Canada is sadly just way too expensive. The problem with living in Asian countries are many and it's more related to nepotism in the workplace. Steer totally clear of Australia, it's a huge mess now. Hyper expensive and becoming a dumping ground for all sorts of blow ins.

I was in Taiwan recently. Ironically the Taiwanese mostly all dream of coming to Canada or the States, thinking it's like it was in 1991. Some Chinese people (in Thailand) from China see Taiwan as a beacon of hope for Chinese democracy.
\nI think the sad truth is NONE of the developed countries in the West have very good long-term prospects.
\nAnd it's obvious that Bill Gates, Soros, their bosses, and their puppet politicians are following a plan. Covid was a battle in the war of the 1% against the rest of us.

You got to find interest in the mundane, plenty of humans contributed to the progress of humanity by STAYING PUT whereever they are and inventing, writing, discovering..... perpetual travellers/frequent movers are the CONSUMERS of the world, and it is a sad spot to only be a consumer.

As an indian living in Dubai. If I feel a place was overcrowded- I would leave, but for some indians its not the same and its quite sad some politicians thinking a densely populated city full of jobless people is okay. Its kind of the opposite reason why indians move to canada(because most of us dont like overecrowded cities-which tends to happen in india). The amoumt of jobs need to increase. The infrastructure needs to increase. Colleges and schools where people actually pay for all of it is necessary. And homelessness needs to be replace by education and housing policies for older canadians especially. Preserving the respect for the elderly. The list goes on- and yes it will increase the amount of jobs, if they build and educate. Also increase the incentive to be educated.

You people commenting think he spoke so well they have a lot to do with the suffering that’s going on in Palestine, but they’re more busy of thinking how to normalize relation ties with Israel and that’s the sad part they can threaten the Zionist government, but they have done nothing for the past year. They don’t care just bunch of cowards like all the other Arab leaders.

It’s happening in Australia also it’s getting very sad I think we will be the future refugees like the Irish escaping the potato famine we will have to travel to more affordable countries especially to retire, Is it worth fighting for your country anymore just to end up on the homeless scrap heap.

Sadly home ownership is unaffordable in most Western countries, Australia, the Uk , Europe is the same despite a varied number of governments from the Left and Right. Canada does not stand out alone.

My daughter is nearing the end of 2 great years in Canada on an IEC (backpacker) visa from Australia. She’s loved the people, the landscape (mostly lived in BC and Alberta) , and working there…. She picked up interesting jobs, worked very hard, just about made ends meet, has been great. \n\nShe was even offered a permanent job by a major Canadian co last year (she was working for them on a one year role at the time) that would’ve paved the way for her to apply for PR…but she turned it down without a second thought….. for all the reasons you would know about \n\n- Wages aren’t great (maybe 20% less than australia), \n\n- taxes are high (incl having to pay CPP…in australia the employer pays all pension contributions, on top of wages), \n\n- groceries prices out of kilter, \n\n- rents consume most of what’s left…. \n\n- AND, even if you could save a deposit for a house, or shoebox apartment….what’s the point, could never afford it. \n\nShe’s seen nearly all her Canadian friends resigned to their fate of being perennial renters, of being perpetually skint. It’s no life. She’s sad to see it - coming from a country of perpetual optimism and opportunity, to learn over time how such a (on many levels) similar country isn’t like that, that has somehow got it all so wrong. \n\nIf you are thinking of “australia” as your answer, it’d be a fair call\n\n- Avoid Sydney if you can (a less expensive Vancouver) but rest of the place is “workable”. \n\n- Average wage in Perth is $100k (C$90k) and average house (full size…not an apt or townhouse) price is about $700k (C$630k) …so do-able, if tight to start with, for youngsters (like you..!) \n\n- I’ve been to Vancouver’s East Hastings St, and so can confirm is nowhere close to that in Oz. Are sketchy parts of all cities, but it’s definitely not community wide\n\n- are small pockets of homelessness (esp but not only indigenous community) but the governments are mostly (sort of…) “on it” \n\n- sun, sea, sand… and the sharks rarely come close to shore!

This campaign message paid for by the Conservative Party of Canada. Sadly, the Canadian populace is currently in a mood to buy into the BS of grievance and elect Poilievre, who will then trample human rights, bust unions, and further enrich corporations to the detriment of societies most vulnerable. The pendulum always swings back to greed after a period of social progress.

It is undeniably sad these people are going through this, and it should have been handled more intelligently and logically from the beginning. If your belief is either they should all be left to drown, or that we should have no borders at all, you are at an extreme and you are why we have this problem today. When the Nazis take Germany over again, it will in part because the left was so naive and stupid. And all of you who saw this coming, should have rightfully spoken out while condemning an all out nationalist and hateful ideologies. \n\nEither extreme just leads to the other, and if you fell for either one, shame on you. History is already proving this to be true. The fact speaking concern about immigration is instantly labeled as racism has endangered the lives of the very people you claim you wanted to protect, how stupid are you?

What’s really sad is that this weekend? I went to the mall I went to Tim Hortons. We went to Wendy’s and every single employee was an international student. What is really sad is they are taking these jobs away from Canadian born children who need these jobs to go to universityor government didn’t think through this. These international students were supposed to come with money but instead are taking over jobs that are highschoolers need

When Canadians say “sorry” it’s not an apology and doesn’t mean taking blame. It means something closer to “it’s unfortunate…” or “I regret that…”. It’s just a politeness to diffuse any bad feelings — by sharing or acknowledging the sadness of the situation. So please don’t say Canadians apologize a lot. The word “sorry” has a much more nuanced meaning here. It’s actually remarkably difficult to know when a Canadian is apologizing, even for Canadians.

Yup, I'm living for the day when Canada gets past this Liberal/Conservative duarchy that has brought the country to this. (But their big business buddies are doing well, so no problem, right?) If we'd invested in the future (healthcare, livable jobs...), maintained housing as a social good and not a profit-making sector, et cetera, over the past decades this would be one of the best countries in the world. Instead: This ?\n\nAs long as the Conservatives aren't allowed to dismantle the healthcare system completely my family will stay put (the pluses there still outweigh the minuses for now), but if they finish americanizing Canada's healthcare system we'll be leaving as well (just as soon as we can land jobs in Western or Central Europe ?). It's sad though, it doesn't have to be this way ?

It is sad that so many have abused the asylum provision. Now actual asylum seekers suffer. Canada should not be treated as a convenient retirement plan for the rest of the world.

India isn't the place you want to bring over. Why do you think Indians want to leave? It's a corrupt country. Cheating and lying is the foundation of their society. So sad that Canada wants to degrade it's morality and culture.

A Titanic, a mere bus station, airplane gate, but crowded going against what it was built to hold, thus going against the fire code. You name it. Just a sad story, and simply trash that place.

Already underway... Indian students and immigrants in Australia face hate crimes on a regular basis. \n\nIn Kenya, the local population wants the Indians to get our of their country. \n\nUganda has already expelled Indians once (under Idi Amin) and even today there is widespread hatred for Indians (muendiies, as they call us) amongst ordinary Ugandans. \n\nAfter the beating of Nigerian students in India, the Indian immigrants in Nigeria are not welcome and are targets of increasing hate crimes. \n\nFiji ousted the Indian elected Prime Minister, M.P. Chaudhry, who had to finally seek refuge in India. \n\nMalaysia has seen a rise in hate crimes against Indians too…\n\nMaldives wants Indians out of their country too.\n\nUK, Canada are openly against Indian immigrants as are other European countries.\n\nThe writing is on the wall – Indians are now seen as aggressive self-serving parasites that bite the hand that feeds. Is this trend something we should be worried about?\n\nInternationally, we are now being seen as intolerant, argumentative, hate-mongering, anti-Muslim, anti-Christian bunch of saffron terrorists. Sad.

Sorry to hear you’re leaving Canada….I haven’t been watching your vids lately but will catch up. As someone born and raised in Toronto, I love being in Canada. I’m proud to be Canadian. Unfortunately, I am sad to say that we have been going so downhill ever since Trudeau and his gang of idiots came in AND the pandemic. It’s not really easy to maintain your finances here anymore, so many people are struggling in this country. You can’t really afford anything today, it’s so sad. I’m unhappy with what has been happening to our country and the state we’re in. As you said, problems have arisen and continue to plague this country, from crime, cost of living, homeless crisis and quality of life.\n\nIf other of my fellow Canadians are leaving this “great” country, that’s their choice. But I am staying here and going to deal with its problems. I love this country with all my heart, and I don’t think I would move anywhere to a different country. Yes anyone that moves out of here is your choice but….there’s no other great country in the world than here. I’m staying here and I think that’s a good thing. I will be here for the forseeable future and I love it here. I agree with your points and I wish you the best.

If you can't afford it don't send them. The stress is not worth it. I thought you had to show the Canadian government that you have the money to go to college in Canada. WOW. This is sad

There isn’t any diversity in canada any more! Everybody is Indian !!!! \nAlso, sadly they do not try to conform to the culture of the country they’ve moved to!!! They still behave like they are still in India and that’s so bothersome to people who already live there… I think a 10% decrease of intl. students is enough or will work at all …

India has problems with breeding too many kids specifically wishing for Boy . Until they have some awareness on these issues they will be disaster for this planet. Very sad and disgusting ambition and thinking regardless of having so many talented respected philosophers..

I too am an immigrant, but I feel like the country is being overtaken by India. There's nothing wrong with immigration if controlled properly, bud sadly this is not the case with the Canadian government, and it is getting out of control. I live in a beach town in Ontario that up until last year was a nice place to live. Now when you go to the beach it is 90% Indians, and they are buying up all the businesses to cater to their own kind and if you aren't Indian, you stand out like a sore thumb!. Sadly, having lived in Brampton since the late 60s, I have seen it happen and I feel that it is becoming another Brampton! I have a relative that lives in Brampton and is very experienced in the medical field, but cannot get a job because they don't speek Hindi. Come on people! If you can't speak english you shouldn't be allowed into the country!

Unfortunately I believe more and more Canadians are thinking the same thing. I have lived in Canada all my life and am really looking at leaving the country. If I am thinking this then there are a lot of others thinking the same thing. In the last 10 years of the Liberal leadership has brought a lot of people to the same realization, sad state of affairs where the country is no one would have seen this 10 years ago.

The problem has to do with quantity... (Tons of indians in every English speaking country, and sadly many of them bring many of their bad habits with them)
