney). But racism is unfortunately something that is common here. I wish it wasn't, because everyone deserves the right to respect and living in peace, its the most basic human right. Also as someone who socialises a lot with the lgbt and drag community I so respect your right to parent your kids as you choose. I have things I would teach my kids, and so do you. Hoping you all find the most comfy and safe home in the future.

I make more than twice the average annual income in Canada. I still struggle to save despite not spending on nice things or taking vacations. Car Insurance costs are higher than the US. Healthcare situation is horrifyingly bad. Groceries are 15% higher. Childcare costs are higher if you are even lucky to find a spot in one. Cars cost more and so does gas. Taxes are higher than the US while salaries are almost 30% lower. On top of that, you can't really claim a lot of tax credits like in the US for being married or having work related expenses. It's a punishment to live in canada these days. Unless you have inheritance from your parents, forget about ever owning a home in GTA, Ottawa, Vancouver, Montreal. I am here 10 years. One thing that was really shocking to me was how many people were sheeple right when the pandemic happened. LOVE to listen to what they are told to do! People refused to socialize and try to reach out. Young people. Well guess what? That was the beginning of bad news. I also have been surprised at the amount of people who assume all Americans are like Trump and have messed up attitudes towards Americans. I am looking forward to a better Canada. A place where maybe people can start coming up with friendlier ways of living life.

As someone who moved Canada 3.5 years ago, I agree with all the reasons mentioned. There are many things government could have done better to fight against the inflation, housing crisis, high cost of living and rise in crime and homelessness. I don't even want to mention about the taxes. Like I am almost giving half of my salary to the government yet they are still taking %13 more on what we spend on, yet I've never seen a single place where that money was used to address any of these problems. One of the reasons I moved to Canada was to have a better life style, more buying power and better future for my future kids. But at this point I feel like I am living in a zombie land. High skilled workers will have some other opportunities elsewhere but refugees and low skilled workers will be stuck in Canada and it will get only worse with the current policies.

I live in NYC, and have been to Canada at least four times, but the last time I was there was quite some time ago. I always had a good thought about Canada, because it seems like some of the problems we have in this city, Canada also has in some way. Right now the city is a complete mess; at post pandemic and with a bit of a recession and a noticeable increase in groceries to basic things like cat food and tissues. That's not the biggest problem, it really is the legislation or lack of for people who not care for themselves. Those homeless people are almost not helpable and I don't feel threatened by them, but other people definitely do. The way the government has handled these undocumented migrants is a complete disaster and couldn't have come at a worse time. We have a serious housing crisis as well, and people can end up paying for high rent, for not the best places, but they want to live in a certain location. The migrants are coming in at about 60k in the last two weeks. You see mothers with little kids or babies selling candy all over the trains and it's becoming too much. Many see it as a form of child abuse or exploitation and we do not respect it at all. I think they feel we are weak and will just pay double for something we don't need. At one station today I must have be approached 3 times and interrupted 2 times while using my phone. It's just too much and we already have a lot of immigrants here, so I'm not sure where these people believe they will find any meaningful employment and the cold is coming. I wasn't born here, but came legally as an infant. I think the border situation is a disaster and it's obvious to a lot of people that the government lets things happen that will definitely effect citizens in the next couple of decades. The city is crowded enough and I do not know where this is all going, people do not want undocumented migrants house a few hundred feet from a childrens school. I just don't understand how they let this happen....I guess this is how Biden does things and all the groups that cheered buses pulling in when it first started are dwindling down....they just want them passed on to someone elses responsibility, but wouldn't want them as neighborhors necessarily. It's a lot of hypocrisy here. Canada seems better in some places, and the same in others.

First of all, we should be careful with the use of the word “hijrat”. There are countries(I happen to be born and brought up in one of them) where muslims actually have a history of persecution, often resulting in riots, deaths. If you compare with Prophet Mohd. saws’s hijrat, it was a result of prosecution, suffering and life risk. Relatively speaking, sometimes our first world problems may look big, but they’re not really, compared to the state of Muslim lives in other countries. \nI have lived in Dubai(2 yrs), US(8 yrs) and Canada(1+ yr) and I want to say that Canada is a beautiful, diverse country for people from all faiths and backgrounds, so much better than what I have experienced living in the above mentioned countries and my own.\nThe grass is always greener on the other side and often we don’t understand these things until we experience them on our own. Make sure that you guys do extensive research in every aspect of your future lives and not just those top reasons mentioned in your video - for each of the probable countries on your list. May Allah guide you to the right path.

Much to disagree with but you are right about one thing. Canada is not the best country for you.

As someone from the US, here’s what I will say- you can find a small community or a community within a large city that will fit your needs if you look hard enough. HOWEVER, outside of that community, our larger government will never be the right fit for you, for the same reason you’ve “outgrown”Canada. “We” rarely invest in our own country and citizens, and always have “our” hands and money in other country’s affairs where they don’t belong and aren’t welcome. The government is unbelievably corrupt, out of touch, and is more focused on getting one side to hate the other side than actually making “no-brainer” steps that we all agree on to make things better for everyone. If you’re looking for a place to land for a little while I’d say a place with a Muslim community is fine, but long term your money won’t be going to places that aligns with your morals and values.

I’m Pakistani and I honestly would consider moving to Pakistan but one thing is that u gotta keep ur stuff with you at all cost because it might get stolen. Why you should move to Pakistan is because the Azan goes off when it’s time for prayer I’m pretty sure, and also just the beauty of Pakistan is amazing ❤

This is exactly why I moved my children out of America 10 years ago. We moved to Turkey and we couldn't be happier. Your list hit the nail on the head, and a big one for me too was we never heard Azan, we couldn't easily pray, halal food was an issue...all the things you mentioned. Now, me and my daughters never fear walking alone or wearing our Abaya or hijab. We are never judged here and the people are so welcoming and kind in Turkey. It was the best decision we ever made. Can’t help but see and feel the similarities between Muslim’s and Christian’s (conservatives). We are constantly vilified as well for following the Bible and not wanting our children to be around or taught perversions. Here in Michigan we have a pretty significant Muslim population and it was truly gratifying to see them coming together with the Christian’s to fight back against the indoctrination happening in our schools. Our media loves to call Christian’s all the “igot” and “acist” “obic” words, but they hold their tongues a lot better when Muslim’s are involved for fear of being seen as another type of “ascist”. lol I wish all of us (Christian, Muslim, Jewish) who follow a moral code as shown to us in our various Holy books could come together on this. There would be so many of us combined, billions! With all of us together can you just imagine how fast we could turn this deterioration of humanity around? I think we all agree that the kids should be off limits!!! If we could just all come together on that one thing, the world would change!

As a revert, born and raised here in Canada (Canadian 27yo F), this is one of my biggest wish to do my Hijra and move somewhere else. I truly want to wear the hijab and be in a muslim environment. I see Canada degrading so much and I really don’t want myself to live in this. I was thinking about the Emirates because I can easily speak English but I’ve read good things about it and also “bad” things.

Danbury Connecticut in USA area I keep seeing new Muslims base restaurants open up. Also you close NYC but far enough. Also known where Catholic Priest, Rabbi's and Imam get together and panel discussion, about issues. However, just in one high school in Danbury over 100 different languages are spoken. Do we have people that prejudice yes, but in general they dealt with. In general I feel people here like you do you, but pressure us in your way other than pressure we press back on pressure to do things your way.

Just a note, if the countries that you are considering, you have only visited as a tourist, a longer stay (maybe 6 months or so) may give you a better idea on what it actually is like.\n\nI am from (or rather, my family is, and I still have a majority of my family in) one of the countries you mentioned, and while every single thing you mention about it is true, many of the reasons you are choosing to leave Canada for is also applicable, though it may not be apparent to a visitor.\n\nPulling out and setting new roots are never easy, even if it may be the right choice. I am Canadian bro, can't agree on your points. Canada is best place to live, I am also Muslim AH, never face any sort of discrimination. i moved from Dubai, and the place where i live i can see more hijabi womens than Dubai. Even my kids pray in public schools no one stop them. This is one of the best diverse country, where everybody respect their religion. Can't agree on inflation part either, just came from US from vacation, i must say we have better Halal options and prices, all things are way too much compare with Canada. Regarding your weather point, that's the story in most of the countries, Middle east is so hot(UAE, KSA, Kwait etc), you can't do any outdoor activities over there, except shopping in indoor malls, same like winter here. Even in US also there are only few states where you can find some ideal weather, apart from that all states are extremely cold or hot....

I leaved in Canada for over 20 years and noticed the drastic changes you mentioned. I still have 4 of my kids in Canada, They are grown up and have their own families now. As I traveled to few places for professional raison I always been on family status because I wanted to be close to my wife and 6 children. The best place I liked is the sultanate of Oman. It’s a conservative Islamic environment and people are very respective, very nice and welcoming. The only thing that bothers a bit is the heat in summer time but other than that it’s the best place in the world. By the way 3 of my children are planning to leave Canada to one of the gulf countries and I wish them good luck. May Allah guide you to the right path and place to rise your kids and practice your faith at ease.

We made Hijra with our 4 children to Egypt almost 2 yrs ago Alhamdulilah and it has been the best decision Alhamdulilah. One thing you will hear from most people sisters in Particular we feel free here to practice our Deen Alhamdulilah. It’s Allah’s blessing to make Hijra for his sake. May Allah make it easy for u ameen and May he make you settle in a country that will get you closer to him ameen ya Rabb ?

Please wherever you go, do not come to Pakistan. Even we hear and love Azan on speakers throughtout the day but the political conditions here are so perverse and uncertain that no one's safe. The leadership, political and military, have sold their imaan for the gain of this world. Outlook is very bleak but we Alhmadolillah put our faiths in Allah SWT and understand that He has a plan. But we are used to living in these conditions and will survive inShaaAllah. However, I really do not wish for my brethren in Islam to move here in good faith only to be disappointed. \nI have heard good things about Oman. And of course Dubai is a good option for you guys. Salam aleikum, I am European who twenty years ago accepted Islam alhamdulillah. I was a student at university when I first met practicing Muslims and during my year abroad in Canada I got to experience the Muslim community and made the decision to accept the truth. It actually makes me sad to see that Canada goes down the way you described. I like the Canadian people and have beautiful memories from the time I spent there. \n\nAs a European Muslim I also started considering hijra. But my case is a bit complicated: I am the caregiver of my two parents who suffer from ALS and dementia ? As they are totally dependent on my presence, practically I cannot leave....but I also feel the negative things as you described them for Canada. With maybe one exception: our winters are milder and I enjoy our summer. When I travelled to Saudi ,Turkey and Morocco: I liked all of them, but the weather was just too much for me ?

Why don't you demand that Congress fix this problem? Where are the nation's problems solved? Isn't it in Congress? What if Congress carries out immigration reform and changes the laws so that no one comes illegally and creates a program similar to Canada's? Do they think we are all idiots who don't know how things work? The fault lies with both parties in turn.
