If Canada allows unrestricted immigration from India, Canada could end up resembling a new India with 40 million Indians—what I’d call immigration overload. Indians should focus on staying in their own country and building it up, period. If they aspire to be a world power, they need to strengthen their nation from within rather than spreading out and often bringing the challenges of India with them. India is a beautiful, exotic, and diverse country. It’s time they took control and worked towards becoming the next China, but that goal seems far off at this pace.

Now it's the time for Canada to put a cap on the number of Indians moving to Canada. Over 40% of all new immigrants moving to Canada are only from one country, India. This is wrong on so many levels.

send LMIA's, TFW, students and unskilled workers back home.. just keep skilled immigrants as they are less in numbers .. just take away their citizenship, PR and parcel them back.. we dont required indian amazon factory employees nor walmart factory employees..

Look, I'm a white Canadian, and I don't hate Indians at all. However, lately, there are far too many Indians arriving here. I live in a small town, and the vast majority of the workers in all our franchise restaurants, Walmart, hotels, etc, are Indian. Yes, some Indians really have been pooping on the beach. I've seen videos posted by Indians about Indians pooping on beaches in places like Goa. No, not all Indians do that, but it doesn't reflect well on Indians. My next-door neighbours are Indian immigrants, and stereotypically, they own a pizza franchise lol. Their children play at our house with our daughter almost every day. On a negative note, they only hire other Indians to work in their store. In general, the indians that are in Canada do need to work on their cultural integration. My neighbours brought their parents over, and they aren't even trying to learn English. I don't want Canada to become like India. Also, I dont think that most Indian immigrants really want that either, but if we keep flooding Canada with Indians, that will eventually happen.

Indians undermind the efforts of Canadian businesses and work standards. For example, Indians running shipping cans out of Vancouver far cheaper than natural born Canadians. It took transport drivers years to raise the amount we're paid, Indians destroyed our efforts in weeks. Then there's the infiltration of Brampton turning it into Bramladesh.\nThe Commonwealth is dead, immigrants need to go home, they are NOT wanted here!

Ok I don't believe the pooping on the beach thing. Most Canadians have dismissed it. I have to say, however, the percentage of rude Indians in Canada has increased. The entitlement is worse. Immigration per se is not bad, but too much of it, especially too much from one country alone, will offset the demographic balance and is always bad for the country. When my sisters' families drove over from the US to Toronto last month, they were shocked to find that Canada is overwhelmed by Indians! And bad, disrespectful drivers too! As an Indian, I feel that Canada has most corrupted Immigration system. The number of low skilled and unskilled PR holders in Canada is outrageous whereas People who are highly skilled are finding it really difficult to get a PR. Canada does not need more Uber drivers or Fast Food workers. It needs teachers, nurses, doctors, IT engineers, HR proffessionals etc.

Canada's immigration policies of the last several years are designed to destroy Canadian culture. It seems India is the main target country that is taking advantage of these ridiculous policies, by quite a large percentage. Though racial hatred can be the result of this for many, which is unfortunate, the reality is Canadians are not wrong for being very angry about this, and not everyone has the luxury or time to be high minded and philosophical about the demise of their culture. When immigration is so massive in the hundreds of thousands per year that is surpasses a country's capacity to integrate them especially if you consider the tremendous cultural difference between Canadians and Indians. Indians as the newcomers are not doing enough to adapt their way of life to embrace the local culture, creating a huge cultural gap between them and their Canadians hosts. Take Brampton as an example, the overwhelming number of Indians there is completely changing the cultural environment of that city and white Canadians dont identity anymore with their city, some have been there for over 100 years, now they feel like strangers and the end up by wanting to leave.

Again I would blame Trudeau. He shouldn’t have raised immigration levels in the first place. Now he has let down people who have hoped to start anew. It shouldn’t be focused on just Indians though. It should be across the board. As most other Canadians I have talked to and what I have seen being Canadian, the immigration levels are too high and it is not improving things for this country. Eventually things will fall apart (and are already). Just to make things clear, I am not blaming the immigrants.

I am so thankful I have Greek and Macedonian citizenship. As soon as I'm done with my education, I'm moving back to Greece or Macedonia, somewhere there are hardly any Indians. I literally get lucky to see 4-5 white, black, or latinos a day in my city, the rest are all Indian, Pakistani, and Arabs. I don't feel like I'm living in Canada anymore, I feel like I'm living in the Middle-East. I only have 2 more years of university and then if I don't go to Greece or Macedonia, it'll be because there's too many Middle-Easterners there too, and I will go someplace like Korea or Vietnam, where there are practically no Middle-Eastern people. All indian students are getting married and bringing their spouse and parents to Canada. How it's possible? Also getting pregnant so when the baby is born they can be a Canadian citizen. I'd say the problem isn't Indians or any immigrants, but the leeway that the government gives. The government doesn't even 'force' people to integrate. Yeah, all parties suck, but Trudeau made it worse. And also, just in recent years the policies are bad.

My community is home to many wonderful Indian immigrants whom I've had the pleasure of getting to know over the years. While most are fantastic individuals, there are a couple of unsavory characters, including one family that has brought some drug-related issues from a larger city in BC, leading to multiple visits from the RCMP. It's interesting to note that many businesses have been established by Indian immigrants, yet I haven't seen any Canadian-born youth employed there. Despite this, it seems that the majority of Canadians appreciate the Indian community, as they are generally polite, engaging, and friendly.

The level of institutionalized racism here is mind-blowing. I came here for my masters. For context, I am an African female so I experience racism mixed with sexism often(a very draining combination) Anyway, after less than 2 months in a German university, i realised I wasn't at all welcome. I never got the grades I deserved and after several shocking exam results were released, i decided to challenge their decision and call for my exam scripts. Voila! Turned out I was right! I was being evaluated much harsher than my classmates. I'm still so grateful to my Indian friends who gave their consent for the inquiry board to compare the grading scheme used on the rest of the class to mine! Ever since that incident, I see the hate in their eyes, especially from my German classmates who are angry at me for demanding my rights. I've lost interest in this country ever since and can't wait to graduate and go somewhere else.\nDON'T COME HERE as a skilled immigrant or student! My school fees and every expense incurred to get this education is a huge waste! The quality of education is also shocking and shameful!

I don't hate Indians. I am an avid supporter of immigration. My problem is the government allowed too many people to come too fast. The immigrants could be from anywhere and they would be unwelcome becasue we don't have enough housing, jobs or supplies for this level of immigration. The fact that most of the immigrants are Indian is only considered negative because there is no shared culture, values and they are competing with locals for scarce jobs and thus driving down wages.

I would say, we Canadians are simply mad about the illegal immigration and the non vetted and and somewhat entitled immigrants that destroy our way of life. I live in Surrey, which is predominantly Indian, and we don't suffer these issues as we don't have a lot of the illegals coming here that is noticeable at least. I think Ottawa and Toronto is seeing most of these negative issues because of the large amount of new illegals coming there and not having access to homes and our comforts we take for granted here in Canada. I also think it is frustrating to have leaders that pander to these illegals for their votes. So in all I think Canadians, Indians included, are feeling frustrated and angry about the lack of leadership and structure in the immigration system to educated and enforce some basic standards of our beautiful country. I specifically see newer Indian immigrants rushing to catch trains or buses disrespecting the discipline of respecting lineups, elbowing people, being rude, wrong side bike riding makes it feel especially in Toronto as if we are in Delhi Gurugram traffic. No rules folliwed. No respect for personal space. Loud music in neighborhoods. Ofcourse immigrants from other nations too, the super rich have bought so many assets and houses in Canada, that they just own, keep them not used, creating nonavailability of living spaces for regular Canadians.
