Just by seeing this makes me think if this is what was happening when I was in a cvs one time. I ordered some stones for my nails online but it was going to come later thin I needed so I seen cvs had some stones with a set of nails but I was not able to decide on what stones so I bought one of all the ones they had but I had a lady walk pass me so many times. I happened to notice after a week later a go back to pick up medication and they put the nails in the front of the store. Smh I have everything I need when it comes to my nails and know never buy it from cvs. They was high priced anyways. It cost me 32 dollars for the 10 stones at cvs and my order online was 25 for 100 stones.

actually, having worked in real estate sales for a brief part of my life, im pretty sure the amount of racism isnt as exaggerated as portrayed. what is happening is the sales person has deemed the first customer very likely to rent the apartment, so to avoid having to reject/ conflict another customer, the later customer looking at the same apartment is quoted a slightly higher price to deter him from deciding on the apartment. also why the first customer is offered 2 apartments to look at while the 2nd customer looking for the same criteria is only offered one.

So... I have two daughters that were in the same high school in a town called Port McNeil. One, older and european descended and the younger, indigenous. I just find the film industry so frustrating. As a woman I just feel that it's a white male dominated industry. The Oscars just reinforced my consistent frustration. Films are predominantly aimed at white men, big block busters that make maximum profit, celebrating the male archetype. Men review films, men analyse the profit made and then decide more films for men need to be made. I feel so under-represented in films and I can see how much worse this is cross culturally. I was talking to a student of mine who has gone on to do film making at uni and raised this with him after some discussions on our favourite films. He hadn't really thought about the need of different audiences to see films that reflect their own backgrounds, ideologies etc. Hopefully the new generation of film makers will bring with them a more authentic and fresh approach to film making.

I totally agree with the masses,to get a job offer when you are outside Canada is very difficult.I sat for an assessment test,for one of Canada's reputable company.It took me more than two hours to finish,but when they realized that am outside Canada,there response was that,we have decided not move forward with your application.Other efforts have not even paid off,no responses.

I'm not minimising the racism here but I have been followed and asked to open my backpack, I'm British white but must look like a thief to security . Dear , you don't have to feel sorry. I am sure your intention is very very good. Seems you are good human beings. I lives in UK for 18 years. In beginning I struggled a lot. During past 18 years I have travelled lots in various countries and seen so many settled people who are origin from respective country or are settled from ages . But you also note that thay had gone through with same as beginner going through, or might b lot . I like your post, and doesn't notice any ego or proud in that . I like that . But what I mean to say is everyone from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka or Bangladesh , before come in English country or in any country, are starting very big dreams and after step into new country they don't accept positive things and blames only those countries where thay have gone for higher education or for earning money. Still they stay there and says here is blot like india , dongle come here , or we have to do this type of job .They don't have servants there, they have to wash their clothes themselves, cook themselves and clean house themselves . That's why thay are saying bad words for that country and still they want path of permanent residence of that country. I am not against of india but if you are staying in English country for 6 months, I request you please make video for how government works for their people, how smooth you can run your business without giving bribe to government officers , how police officers are doing their job and how pure is system . And please all these compare in India and suggest life is easy there or not . I love my country and during my 18 years in UK , I came back to India with my family to settle down the rest life but because of some government officers ( on each step asking bribe for business) , and not getting support from government, decided to go back to UK .I mean to say in English country there is value for poor person or for rich person. There is Safe Third Country Agreement between the US and Canada. Therefore the law says you are required to claim refugee status in the first country you land in. With that being said he landed in the US first and probably applied for status there. This is a strong deciding factor for the government's decision process amongst other factors. Even if he did have a legitimate reason for staying, Canada would’ve never accepted him. You are only granted asylum status at the first country next to your own. The fact he stayed in the US and then decided to go to Canada says that he is an economic migrant. Also, I’ve found that speaking English helps you a ton.
