This is such low quality journalism. There is no explanation or analysis of the deep causes of the situation in Canada. Has immigration increased for the past decades? If yes, to what extend? Who are the immigrants? How do they integrate into the Canadian society? What do politicians have to say?\nIs there an increase in votes for far right parties? If yes, to what extend?\n\nAlso, asking questions which suggest the answer is a sign of low quality journalism.

On what grounds? are they not adequately educated to serve in their home country? That they are comfortable performing manual labor in Canada but are unable to do so in their home country due to concerns about their social image?

Unfortunately, I am sad to say that we have been going so downhill ever since Trudeau and his gang of idiots came in AND the pandemic. It’s not really easy to maintain your finances here anymore, so many people are struggling in this country. You can’t really afford anything today, it’s so sad. I’m unhappy with what has been happening to our country and the state we’re in. I am an international student in Canada from the U.S. and intended on staying here after graduation, but after having learnt of the job shortages, the housing crisis, and inflation (due to the influx of immigrants), I've begun to consider returning to the States. It is unfair that your livelihoods are worsening because of foreigners taking advantage of the system (and this is also happening in the U.S.). I assimilate into Canadian culture and respect its laws, but I would hate to contribute to this population crisis.

Look at the root cause of these problems. It is the colleges making money off these student immigrants, it is the corporate who do not want to pay decent living wages to Canadians so they are hiring these students at a minimum wages jobs. Let face it it this is capitalism at works where the corporate has to save as much money as possible for share holders. So yes immigration is a huge problems but immigrant alone are not at fault. Fault lies with the government (federal, provincial and municipal) and the corporate entities in Canada as well.
