I agree. I'm Canadian and I despise every American-made food. I NEVER buy anything at the grocery that says made in the US unless it's gourmet or from a small-owned family business. America has better-looking Women due to their population size but Canadian women have better attitudes and generally are more Educated. The CBC is a huge issue in Canada. It’s funded ENTIRELY with tax dollars therefore the government decides what we watch, even if no one wants to watch it at all, and the CBC is 100% in love with the Liberal government and all of their news is blatant propaganda. Why not? The Liberals increased the CBC budget to 1.6 Billion a year of course they want to spin the news to help them especially when you consider the fact that many Conservatives want it defunded completely because they are tired of the spin. \nAnother issue is that some areas of Canada make the decisions for the rest of the country. Ontario and Quebec have large populations therefore when it comes to federal elections they basically always get their way even if everyone in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba disagrees. \nAlso, Quebec gets treated completely differently than the rest of the country. They have special deals when it comes to university tuition and child care, they have their own political party that no one else can vote for, and they force the rest of the country to have French all over the place and on everything which is mostly pointless and very few people in Canada can only speak French and can’t understand the English. The whole tax part of this vid is wrong on so many levels. Based on your analysis, I should be paying less tax in IRL than a 200k+ person living in Candada, whereas I pay almost 46% tax (40% + hidden taxes) on my income here in IRL. And, I'm not even remotely close to 200k+ salary. Second of all, most countries have similar tax and salary requirements, where your salary is always given BEFORE tax. It's pretty common practice. Lastly, many countries requires you to register your own tax every year. It' also quite a common practice. Fair enough on giving prices before tax. That sounds bit dodgy. However, few countries I lived in have a system in place that it is mandatory to give the customer the price before tax, amount of tax and after tax pay.

we moved here in 2001 because canada once was a prosperous country under the harper government. cost of living was acceptable, income taxes weren't too high, crime was low. now, canada is the complete opposite. low-middle class families being sucked dry of their finances due to carbon tax, high cost of living, and government funding ideology with tax payer money. income taxes set to go up again in 2023, extremely high crime rate, bringing in copious amounts of immigrants without reinforcing infrastucture is going to be disastrous.

I was in an incredible amount of excruciating pain because my appendix ruptured. It was the worst pain of my life. I waited screaming in the waiting room at Toronto's General Hospital, the nurses and security treated me terribly. Did someone pay you to perpetuate the LIE that Healthcare in Canada comes out of people's taxes? That's certainly the impression that you have created. BE CLEAR. Each Province has its own universal healthcare which is funded - NOT BY TAXES - by a premium paid similar to regular insurance (except there isn't anyone skimming profits off the top). For example - the Ontario Heath Insurance Plan - OHIP. As a pensioner, my OHIP premium in 2014 was $98 per year. In the US I pay 12 x 167 = 2004 - over 20 times the amount AND I have to pay the first $4,000 of cost myself. Yes, you have to WAIT after moving to Canada before you get full coverage. As a Canadian, if I came back to Canada I would have to wait 6 months before my health insurance kicks in. BUT if this were not the case sick people from all over the planet would flock to Canada for free medicine. As for the Doctor shortage that is CREATED by the Canadian Medical Association limiting the positions available in Med schools. Nobody loses their house and goes bankrupt in Canada because a family member gets sick compared to about 700, 000 Americans per year who suffer that fate. AND no children die in Canada because their parents didn't have Healthcare. As for immediacy of service - it depends on how serious the medical problem is. Few, if any, people die in Canada because they were seriously ill and were told to go home and take Advil.

Many food banks will not give food to those without a home. Many soup kitchens will only help periodically and not for every meal. Canada's treatment of homeless people and mentally people is not just disgraceful, but criminal. The general attitude of many Canadians, as taught to them by deliberate government propaganda, is that if you are poor or were abused or a victim of crime, is that they did something to deserve it. Rents across Canada are beyond the reach of the majority of Canadians, yet, Canada refuses to set up a council house system like the UK. There are no emergency homes and no emergency assistance even close to what the UK and other countries across the world provide. However, this place is nothing more than a low-level counseling center to reunite kids with their parents, who have been removed by law. Any child requiring help has to deal with just basic counselors, who are not trained in helping traumatized and PTSD kids. In relation to the First Nations peoples, if the teens have mental health issues, and if they have to be temporarily hospitalized by their parents, social workers and doctors will force joint custody with the parents, to treat the kids or remove them so they can carry on the government's crimes against the First Nations peoples. The crimes continue. In these past few months, a baby was left to die in a basket at a nurse's station in the Misericordia Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta. The mother was allegedly treated like garbage and her child was allegedly called a specimen. But this is not the only case of such abuse of First Nations pregnant mothers and their children. A case over a decade ago allegedly also took place, and the number of these cases in this hospital alone may possibly be much higher, and other hospitals may also be hiding such crimes. An infant, who was the victim of attempted murder by one or the other parent, was put in the care of relatives by social workers, who were totally unaware of the crime, but the one parent, who was put in the hospital's mental health unit, mentioned a version of what had happened, and when the relatives found out, they were allegedly reassured by the hospital that they would deal with the matter. The relatives believed, understandably, that the hospital would report the crime, but it never did. Allegedly the hospital covered up yet another crime. The police in the city, allegedly informed at some point, one of the relatives that no charges could be laid even if the child remembered as the Canadian health services do not believe that children below the age of 4 can remember anything. It was when I heard about this that I realized that the reason Canada has gotten away with the crimes against the 1st Nations, immigrants, Canadians, and who knows how many other victims, through the mandated alleged use of forced assimilation and the alleged Soviet-style education system, is because of this fake claim that children and even infants cannot remember things. Being born in Canada I was proud of our multiculturalism and believed Canada was the greatest but as an adult I don't understand why people would want to live here. I pay over 40% of my income to the government for all the things that make Canada great but it is just not that way. My taxes help pay for programs that I am not eligible for because before taxes I make too much money but after taxes my take home is the amount that qualifies for programs but that's not how the system works. I need the program because I help pay for it but can't use it because of having money that is not considered to be mine. According to the CRA the money I pay the government in taxes does not and has never belonged to me but that same government labels that tax money as mine in order to deny me the programs I help pay for. It is a good idea to leave Canada if you can. There is no future for the working class except servitude to the government.

According to the Americans I've talked to both who have moved to Canada and still live in America, Canada is far better than America. There's plenty of evidence showing the reasons Canada is the better country overall. The main amount of people who move from Canada to America are rich and/or corrupt people because why would you want to move somewhere that offers you less? There's a housing crisis Everywhere for renters coming into the market and first time home buyers. They needs to be more co-ops. I know of huge amounts of seniors living alone that have no place to go and choose to stay in their big homes because there's no other option for them, and if there was they'd prob refuse to go anyway. My mother is one she's 88. We've been trying for 2+yrs. Anything that suddenly opens up she refuses. Lives in a small city in southern BC. More Co-op's are needed.

im from newfoundland. i can say that the weather is quite bad,but the people here are real nice and our accents are hillarious to other provinces,we have strength but not so much intelligence. we also have one of the few viking settlements in north america,lanse aux meadows. aswell as a supposed viking location known as point rosee. also i should mention that newfoundland is incredibly historical just to list a few things we have:beothuks,viking settlements,4 different anscestors being france england scotland and ireland hints the hillarious accent,we also have lots of prehistoric fossils dating all the way back to 570 million bc,we also were the place that started and was one of the main reasons the french and indian/seven year war was formed,oh and dont even get me started on how much resources we have. in total we have 60 trillion cubic feet of natural gas and so much wind you could probably power all of america using windmills from newfoundland. but i dont advise you live here,its more of a historian/paleontologists dream to visit this place overall on a scale without any biasty i rate nefoundland and labrador a solid 7/10 for its amount of good jobs but its high gas prices,bad premier,bad weather,freezing tempatures,sparse and rugged land,no biodiversity and a it being a good spot for a country to invade if going to war.its not looking good for newfoundland and labrador,ESPECIALLY NEWFOUNDLAND

It's a rat race where the government benefits the most out of immigrants as they will earn huge amounts of taxes. Rather one should focus on how to achieve financial freedom through financial literacy in their own country. Only then one can achieve peace of mind and financial freedom. Everything has a price to pay, if you struggle in college, whatever the reason may be, living away from family, being alone, whatever the reason is. This is a price we have to pay for a successful future. Also, parents who really want to send their kids abroad, send them to good tier 1 European countries, Germany, France, Italy, Spain etc., US and Canada is just a slaughterhouse, the amount of money spent on a child's education there is unhealthy, universities in Germany are free, and the living expenses also aren't as expensive as US or Canada, had i known about Germany before I applied to US universities, i wouldve saved my parents a lot of money

Why? That's 5 million people every decade. Canada needs an immigration pause, to allow it to properly deal with the huge amount of immigration in the past 25 years. This only benefits the builders, the banks, the realtors etc., not the average Canadian. At this rate Ontario will start to look like Greater London, or Tokyo or some other metropolis - just a deeply dysfunctional one with crappy public transport. We didn't vote to lose the Canada that we love, and Trudeau doesn't have a mandate to destroy it. We can also kiss goodbye to our greenhouse gas emission targets with such a growth in population.

NOT against immigration, but it has to be done very carefully. Nothing in too large of amounts is ever a good thing, and I feel that aiming for a numerical goal is not the way to go, especially when you have to take shortcuts to get there like allowing anybody in.

How prepared is Canada to service this amount of people adding to a population that is already under serviced in every area of life, there's healthcare, housing etc. Our healthcare system is in the brink of collapse just trying to service the current population we have, then there's not enough better jobs to survive, even for Canadians on home soil and more people are now depending on welfare, food is dwindling, there's more homeless people than ever, the number of addicts are growing, crime is rising, I could go on and on with the innumerable problems that is not being addressed on Canada's home turf, yet the government's focus is to bring in more immigrants to Canada to feed, house and care for healthwise? Just asking.

We currently have a housing and medical crisis in this country and soon to have a food crisis as well. I doubt increasing immigration levels to these ridiculous amounts will help with that!! Too bad for people already living here I guess!!
