It is absolutely laughable that anyone would ignore the degradation of Canada thanks to the insane immigration policies that are both exploitative and predatory. I work in a field where I speak with hundreds of Canadians a month, and the ratio of immigrant to Canadian born individual I speak to is 4:1. The problem is NOT with the immigrants but the policies, and those of us who work and pay taxes who essentially support the integration/lifestyle of some of these immigrants should NOT be shamed into hiding for expressing our concerns. Canada has to reform all immigration policies immediately. Let’s get housing, healthcare and public services in place before we allow hundreds of thousands more people into Canada.

There are no services available to me, after paying taxes for more then 40 years. It's not even just in Brampton even 1 to 2 hours away immigrant and international students take all customer service jobs to the point that Canadians can barely get hired into these roles because we have expectations and rights that we worked for and I've seen these immigrants willing to work for less than legal minimum wage and they do not stand up for themselves or work towards having any shared rights. In addition many politicians on both sides of the aisle are rental landlords so only stand to profit from low rental vacancies and cramming as many people into a small space as possible. They've also cut funding to a lot of post-secondary institutions who rely on inflating tuition cost for international students. At my current role on a team of 15 people plus one manager there are only three white people, born and raised Canadians. The rest are all Indians including the manager and will frequently talk amongst themselves loudly in Punjabi while we're trying to serve customers in the English language. That's actually against policy but Canadians are so outnumbered by immigrants and specifically Indians in this place that it never gets enforced properly. I've never been anti-immigration but it's gotten so bad in Canada especially in places like Ontario that I'm now against it and will tell anyone regardless of their skin color to avoid immigrating here. I've been on a wait list for a doctor for over 11 years, I know people who have died from cancer due to delayed referrals due to long wait list for additional screening, it's insane and absolutely ridiculous especially considering the amount of taxes I currently pay and have paid my entire life as a born and raised Canadian.\n\nAlso it's absolutely true every single one is either taking or has taken post-secondary studies in business admin or management. We don't need more people in these fields we need Healthcare sector workers and not a single one that I've spoken with which again is quite a few studied anything related to medicine Healthcare nursing... not one.

A long time ago, it used to be beneficial to go to cities where you could get a job making 5-10x the money you could in a rural town. Now it's the opposite. Current cities have reached their maximum growth because the first wavers have decided to pull up the ladder. They want their investments in property to remain high so they block new construction that would otherwise lower their house prices. And that's totally fair. They want to have the maximum standard of living and that's the best way to do it. Fair market bro. But a lot of people, especially politicians, can't plan more than 6 months in advance because of elections. Bad management in certain cities instead of looking for new markets. Medium sized cities are the next best option, since they can actually grow somewhat. The absolute best option is to get an education debt free and then work remotely in a very cheap area with all the luxuries you want.

If every state in America came together to try and help the migrants, we could do that. But we would run out of money very quickly. And then all the migrants and all of our native citizens would start fighting each other for the scraps. Left and it would be an absolute shit show

I'm from Eastern Canada and its absolutely unreal how many Indians I see around. Not a single business have I gone to in months that doesn't have multiple Indians working there, or just Indians. You'd swear they were like 50% of the population. It's crazy what its doing to jobs for locals, both post secondary and not. Let alone housing. Its insane to be in an engineering field with colleagues still living with their parents in their late 20s and early 30s. \n\nI'm very worried for the future political discourse and social cohesion for this country in decades to come if the majority of immigrants that have been brought in are not deported. I've never seen so much crime in my Province in my entire life. About 5 homicides alone in the last month. Absolutely unheard of 10 years ago.
