I mean racism is probably a big problem in canada..\n'But as a whole I think on the defund the police I think this is a one sided piece that didnt portray any defense of the police only criticism, in good journalism you need to let someone defend themselves and bring their perspective, this type of journalism is what you get if you have a ideologically possessed 23 year old fresh out of left wing college.. Perhaps learn real journalism try to portray facts not oppinions formost.. Journalism on a news outlet like this isn't supposed to be activicism but objectively portraying facts, and also doing interviews with people with different perspective.. Good that u mentoned health care system Drew,but i think that you should've talk more about that.USA has one of the worst HC systems in the world,which means you dont have free health care and you need to pay for everything.. In Canada is totally different.We are witnessing this issue right now with Covid-19 where people need to pay around 35k $ for medicine and other stuff..

Originally from the Philippines here and once a homeless man told me to go back where I came from. I'm actually surprised he said that, I’m just a passerby.\n\nIt hurts a bit but then I moved on. I think racism is everywhere. People just don’t have the time and mental energy to understand and know each other, I guess.\n\nThat is why I’m telling my son to have a good solid ground of resilience (aka not be to be a snowflake). Life is too short to wallow on this. We came to Canada as immigrants, do not except everyone to treat you like a first class citizen. But the way you act, the way you do, and how you treat people around you may earn you respect regardless of your color, race or creed.

This is a good exersize to do. I think it could help all of us to understand ourselves and to be better people.

I'm a white guy who lived in another country that wasn't a white majority country. There is discrimination in western countries, but there are ways to deal with it. The discrimination I had to deal with every day was much more than this, but nobody wants to know about that. The way I lived for those several years was to realize that I was different and I just had to maximize dealing with good people and when I knew that I would have to deal with something like having to get an apartment, I took that countries national with me knowing I would get a better deal. I was grabbed by officers at night and threatened. basically whatever is faced here, I had on a regular basis. At first, it pissed me off, but later, I came up with a way to maximize my life to get the best treatment I could. I didn't think I would be coming back to America, but eventually, I came back for more schooling and ended up staying.

These are investment visas... generates a good deal of revenue and taxes for the people. I agree he did wrong doing and should be punished but they are portraying him like a El Chapo or some drug dealer or murderer. I think that’s excessive to harass him at his residence

Years ago I was looking for an apartment with my girl-friend and we looked at a great place and being white we didn't even think twice about being discriminated against. Oddly enough the woman (who happened to be middle-eastern) didn't want to rent to us because we weren't married. Many people throughout the world seem to have so many stereotypes about Americans. Whether it is good or bad there typically is some truth in a stereotype. Overall it seems like you are enjoying yourself and no matter what there is no place like home. I would think no matter what your current situation is you still miss Canada as I would miss the United States if I were to move to Canada. \nA couple things you mentioned in the video were not correct and as with anything there may be a little truth in the matter but yet still incorrect.\nThose who do not have health insurance are not charged or taxed $150 monthly. There is a provision in the affordable care act (ACA) that penalizes certain individuals who make above a certain dollar amount. The amount is either $150 or $300 for the entire year. I concur any monetary penalty against anyone for not having health insurance is outrageous. I could be wrong but I believe this aspect of the ACA was never implemented under President Obama and it was indefinitely suspended or revoked by President Trump. I also feel like I need to address your thoughts about the United States all about war. I believe the American people are like most other people and want peace and civility. The government and major defense contractors have differing opinions at times. Of course there is plenty of people who are war hawks but they are in the minority. Most of us are absolutely sick of war. We currently have been at war for almost 19 years. That's six complete world war 2's in their entirety. \nI think you were being awfully generous when you said obesity is on par with the rest of the world!! Unfortunately there is far to many fat people here and the problem is only getting worse because the media says be happy and proud you are fat. Celebrating obesity is absolutely insane and it sends the wrong message to young people. If a close one is fat of course I love them but I also tell them privately that they are a walking heart attack. Justin Trudeau should know that these things will only keep rising if they letting in immigrants so easily. Some people like to claim that 'we are one' but do we understand that we all come from different backgrounds. I don't know if the computer test is as accurate as it could be. I know for myself when I took it presenting the e key as bad and black and the i key as good and white then reversing it once you got in a rhythem really messed me up. There were many words that I had a brainfart and had to refer back to the labels to remember the keys. I think if it was presented in the reverse order it would probably change my results.

This is the reality of most boys/girls who go abroad thinking it as a money tree. They don't know they are going to a developed state and most jobs there are only in DINING, ENTERTAINMENT AND SERVICE sectors. Share some good jobs your mates from south Indian doing there, like in estate agents or in hospitals because they have good command on English.

Moving to Vancouver was a great experience tbh, I'm of nigerian heritage but was born in Finchley, North London...\nCanadians are friendly and extremely welcoming ( Coming from the UK i found this so off-putting ) lol. Im white I grew up in a town thats mostly black .you want to know about racism its on both sides no one called me by name its that white boy or you look good for a white boy and if i was in a store and 4or5 people asked if i needed help i would think they are doing there job or just wanted to be helpful but thats not the same thing as being followed racism is mostly a male thing from my experience

Dear video maker , it's nothing new in your life in Canada. Even people around the world including local people and local students are doing same . And it's nothing new to travel 2 or 3 hours in bus . People who stays in USA from ages are travelling same in car . Every students are expecting same life with them who are living in foreign from ages . Those people might had struggled more . Student has to understand before going on Student visa that with situations rather than keeping intrest in how to make money. 99 % students are interested in only money from day one .But foreign governments think that you have shown your financial documents, are enough for you to survive there even if you have no Job . And it's depends on the country, in which country you have gone and what is your qualification. If students go to UK or USA , thay might make little more money comparing to Canada, Australia or New Zealand. All students should understand before going to any country that only in USA AND UK country are the best to earn money and getting out money from there to india. Otherwise except these two countries none country is there in the world that you can make money there and send maximum money to india. Except these two countries other countries have made situation that whatever you earn there , you will have to spend in that country only. You can't save money to india for living good life in India. And it is good and thankful those countries where person after 18 years has go for job rather than being dependent on parents. And working in bakery with standing whole hours during job is not a new in those English country. They don't force to do that by law . This job is kind of that. Person has to understand job profile before joining the job . By English country law before you start job they will call you for induction and will explain what job you have to do . Life person is happy for that job , he / she can join the job . I think specially students has to look into positive things which in India students are not doing and thay have to do there in foreign countries. I am not trolling you but look into students life where local students in foreign are living and same. If you think this is struggling life then I can say this is not struggling life , students has to think first if they have gone for study or making money from first day. If you are complaining than my suggestion is that look into positive things and if you are just informing that it's good. Good luck

People think that living in foreign countries us good and relaxing and you enjoy a lot. Well this is not true. I have one of my friends who told me the way he lives and works and studies in Canada. Believe me, you won't like to hear what he told me. He does two part time jobs starting from morning to afternoon at 3 and does another one from 4 to 8 and he barely gets 4 to 5 hours to study. At times when there are exams or tests in the college, he has to skip the work and go to the College but when he skips, he feels from deep inside that for today I don't have even this amount of money and believe me, staying in Canada or any other county is not as easy as eating a plate of rice and on the first time when you go to look for a job, you will get it at McDonald's or any type of restaurants. And the work my friend does is to cut meat at McDonald's in Canada.

The major of London is promoting this. I don’t know why people can think this is a good thing.
