I do live in the U.S. for six months a year. I would move there full time if the exit taxes from Canada weren’t cost prohibitive. Canada has become a joke on the national and international stage. Talk about batshit crazy, just take a look at Canada’s loony left socialists.

The main example is BOGUS colleges that these students enroll in and the government is fine with that because they are getting so much money from just one person, in the end when the time comes the graduates don't get a job because of these non-credited institutions that they were.

Send all the illegal immigrants back where they came from. Those that want to stay need to apply for legal immigration, must be properly vetted, pledge allegiance to Canada, become Canadian, leaving hatred from their previous country behind, and cannot stay here while they wait. A moratorium on all new applications for at least 10 years. This way the back log of legal immigrants can be dealt with. Stop all new international students, put a moratorium on it for at least 10 years, stop all temporary and permanent workers. All loopholes used to illegally get into the county must be stopped. This will reduce the cost of illegal immigration and solve a large portion of the lack of housing. No more government subsidies to pay for foreign workers. This will open up entry level jobs for young Canadians. No more government subsidies for anything for immigrants. If they need government support then no, you are then disqualified from coming. No more abuse of our Canadian social programs.

Can you imagine the day will become citizens of Canada what will happen??? ????. Absolutely mess study was never on list it was just getting in Canada legal way and getting work permit then PR but everything went upside down ? that is why protesters are everywhere

I saw an interview with an immigrant who stated that Canada has no culture. It is simply fragments of cultures from all over the world. That is the problem with multiculturalism. Eventually there is no longer a true sense of national identity, only one of shared citizenship. A passport however does not create a sense of unity. A country with these conditions is not a true nation, it simply becomes an economic zone that is up for grabs by whatever demographic becomes dominate. The end result will only be balkanization.

Canada has become so ugly, it's full of sky scrapers in major cities, we have way too many Fake refugees that Trudeau let in, in large number in such a short time. The price of housing is unreal for crappy homes and apartments, the health sector is the pits, and many people don't even have a family, doctor and like you say people die on the corridor of hospital without even having been checked thoroughly at the E.R. Heavy traffic, low wages, unaffordable food prices, corruption at the highest level in the Govt., no real services for people that experience distress in this dystopia and censorship that is beyond this world. They really do not show interest or adapt to Canada. All food Indian, all movies Indian, all references are Indian. Zero deeper interest to become a part of Canada, to understand Canada and the unwritten rules, norms. In the USA you get there and become an American. In Canada you become a hyphenated Canadian. No cohesive identity. It's terrible. My little town had barely any immigrants at all. Now there are Indians everywhere. Also a massive increase in black population all of a sudden. Did Toronto get full? Canadians have started to become poorer since public healthcare policies started. This will continue regardless of immigration, although slowing immigration may cause more economic hurdles for most Canadians. Slowing immigration will be better for immigrants as well. I believe there are better opportunities for immigrants elsewhere and that is true for hard working Canadians. I think its okay to have some stuff of every culture, but some cities are literally becoming India. Brampton was taken over a while ago where every single plaza is indian stores, their places of worship everywhere, their lifestyle etc etc. its fine and all to be proud of your culture but youre getting away from your country to make another country indenticle? A lot of other cities are becoming like brampton, and the ones that arn't are really expensive to live in, ontop of that the highest crime rates in Canada are in these places.

It's a myth that Canada needs massive immigration, especially when Canada doesn't have enough affordable housing for everyone. The average Canadians aren't benefiting from immigration, only the corporations, fake colleges and immigration consultants are. I wanted so badly to become a Canadian but sadly, after living in Vancouver for 1.5 years, it became apparent that staying in BC would mean never being able to afford to start a business (let alone buy a house) and that making friends was not something locals were interested in doing. I discovered that Canadians were exceedingly polite and helpful to others in the community, but not friendly. The difference is someone being kind enough to return a lost wallet (with the money/cards still in it!! WOW) or phone but won't invite you to their homes, join friend groups, or social circles. Side note.. I also learned that I prefer more overt racism than the polite version experienced in Canada. At least you know where you stand with someone..

I went to high school in Brampton in the early 80's and there were no people from India anywhere... it was very much a white anglo town, and then I moved to Montreal for 25 years to work as a fashion designer. (I remember the shock of flying into Toronto on business and walking outside to get a taxi... there was an endless line of Indian guys wearing Turbans, waiting by their taxis. It was a very strange feeling, as I was not sure if I was in Canada or India.) About 10 years ago, I moved back to Ontario to live in Guelph and had heard the joke about Brampton becoming 'Bramladesh' by people at the dog park, and in the past 5 years, (since they built the massive temple in Guelph) the place has turned into a mini India, as EVERY house put up for sale, is bought by a family from India, with 4 or 5 cars in a 2 car driveway, (strangely, as soon as they move into the house, they all rip out the asphalt driveway and replace it with white concrete??) they seem to be a tribal people and every house is filled to capacity, as the husband and wife are with their kids, the brother and his wife and their parents, all living together. (They are friendly people and they don't cause any trouble... my only issue is the intense stench of spices from their house that fill the air 24/7 to the point that you cannot sit in the back yard or open a window, without being punched in the face from the powerful odour of spices!)

As a Canadian Veteran I don't blame immigrants leaving the country. Personally I wish I could have retired in Germany, as the present government has totally ruined Canada, they've divided the country, they're taxing the average Canadian to homelessness. Food bank use has sky rocketed, Canada has become totally unaffordable to a LOT of Immigrants and actual Canadians. a very SAD state we live in.

Nursing students who completed their studies here on CANADIAN SOIL should be the PRIORITY. I know nurses who got their education elsewhere in the world like India, finished just 2 yrs and working in Canada as a Registered Nurse, whereas we Canadians have to go to school 4.5 years to become a registered nurse. How is that fair??? It’s a fkd up system.
