Assalamu alikom. My husband and I live in North Europe but have been considering moving out since we got married. We just can’t see raising our future children in Europe for the very same reasons you mentioned, SubhanAllah. May Allah make it easy for you and for us to find our new home in this dunia as Muslims… Amin.

Convert from The Netherlands here, and I have really struggled with this, mostly as 'muslims majority/arab countries' seem to have westernised very much and I fear that migrating there would lead fo a false senss of (islamic) security. \n\nSo I am very curious to see which countries you both are considering.\n\nMay Allah SWT grant you ease and goodness.

I am a Christian, and I have been married to an amazing North African (a practicing) Muslim woman for the past 17 years. By the way, we have lived in five different majority Muslim countries, but Malaysia is by far the best one of all. We have friends who moved to Europe from North Africa and the Middle East. However, Canada is definitely better than Europe, the Middle East, or Pakistan or any other Muslim country for any Muslim man or woman. We have very close Pakistani friends who moved to Canada from Dubai, and they will never consider moving back to either the Middle East or Pakistan. I don't agree with the Saleh family's reasons for leaving Canada, other than the cold weather. I wish them happiness and safety wherever they go. FREE PALESTINE!!

As a single muslim, thinking about getting married and the future beyond, I too am considering moving. I am just limited by my choices of countries as I require good health care due to certain lung and heart conditions. I am looking forward to the video of the countries you guys are considering moving to.

Just a note, if the countries that you are considering, you have only visited as a tourist, a longer stay (maybe 6 months or so) may give you a better idea on what it actually is like.\n\nI am from (or rather, my family is, and I still have a majority of my family in) one of the countries you mentioned, and while every single thing you mention about it is true, many of the reasons you are choosing to leave Canada for is also applicable, though it may not be apparent to a visitor.\n\nPulling out and setting new roots are never easy, even if it may be the right choice. Wish you the best of luck in the next step of your journey.

Salaam alaykum brother and sister, I am a Muslim and I live in the US, and totally agree and understand your decision, I feel the same way too, however I just wanted to let you know that if you are considering Dubai or anywhere in the UAE, Saudi or the Gulf area for that matter, then don't since the final reason you stated will be a reason there as well, unfortunately but yes, I have a family members that live in these countries and myself have visited there, otherwise, keep us posted with your findings and may Allah guide us all, jazakum Allah kheiran

omg thank you so much for sharing this! All of this resonated so much, I'm a mom of 2 and am so fearful for my children's upbringing and literally Palestine was the last straw and I'm trying to hard to move to a Muslim country for all the reasons that you all mentioned. Looking forward to you all sharing what countries you're considering and I'd love to hear the financial side of things if you're comfortable sharing it would be super helpful. I'm in the tech industry and haven't had much luck yet.

Current human intelligence is not enough to clearly understand the origins of the universe and /or the creator. We need another 50 years to understand more. I would consider Stephen Hawking and Albert Einstein as the biggest prophets that put us in the right direction to understand about creation. Not the 6th century uneducated war tribal

Where are you considering going ? Most Gulf country require you to have a work visa, or some kind of employment visa, whether your opening up your own business, or finding work through an employer. This is the only way you can stay in the countries. Or you can invest close to 3/4 of a million CDN in real estate and they will provide you with a Resident Visa. Also most schools are Private Schools, have you considered what kind Education Curriculum you would chose? The costs are also very high. This information is very important to help us all who are considering leaving Canada as well. Please share what you have found from your research . Good luck and will be following your exciting Journey :)

It's so sad that you even have to consider this, but you need to do what you feel is right for you and your family. This world is so scary right now and it's only going to get worse before it gets better. I wish you the best of luck in your search and I hope that you can find a safe and inviting place to move.

Salam, I’m a Dominican Muslim and my husband is Falastin. We have been considering the same for the past few years. The situation in the US is not getting better and have had some unfortunate situations happen being a hijabi. We were researching Qatar as our first option because Arabic is the spoken language but if not for the language we are considering Malaysia. Inshallah we will all find the best place to raise our children. Best of luck to your family.

A handrail you have the resources to move out of Canada. There are many who have the same concerns who can’t even begin to even put up the money to move out of their house that they’re renting to even consider moving somewhere more appropriate so good for you guys for having that ability.

You should consider moving to Africa in countries like Ghana,Nigeria,Kenya,Uganda,Rwanda, and most Especially Tanzania and Gambia which is dominated by majority moslems .You can buy a house there, houses are cheap, weather is very beautiful people are friendly,it very safe,You can live a dream life while there.l plan on retiring to Africa one day, slowly preparing for it.

I've been following you guys for the longest of times since the beginning, actually. Massive respect for you people to put our deen on priority. Like in each of 5 points, our religion was associated with the reason for migration. May Allah make it easy for you guys. Aameen. This is super tough, I know, I understand. But definitely, nothing is hard if Allah SWT commands it to be smooth. In urdu we say, 'HIJRAT MEIN BARKAT'.\n\nP.S: Consider QATAR. Also, a sisterly advice, finalise after offering two rakah nafeel.\n\nLove and respect,\nSafura S.

This hit home on a number of levels. As black woman raised in the Great Lakes of the US MidWest I get the need to relocate which is what we did. Bigotry and environment being chief. I caution you on one aspect that will remain the same wherever you go and that is the issue of schooling and influence - YOU WILL HAVE TO BE INVOLVED AND REMAIN VIGILANT regardless of where you go as no school can replace the foundational structure of parenting and all institutions have personalities with agendas in spite of expressed mission. As for recommendations of where to relocate also consider Suranime where 14% of the population is Muslim. Since I've lived in Islamic lands the world has changed so much that xenophobia against even other Muslims in countries that used to be so welcoming to the stranger but for a variety of reason is also factor you MUST consider. God is good and will guide you.

Good for you!!!\nWe have been considering moving too and are now pretty determined. But we don’t know where to as it seems that soo many muslim countries have taken a disappointing stance regarding this genocide. Wishing you all the best and may Allah protect you

Abu Musa reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever loves his worldly life will suffer in his Hereafter, and whoever loves his Hereafter will suffer in his worldly life. Thus, prefer what is everlasting over what will vanish.”\n\nSource: Ṣaḥīḥ Ibn Ḥibbān 709\n\nMay Allah make this move easy for you all and grant you the best in both worlds. When we leave something for the sake of Allah, He replaces it with something better inshaAllah. \n\nPlaces to consider: \nMalaysia\nDubai\nTurkey

Before moving to Canada, it is good to target the industry. Please consider the nuclear industry. There are jobs there and expect a lot more jobs as Ontario plans to build 4 new Small Modular Reactors that will create thousands of job opportunities. Also, there is refurbishment of existing nuclear generating plants at Bruce Power and Darlington and very soon, Pickering. This will provide plenty of jobs.
\n
\nOntario relies on nuclear power to provide around 60% of its electricity. You can come into the nuclear industry as an engineer (electrical, mechanical, civil, nuclear) or as a project manager. With all the new nuclear projects, project managers will be in hot demand.
\n
\nStart now to develop yourself to be well place to get jobs in the Canadian nuclear sector.
\n
\nThe salary is very good too.
\n
\nHappy to help if you need more information.

Salam aleikum, I am European who twenty years ago accepted Islam alhamdulillah. I was a student at university when I first met practicing Muslims and during my year abroad in Canada I got to experience the Muslim community and made the decision to accept the truth. It actually makes me sad to see that Canada goes down the way you described. I like the Canadian people and have beautiful memories from the time I spent there. \n\nAs a European Muslim I also started considering hijra. But my case is a bit complicated: I am the caregiver of my two parents who suffer from ALS and dementia ? As they are totally dependent on my presence, practically I cannot leave....but I also feel the negative things as you described them for Canada. With maybe one exception: our winters are milder and I enjoy our summer. When I travelled to Saudi ,Turkey and Morocco: I liked all of them, but the weather was just too much for me ?

I'm interested in your business plans. Dealing with the paperwork and setting up in a different country seems challenging. Also, considering the potential price differences and increased competition in less affluent markets, how do you plan to navigate these challenges?

Pls come to Pakistan. Rich elite class lives fine here. Pls do consider Karachi or Islamabad. Islamabad I'd suggest, it has youth clubs official headquarters there. So many religious activities for you in youth clubs community and for the kids too.

The UK is the best place in the West for muslims . I am also considering moving mostly because of the weather and society

i dunno, you're privileged enough to be able to move wherever you want so that's cool. but don't think that anywhere else is better, most other countries are worse either on the things you mentioned or more. so I would urge you to think this through and actually look at the good and bad of the countries you're considering. also most other countries are poorer than Canada... heads up

I move from one country to another every five years because of the nature of my job. As a practising Muslim with children here are some of the countries I’ve lived in which you guys should consider :\n- Turkey is very developed and your family will have to make less adjustments in terms of quality of life. If you can speak Turkish then you are good to go.\n-Morocco has a very rich culture and the economy is relatively stable.\n- Malaysia is beautiful and has great community sense. Very helpful people. The main adjustment will be with the eastern culture which is very conservative. The cuisine is also very unique.\n- Qatar and UAE are both similar in the sense that finding jobs won’t be a problem and lots of people understand and speak english. Also these two countries are developed and the \n education standards are the highest I have seen in countries following sharia. Also these countries are less strict than Saudi Arabia which is my native country. I really hope you two \n aren’t considering it. Your girls will not grow up happy in Saudi. Trust a women who has done it. I love my religion but inshallah no child should go through that environment because her \n parents were attracted to the holy land.\n-Lastly this is a rather outlier in this list but you should consider India. There are mosques everywhere in almost every city and even the Hindus fondly wake up to the azaan. Most \ninclusive non-Muslim country I have lived in. My children loved it. We lived in one of the many Muslim communities near a mosque in a city called Hyderabad which was ruled by a Muslims for hundreds of years. Even though they have their own languages nearly everyone speaks english. The schools are great. The police create spaces for Muslims to worship on the roads so that traffic doesn’t disturb them. Very inclusive and the city itself is beautifully developed. The job market is great and it is a very affordable place to raise a family.\n\nI hope you guys check these places out. I’ve only listed the countries which I felt were the best options but I’ve lived in almost all the countries with a sizeable Muslim population. Best wishes to you folks from the Sayyid family. Allah be with you.

May Allah make your hijra easier, we are also considering making hijra to a Muslim country inshaa Allah.
|
| 2023-12-27 | 0 |
Consider Kuwait, Egypt, Turkey, Bahrain, and Jordan
|
| 2023-12-27 | 0 |
Even though I became Muslim only since mid March, I’ve been considering making the Hijra to a Muslim country Insha’Allah. I can’t relate to living in cold weather conditions being in Southern California, but I can relate to everything else. \n\nI’m not married. Insha’Allah one day I will. But I think about the safety my wife will have going out in public in her hijab. Insha’Allah I’ll have kids and I wonder about the indoctrination going on in society. \n\nBut the biggest thing for me is living in the US and knowing that whoever is in charge will endorse genocide. And for a country that prides itself on free speech, yet we see that speech being limited when it comes to standing up for what’s right. I actually had a feeling that was going to be your number one reason before you got to it.\n\nI can’t make this happen right now but Insha’Allah in the next few years, be able to work on it so it can happen.
