Near Toronto and Windsor. We are in crisis here, our social services are on the brink. Cost of living is becoming impossible. The western way of life is being eroded in every western country. It is so obvious. They say population decline, but then why have millions and millions from one small area of the world??? I have no national pride left. I hate it here. It's over.

The USA should take over Canada and become the biggest country in the world. Canada is a mess-up place that had nine years of liberal politics that destroyed the entire country. Canada has no military power, they cannot protect the upper border from Russia and China. The US air force take care of that, and they should not. In NYC, migrants from South America can go to 800 2nd Ave Manhattan and go up to the 2nd floor to the Embassy and get papers filled out, get a passport, get your reloadable debt card, medical, schooling, housing voucher and live like a king for a few months. Over 200 line up every morning here and several hundred a day go through to get this. Can we be mad at the migrants, NO. Though I can be mad at the government for allowing and promoting it. When I got leukemia from the job the utility company fought Workers comp and stopped my pay to starve us out. I ended up homeless with a wife and 4 children. All social services in NY could do was offer us $13 a day per child for food allowance and nothing more. We couldn’t even get Medicare. The food allowance was only for 7 days. It’s a disgrace how citizens are treated. Come here illegally and they offer you the world. These politicians need to be voted out. Social services was developed to help those citizens in need and it’s not happening. People need to realize that government contractors (usually family of politicians) are hired to help these “migrants” . These contractors even from the UN are in Panama helping migrants get here. If you research it you will get angry for sure. My elected officials in Northern NY know what’s going on and are behind it, they don’t even hide it.

The place has no time or space to think. Blink and your place has gone. In every sense: social opportunities, place in queues job opportunities(as they set up internal networks that u are excluded from) aka as smugglers and their smuggled, housing bidding, corrupting of housing laws, benefit fraud all massive problems for local authorities and larger government overall. Under clearer terms and better conditions and planning Im with migration as a theme. Mass intinction to enable mass migration lol maybe less so!! Good luck to us all, we need it. Perhaps its time for us to speak up and get the media to listen to employees instead of the ultra-wealthy so we can become efficient and well rested like many European labor forces, and not become the next Japan which seems to ignore employee needs.\n\nLet's give workers 5 or so weeks of actual time off as in Europe to prevent chronic burnout so we can keep up their productivity. Lets stimulate domestic tourism through this actual time off and revitalize rural Canada, creating business opportunities and jobs. Lets let our newly refreshed and productive workforce create world class companies like in Germany. \n\nAll it requires is we treat employees whether local or newcomer with respect, that labor organizations and companies cooperate to prevent burnout, and we have strong labor laws to prevent abuse by bad employers so employees can have enough time for friends, family, and things they like to do. This sounds easy, so lets fix this productivity crisis.\n\nJust my opinion.

Well as for my experience, I don't even think the education system of this so called developed countries is that great. Like take for my example, I am currently undertaking MSc Biotechnology degree from University of Glasgow in UK, which is considered to be under Top 100 universities in the world by many ranking agency. My academic experience in this university was not at all good, the theoretical lectures were pretty average, the laboratory work was very repetitive, just doing the same thing over and over again, they didn't even teach us how to operate even one complex instrument, it feels like we are a cash cow for this big universities. I highly suggest if anyone is thinking of pursuing a bachelors or master's degree from such countries don't do it. Save your money. Yes, but if you are planning to pursue a PhD then you are most welcome, but only do PhD when you've had a fully funded scholarship+ stipend.

your argument is false. US has one of the most efficient health care systems in the world. The problem is that it's a for profit system which denies access to approx to 40% of its citizens and it's cost prohibitive to many. In Canada, our health system is not efficient but it is affordable and universally available to all citizens. Most developed countries except US adopt similar universal models and it works.

Your comparison of Canada to the US is seriously misplaced. Canada is the second largest country in the world, next to Russia. Our population of 40 million ppl is low which is great. Canada is a very diverse country. CANADA is more than Toronto or Montreal. There are many beautiful cities in western Canada, Saskatoon is an example with a population of close to 400K and yes, it’s a city, not a small town. Personally I’d never live in Toronto, and as a life long resident of Canada, born and raised here, who has travelled the entire country. And visited several states as a former professional softball player. Travelled many countries as well as the Caribbean. I would also move to the West Indies, primarily the island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines or maybe New Zealand. If I moved from the west within Canada, I’d move to the Eastern seaboard, Nova Scotia is really nice. Both of you, your eyes are wide shut about Canada lol. please provide Jobs for Canadian Citizen according to the education private colleges providing jobs for their community and how will we pay back our student loans with out a job. Please do something for us not only for international students. When we came 28 years ago 1st time in Montreal there was very limited south Asian immigrants. Health care was top of the world..living standard was best with less expensive housing & other costs.. Now we live in Toronto & after 28 years its a totally different country. Health care is verge of collapse. 6 to 7 hours waiting in Hospital, 3 hours waiting to see a family doctor. No housing for new people. Car theft is high in the world. Lots of drugs in young people. No job for immigrants while local born young people struggling to find jobs. Only highy educated from local universities people gets job. Food cost higher than US, Europe. Large country but 80% people lives close to US borders. Northern part of Canada is empty. Racism getting higher & higher.. All these problems started after Trudeau came in power. During Harper time Canada was top of the world. Trudeau adoped reckless immigration policy. He brought people here without developing infrastructure like new hospitals, schools, housing etc.. Now most of students are living in stress here. 4/5 people living in one room. No job.. Education tuition fees are very high.. Therefore, new people coming to Canada must do their own research before come here. 99% political asylum cases are getting rejected & facing deportation. Students will not get work permit until they finish their course & get a job from employer.. Trudeau time is over. Conservative party will come to power next year & they will make immigration tougher.

This is the main issue in Canada. We are stuck in so many ways. Our economy is the worst in the G7, so we need to mass import migrants to artificially increase our GDP. But with that, our cost of living will artificially stay high from the increased demand on the housing. All while suppressing wages. All while our government refuses to increase our key natural exports, like crude oil, or nuclear materials. We really are in shambles. Really we need to rip the band aid off, and pause all migration from india for the next five years, not even allowing chain migration. Maintain a manageable rate of legal migration (the US normally has 1 million migrants a year as a high, to a population of 300 million). While getting our pipelines built. Stop the woke shit that is destroying us. Right now every housing project requires an 18 month pause to make sure that the native lands are recognized through a corrupt archeological study (ever since the residential school mass grave hoax). Build houses like crazy, allowing for one additional farm land residential severance. And then stop the regulatory suppression from the federal government on corporations. We have zero money being invested into Canada and it will lead to us having a worse economic outlook than Mexico in less than ten years. Imagine the world thinking of Canada as a third world country. That's where we are heading without some serious shift in how we approach our policy.

Not comparing apples to apples. Amazon returns, education, drugs, labour issues continue in not just Canada, but also US. I am a Canadian and I have seen the sharp decline of Canada over the past decade which makes me very sad. According to many 'experts' they paint a dire picture of the nations future as the rate of inflation spirals out of control and we are buried beneath a mountain of debt. On the ground level, homelessness is an epidemic that the powers that should not be seem to want to sweep under the rug, while they race bait and spout off about woke ideology. They are more worried about transgender rights and castrating children while with anyone with eyes to see are witnessing the very breakdown of their society around them, people are dying in the streets from fentanyl overdose. My wife volunteered at our old church which catored to the homeless and I have known many that are no longer with us, nobody wants to acknowledge it because they do not want to face the fact that they are fellow human beings. Inept government in all levels robbing our earnings and savings through high taxes, service fees leaves little disposable income to Canadians. Politics dictated by US agenda is not allowing us to take advantage of foreign resources and efficiencies to mitigate our rising costs. Compound by inefficient, ineffective, and lack of adequate long term infrastructure investments put us forever in a chasing mode to keep up with the rest of the world. All you have to do is travel to some Asian counties and it will open your eyes on how our system here is completely failing.

I went back to India and came back again in 11 months. \nOnly digital payment system is a plus. \nPpl are still peeing on the wall , basic necessities like water is a problem, traffic is crazy, garbage, rats everywhere, literally stinks in rainy season, if an accident happens,help won’t be able to reach on time. \nThese days mostly both parents are working, and outsourcing their home chores including cooking. All you see is maids mostly. As both the parents are working kids mostly hoping from one activity class to another.Basically, like foreign countries you hv to make extra efforts to make friendship and then to sustain them. \nOnly housewives who of course, hv maids even for dusting , you would see n meet, who would color coordinate their outfit and control the festivities in society. \nLike abroad mostly relationships n friendships are transactional, relatives are already well settled in their respective lives and busy.\nEducation system is not hash and strict as before but teachers are. Indian education is still elaborated and we Indian parents still give pa pushy environment at home that’s it. Apart from that no other eduation is provided like harmonal changes to kids who are about to go in teenage, addiction , behaviour etc… I can write on n on but will some up : your only 3 or 4 member family matters .. 2 parents n kids … rest is all over world us same..

Id be totally okay with it, if we filtered the immigrants to be only from majority white countries, because they will assimilate, they dont shit in the street, and they would help us progress.
