I have respect for you for this post and the Indians thats been living here for years, i say good riddance to the new Indians thats been coming here

Time to move on I guess. Canada is rated quite highly in terms of places to live, the reason so many people want to immigrate here. Years ago vacation meant a car trip probably a few hundred kilometers from home, and that's only if mom or dad could afford it. Now if people can't go on a tropical vacation 3 times a year they cry. We had one car, not 2 or 3 fully optioned like today. Good luck on finding somewhere better, and make room for people who want to be here.

I am so thankful I have Greek and Macedonian citizenship. As soon as I'm done with my education, I'm moving back to Greece or Macedonia, somewhere there are hardly any Indians. I literally get lucky to see 4-5 white, black, or latinos a day in my city, the rest are all Indian, Pakistani, and Arabs. I don't feel like I'm living in Canada anymore, I feel like I'm living in the Middle-East. I only have 2 more years of university and then if I don't go to Greece or Macedonia, it'll be because there's too many Middle-Easterners there too, and I will go someplace like Korea or Vietnam, where there are practically no Middle-Eastern people. Sorry, but you're right about them being rude, and they act like they're entitled to everything. It's disgusting and I've had enough. The problem will only get worse even if we shutdown immigration, because there are so many here already, and they don't have kids, they have litters of 5-10 children per family. Soon the whole country will just be Middle-Eastern, just give it a few decades. If you can get out of Canada and go someplace else, I suggest you do now, before it's too late.

I had blue card, I applied for PR(Niederlassungserlaubnis) card. They took 1 year in giving me PR card, i followed up multiple times and each time same answer it is in process, advise me to be patient. On day of my PR card collection appointment I asked why it took so long. Reasons they gave me- we are running short of staff, my colleague had corona, I was sick on sick leaves.\n\nThe other thing I don't like is this Rundfunkbeitrag (radio and broadcasting fees) of 18.36 euros per month(220 euros per year) which is mandatory for everyone, it does not matter if you have television or you listen radio, use their newspapers or not.

The last few years have also shed a bright light on India's reputation with scam-calling centers etc., too. As it happens more and more in Canada now, with Indians being arrested for it. Canadians now are often viewing Indian men (and I stress the word men) as untrustworthy and $ greedy. \n \nSome Indian students have strong ties to Canadians, not most. I bet the protesters with their signs accusing Canadians as being racist don't have such ties, because if they did they would know its horrible to call one of the most tolerant societies in the world racist. \n \nWhy does Canada have to own missteps and make inspiring changes while India doesn't? Diplomatic relations, but only at Canada's expense? \n \nIf Canada keeps the students will they proceed forward honestly? Or will Canada be letting in a wave of demanders and scammers? You tell me? Heck even Indians who immigrated to Canada decades ago don't trust many Indian newcomers. Why?\n \nDoes giving current Indian students PR (because they were 'victims' via India) help Canada solve Canadian problems (that exist because of the student PR mess)??\n \nI know Canada made some mistakes. And I know some Canadians turned greedy too. But you tell me why, after 50+ years of Canadians loving multiculturalism and immigration and acceptance of so many from all around the planet (and after a world pandemic) Canadians are primarily (by a wide margin) upset at Indians. well, if they were there for school, not sure how many completed it, or just went to work and whatever... While a lot of what you have said is true, we do not agree that these are people from varied areas within India. To clarify, it is 75% Punjabis+Sikhs, 24% Gujarathis, and the remaining 1% distributed from all other parts of India. Indians have shown themselves as the most uncultured of all the population across the world. The lady is not wrong about the pooping incident. There have been Indians here my whole life. They were very respectable, hard working and educated. They integrated well into Canadian society and contributed. The past 10 years or so we have been flooded with Indians and Middle Easterners who refuse to integrate and have a taking mentality. It’s making Canadians very angry and resentful. It's about time!!! The Harper Conservatives opened the floodgates of immigration with the TFW program and then the Liberals opened those floodgates even further. Immigration should be limited, based on available housing and available jobs. Me and my husband were considering moving to Vancouver ten years ago. Soon we realized that we wouldn't be able to make enough money to support the same standard of living as we are used to in our home country, Hungary. This summer we spent our vacation in Toronto and Vancouver, and it was a wonderful experience. However, prices went up, housing is insane. Even though we both work in IT and have connections, it seems impossible to get a salary enough for rent and food, not to mention mobility. Healthcare is also a factor. \nI hope we'll be able to visit Canada again someday though.

It saddens me that I don’t see our own teens and workers in food service and other services now. Where did they go? Before you saw a mixture of all races in the workplace.
