That's very interesting. I've lived in South Korea for the past 35 years and, in many ways, have enjoyed a privileged life here. After the COVID outbreak, II quit my job and traveled all around the world, including 1yr staying in Toronto. During that period, I experienced firsthand the inflation and social challenges Canada was facing. After much thought, I came to the same realization as you—I need to leave my home country. Ironically, I’m about to move to the very place you're leaving.???I admire your courage in embracing this new challenge and hope you find a place you'll truly love. I’d like to share a humble opinion I’ve thought during my travels and followed news from everywhere. The surging housing price, cost of living, homelessness, social unrest, and immigration concerns are global issues, particularly in so-called developed countries. I believe these aren't just problems unique to Canada but part of a wider systemic issue. Every society is attempting to tackle these problems in its own way. There's no perfect haven, so it’s crucial to consider whether a society's approach to solving these issues aligns with your own values. This is especially important for those of us looking for a new place to call home. By the way, I'm really curious to see where you'll settle down. keep posting on that. Cheers to you.??

I see a lot of comments which are mostly against the international students and are some racist as well. I can understand the pain of Canadian and i am also a canadian now (immigrant), It is a total mess created by the government where government used international students as the cash cow from past 7-8 Years. Its the fault of both sides but the major culprit is the government. I was a also a new immigrant to canada in 2012 and I thanks alot to the open arms welcome for the immigrants by the canadians but when you put a pinch of salt in food its taste good and its was all good until 2015-16. but the government started putting the full carton of salt in small bowl of soup which made the food bitter now not just for the canadian generation but the immigrants which moved to canada before 2016. I hope in the next coming years things will change for canadians. In the last I would, If someone don't wants to welcome me in his home then I should not enter to his home. we should respect that where ever we should go not just canada, it applies to any part of the world and to everyone.

Trudeau govt should take accountability for allowing the sham schools to admit the students on part time courses and allow students to seek employment instead of studying. Most of the crappy schools don’t have the resources to handle.

56 years in Canada, live on the west coast the best part of Canada. I would move to the USA in a heartbeat. It is a better nation, more prosperous and affordable. I live in Arizona in winter, love it a LOT. It is generally friendlier when I am in the US than in west coast Canada which is more reserved with less sense of humour (but Ontario and east coast have legendary senses of humour). Health care is scary bad in Canada, a much better value in the US even though it costs more.

That was the biggest mistake of Trudeau , this crisis will not be solved easily. They don't came here for education they came here for jobs, Trudeau took Indian burden and put it on Canadian kids future, our kids can not get part time jobs to pay off their student loans

?? Indians are Responsible. They make all streets dirty even pooping everywhere bringing all shitty Indian festivals and political issues to Canada. If you leave an Indian passport and take a Canadian one be a Canadian not Indian shit. Respect the country and be part of that

All part of the plan. These protesters are being paid and/or trained by leftists. It's obvious the Indians didn't make the signs. They don't speak English well enough to understand the ideology behind the signs! India is a sh**hole dump and they are making Canada this way as well. The lefties who are helping with this nonsense have never been anywhere outside Canada and don't understand how bad it is in most other countries. Living in Canada is like living in an international airport. It's exhausting. No common culture or values anymore. Just a mess. #trudeaumustgo #noglobalists #savecanada #wokenonsense

This documentary is very informative. People often judge these students quickly, but it's important to look at the bigger picture to understand their real stories. Great job on this. The final part, when her father spoke to her, really brought tears to my eyes.

And homegrown Canadian students have been getting the short end of the post-educational system for years - in a large part so Canadian universities can attract and pay for ‘big name’ academics who demand big salaries. It’s all about money and prestige and our students are at the bottom of that food chain. It’s a national disgrace.

I suppose JT is counting on Canadians to remember his attempt to fix this situation, NOT the part where he caused it in the first place.

Of you invite immigrants to fill a demographic hole that has been forming for 30 years you need to provide incentives to companies to build anywhere but Toronto. The government has neglected this and so now tens or hundreds (500) thousands of migrants have landed in and around Toronto because that is where the jobs are. Immigrants are NOT the problem, please don't blame them, they are just looking for a better life. Its the poor planning on the government's part that has failed.

How can you go to another country , want to be part of that country and not learn the language, If you cant make an attempt to be part of Canada by learning the language then you dont deserve to be here. How can you be educated here and get jobs here after graduation with poor to very poor English skills. On a work site this is a safety issue and can not be overlooked, If this is what our university's are teaching then it goes without saying that they are failing Indian students If roles were reversed how far would I get in India speaking only English?

When I was in college, Indian students were my nightmares for group work. Many of them kept silence until the previous day of deadline, and said they wanted to take part; some others would say at the beginning that they needed to work in the day so they had very limited time for the work and brazenly begged to slack off. Thanks to the assistance of AI, I was able to finish the whole project on my own and told them f**k off in the last minutes.

even tho Trudeau has his part of responsability, there is an objective reality that he cannot really control alone, its called inflation, which is worldwide right now, and as much as i think hes not fit for the job anymore, we have no better choice currrently (who can possibly win)

Just after reading comments from some Germans here, it really feels like that racism, chauvinism and zero-sum thinking are just a part of their mentality. They seem to believe that foreigners working in their country shouldn't have any voice, because having independent thinking or claiming some rights means abruptly that you aren't integrated.\n\nMany of them feel like foreign workers shouldn't even be given opportunity to come to Germany in the first place, because supposedly average German doesn't benefit from having larger workforce or higher productivity.. which is pure economic and sociological non-sense ?\n\nTight housing market plays now against immigration narrative, but that's caused also by inferior construction speeds, high interest rate, higher cost of materials and by the labor shortage.
|

This is what happens when you dont have variety of foreign workers and you dont consider the culture. If you bring a million from one rural part of a specific country, they will gang up and make demands and the Punjab are famous for this even in India. This will happen again, Canada is a big, empty country with a small economy and low birth rate ( mostly due to cost of living and family law being unfair to men and alot of them are avoiding women unlike other places I have been to, too much headache not much reward)

I find it hilarious they try to use native affairs from the past as a standing point but have never experienced it or was raised in it or had family members who were part of it in Canadian history. Something they are being taught in school that people of a certain demographic are all responsible for doing. \n\n Personally never seen eastern indians at any kind of Native function or area.

Illegal & Asylum seeker should not be given permanent residency ever in another country full stop \nElse what happened UK will happen every part of the earth. So lesson is does not matter which country they are from Middle East or Indian or Asian all the same even student visa on work all must be strict on work also CASH must be stopped to stop drug dealers and Bank & Polician can take full control of human living each country streamline funds only via notes not cash handling must only way good economy & Finance

These immigrants need to fix their own countries. Too many unskilled, uneducated people here that have no interest in becoming part of our country and culture.

Aren’t they international students? Isn’t part of their paperwork them agreeing they are not immigrating? Why is it he’s saying he’s an immigrant there for a better life if he’s a student then?
|
| 2024-09-09 | 0 |
This is sad, even on the part of the migrants. Giving false hopes. That's the ugly side of Politics. Speaking for a cause, with no SUBSTANCE. Its also cheating the population in a large scale.

It’s pretty bizarre that the so called sophisticated part of the world thinks it’s alright to fund destroying others peoples lands and then expect others who had no part in it to take care of the refugees or the price of it .if my neighbour would smash someone else his car do I have to pay for that? This is ridiculous

UK, France , germany and now Canada thought that they could run a country by importing terrorists from radical Islam, as they constitute cheap labour who can work tirelessly in cold weather as the local people also have become lazy, well this has worked for sometime, but in the long term, they might find themselves as part of ISIS grouping exporting terrorists to all corners of the world, good luck!

I always encouraged immigration as a big part of the country and how we became Canada was shaped by this. Rudolph has cured me of that sentiment. Good riddance ungrateful immigration is not welcome.

All that peaceful and stable diversity and mass migration. Tell me again how those from Pakistan, the Punjab and other parts of India have integrated so successfully in Canada. Tell me again how they have enriched our nation, destroyed and destabilized our housing market, supported Sikh terrorism and brought Third World Values to our nation.

Dont spread hate to all indian people.\nSome are not even part of it some are working studying hard and applying for PR lawfully and if it doesnt happen will return back to home.\nSo dont generalise evryone
|

Apparently the government is addicted to having foreigners finance the education system, which in turn means the international students who pay the highest tuition will receive a free work permit and eventually PR card as part of the deal.

Lawyers are the biggest clowns, I am an immigrant myself and I never used their services. They are part of the problem because many of them like to lie encouraging everyone to apply for different process giving hope to newcomers to stay. They get money whatsoever even the immigrants' visa process don't work out.

Study in Canada and when you graduate go home help make your Country be great and prosperous. I feel that these students only came here to escape poverty in India. I feel bad about what you are going through at the moment. Youre parents should sue those Agencies who robbed them of their money just to be able to send you here to study. Most part of it is the current Prime Minister's fault.

Go ahead, camp out there. When its January and -25 c how can you deal with the cold. At the very least, these people aren't asking for welfare handouts, they were working. All immigration should halt, from all parts of the world until Canada fixes its economic situation.

Everything you stated was spot on and very accurate. You are not only very articulate and eloquent but also very brave and sensible to bring up this topic. Hopefully, the population of Indian heritage who live in Canada take note of what you have so brilliantly stated and start to change their behavior before the Canadian born citizens get completely fed up and start throwing these people out.\n\nI am of Indian heritage who immigrated to California, USA, 50 years ago. I made a concentrated effort to assimilate into the American culture as quickly as possible and become a productive part of the American culture and it's traditions. I embraced my new home but still valued my heritage and what I could contribute to this society - tolerance and patience. Sadly, what you stated regarding this kind of negative behavior started to creep in, even here, during the Barack Hussein Obama administration (very backward man and backward values) and has steadily become worse over the past 10-12 years here in the U.S. People of Indian heritage truly have a lot to offer countries like the U.S. and Canada when these people conduct themselves in a civilized and cultured manner.

Canadian govt fully responsible for this mess \nThey should stop giving visas to outsiders \nIn India there is whole industry to send people to Canada particularly in Punjab and parts of Gujrat

Why are you so focused on international students and temporary workers? If people from Mexico stop coming to work for Canadian farmers during harvest time, no one will want to work for such low wages as they do. This means farmers would have to pay more to local workers, which raises two questions: Can farmers afford to pay more to local workers, and are you prepared for food prices to rise even higher?\nSo why doesn't Rebel News focus on all the 'refugees' who enter Canada, don't work, and receive various types of financial support? Many of them don't start working, and the same goes for their children and grandchildren.\nAlso, this narrative about 'pooping on Wasaga Beach' is part of shaping public opinion. I honestly didn’t expect that from Rebel News. I’m not a big fan of what’s happening in Canada, but it’s not the fault of Indian people. (Just to clarify, I’m not from India.)

Rest in peace all those who fought in ww1-ww2 and indo Pak war a terrible time for both sides I recently asked my father about our grandparents history he said that they were originally based in and around “Srinagar” in India and he told me that when the partition happened my great great grandfather along with 1 one spiritual imam and exactly 99 others including my grandfather a total of 100 people made migration to “Mirpur Azad Kashmir” the village name is “Chitterpari” as soon as you enter into Mirpur from Jhelum / Dina side it is located there, here my father told me that our ancestors with the imam and other 98 people were the first to settle in Chitterpari of course it was not Chitterpari at that time it was the old city of Mirpur but when the water came and washed everything away they moved abit away from the rising water. I’m sure we all have family in those parts of pakistan who are now residing in England ??????
