This is another example of white collar crime getting a slap on the wrist. Dude makes $10 million dollars illegally and is only fined $900,000 (9 percent of his proceeds of crime) then is sentenced to 7 years in jail and serves only 2. Somebody passes a bogus $300 bank cheque and gets more time than that. It's nice to see that something was actually done but this guy should have been deported with all his assets seized. If he did this in China he would be spending the rest of his life in a prison labour camp.

We cannot support refugees that are not by definition of our laws actually refugees. If you want to apply for imigration that is fine too.
