In 2021, I embarked on a life-changing journey with a dream to move to Canada through the Express Entry program. It was a decision that filled me with both excitement and trepidation. The prospect of a new beginning in a foreign land beckoned, and I was determined to make it a reality. The process started with rigorous research and countless sleepless nights. I gathered all the necessary documents, completed language proficiency tests, and meticulously calculated my Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. My aim was to secure a coveted Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency.\nAs the year progressed, I faced moments of doubt and frustration. The pandemic had disrupted immigration processes, and the Express Entry draws became highly competitive.\nHowever, just as I was reaching the final stages of the process, something very negative and unexpected turn of events occurred in my life. My dreams were put on hold once more, and uncertainty loomed on the horizon. Although I faced setbacks and delays, I learned that it’s life and things happen for better or worse…. We just need to accept it and continue working towards our lives …. Be it in Canada or Elsewhere…!!!??? Opportunity will come but the only thing is if we are willing to grab it….!!! Acceptance is the key.

In reality, the airlines HAS NO POWER to stop you from getting to your destination when you have a valid visa ...the only case would either be you have been banned from the country or airline.... so why are we giving so much power to these airlines??? I travel alot... I know..

A somewhat depressing video, because it's an actually accurate portrait of the city, as it is. Toronto and Canada as a whole is governed by politicians and bureaucrats, who rely on experts opinion of what could be, if x,y,z all come together as envisioned. These pixie dust ideas are often aspirational, but sadly lack a base in reality. Slogans and cheerleading don't make things happen. Rarely is there enough funding to support implementation of these grandiose ideas, and somehow these same leaders ensure they get a chunk before anyone else, cause they have a standard of living to maintain. They just really feel for the pain and suffering of those who are not them. Toronto and Vancouver used to be Canadian examples, that those of us didn't live or want to live there could still be proud of. These cities also were viewed as examples to follow by other Canadian population centres. So the same issues keep reoccurring, because in abstract theory they could work. By the time reality shows that they are not working, it is too late, and too hard, and too embarrassing to change course. \nA very interesting video by a creator who took her rose coloured glasses ( we all have a pair just admit it), and sees what is and then says it out loud.

That is sad for Toronto. However, it's the reality around north America. In the US is even worse. Even in small cities housing is starting to become unfordable. Really informative and great video.

In addition the Canadian media keeps giving the impression that all immigrants in, & those trying to get into Canada are of sub-Saharan African origin. When in reality there is an overwhelming substantial amount of foreign immigrants in Canada of east-Indian descent.

The fact that Tyler is surprised at how many people bring up school shootings as a reason to stay away from the US is a scary indication of how much this type of violence has become normalized. I'm Canadian and throughout my professional life I've spent time working in the US. In fairness, I've met some truly great people. Also in fairness, religion seeps into US politics in ways that it never does in Canada and never in a good way. Christian fundamentalism is a scary reality of US life intent as it is on heaping hate on sexual minorities and taking away rights wherever they are allowed to. An additional point, but this one is only an irritant, is how ignorant so many Americans are about the world. At any rate, I'm retired and live with advanced kidney disease and a pacemaker. For those reasons alone I couldn't afford to live in the US. Thankfully, my country takes good care of me and my provincial government (Québec) even covers most of the cost of my expensive prescription drugs.

This is where you corner all the available resources and speculate that their value is higher than what it actually is. That way, you can increase rent without the value of the house going up. Then when the rent is increased, value also goes up and then vice versa. It is a vicious cycle! In reality, house prices can go up when the people buying those houses earn more and can afford more house. These people are the vermin in the society. Note that this guy is not actually adding any value, but using connection cornering resources. CRONY Capitalism at its best.

The issue is Canada is being too selective with the countries they are taking from ( only two India and china), but it's racist to say that, the two countries with the most people in the world.... would overlap the amount of Canadians in the country with only sending like 2% of their population.... why are we immigrating a unlimited amount of people from countries that can over right our populations 1000x over. This may be accurate from presentation part, but see the actual reality, if canada is that much attractive for skilled immigrants, it should be world leader in technology or manufacturing but it is not as life is very harsh here. For most professional except IT your education is not valid or you have to go through very length process of validating your education and getting in main stream to get the job some time it takes years of continuous job like effort. Salary structure is garbage compared to USA. It is impossible to find an affordable house or apartment which you can rent, forget about buying.. Tax system is upto moon. Healthcare is broken and on top of that Black money is dumped from all over the world in real estate. Canada is a broken country and it heavily relying on international students and wealth immigrants to run their country. You are welcome here if you have shit load of money otherwise think 100 times before you come to this country.

Canada does not have the opportunities that the USA has. Unless the immigrants come from wealthy families they will likely spend decades in poverty. It’s the reality for many immigrants as the cost of living is higher than most parts of the USA. Many immigrants are actually leaving.
