Not only are they entering illegally, many that are in the U.S. illegally or legal are just looking at there phones and not even attempting to assimilate and learn English. I have noticed that almost every foreign speaking person is just looking at their phones and listening to media in their own language. If I was seeing some watching English media or at least trying to learn the language it would at least be a step in the right direction, but they ignore everything in English! Social media has a stranglehold on American culture!! There are several Spanish speaking groups being brought in to work in retail and grocery stores and it's just the same thing, they don't know hardly a word of English. If they come here even legally, they should be learning English, we shouldn't have to learn Spanish in our own country or whatever language they are speaking!!!!!Speak English or go back to your own countries, your culture is not our culture! Learn our laws, our history and our ways or stay out of our country!!!

Is t that everywhere? Many things mentioned in that video are the same or worse allover world. like immigration or housing for example. Look at Nordic countries, UK, France, just to name few. Doctors going to USA bc is privatized, so yes for the money. But ask who there can afford ? You don’t have to wait 4 months to see doctor bc we have many walk in clinics. Plus, if you live too far from your work you will have no time to socialize for most the week due to travel time. \n\nI think those who grew up in Toronto do have a certain culture of acceptance with others from many cultures, because your friends at school were from all over. But with new migrants sometimes it isn’t until the second generation that their social circles get diverse. This can be isolating and it’s even isolating as those from Toronto eventually leave dreaming of staying in one spot and not forced to move constantly when a landlord investor sells every house you move into. \n\n\nToronto really needs to protect affordability of housing for at least some housing in every section so that people can save money if they live in the city, and not have to leave their communities and be far from their friends and family. \n\notherwise eventually people get sick of the hustle and it’s too tiring to travel 1+ hrs each way to visit someone during Monday to Friday. \n\n20 years ago any professional could at least buy a condo. Not today. There is too much competition now and investors are allowed to buy up all the most affordable housing that once was a pathway to owning a home. \n\nRich policy makers got greedy and destroyed canada and hopefully diversity in leadership will help make Canada better. But they perhaps people knew to Canada can reject this lonely structure and help us rebuild Toronto into an amazing place. \n\nWe need to make sure everyone can afford housing with 30% of their income. The main problem is once you go through the long process of getting a college degree (computer science in my case and 3 years of help desk experience), I don’t get more calls, I don’t get interviews and I get the anxiety that comes with seeing everything getting more expensive, bills pilling up and no income entering the account. It’s dreadful, to see everywhere that computer science is in demand and you have to sleep scared shitless of going homeless. I don’t know if it’s because I’m Hispanic, my skin tone something in the water. I’m not staying in Canada. I’ve been living in Canada for 30 years. Now I’m leaving Canada for an Hispanic Country. In Canada homes are not affordable, I don’t get jobs opportunities even thou the market is statistically healthy, and everything is getting more, and more expensive.

I took my younger sister to the hospital and we had to wait hours before seeing a doctor. I was really scared she wasn't going to be attended to. We need more doctors, midwives and nurses to address the massive short fall please....

We can't handle school's doubling in size and job's are not that easily found. I think if you want to come to America you should do it the right way. I have dual citizenship. Born in Canada. I have a beautiful American mom and a French Canadian dad. I lived in Florida and Maine. Came back to Canada. I always come back to Canada. USA is awesome, but in small doses. I can see myself going back for a couple years when my kids have have all graduated. Universities and health care is more affordable in Canada. Generally, more chill and less amped up as well. lol. I love both my countries though.

Canada is like that job you get to use it as a stepping stone to go somewhere better. Here in Moncton New Brunswick its been getting bad over the past few years with homeless camps, yet they are building huge apartment buildings on every possible place they can find space but those are all going to all the immigrants and people moving out here from Quebec and Ontario. I'm a school bus driver and just on Monday while driving my students, there was a group of homeless trying to resuscitate a guy on the sidewalk who looked completely dead with a purple face and this happened maybe 50ft from a local foodbank. They all walk like they are zombified and bent/knelt over. Thanks to woke mayor's and their sanctuary cities we are seeing this crap and to Trudeaus and his Liberal governments immigration policies.

You know, you just uploaded this video two days ago, and two nights ago, I took a walk from Yonge and Bloor to Yonge and Dundas. I could not believe how bad the city has gotten... just like your video demonstrates. There were homeless people and drug addicts all the the way down Yonge...dozens at every corner. Tons on the subway, too. I even made a FB post about it, because I was so dismayed. Your video really demonstrates what's going on in the pulse of the city. It's so disturbing... it actually makes me really sad to see Toronto's relatively sudden severe decline. (I've been living in Toronto since 1998). And believe me - I know the rest of Canada is not far behind.

Canada has benefitted a lot from immigration. Just go and check any restraunt, and you will see only immigrants working there. The problem with toronto is that its over immigrated and the government has failed to move people to smaller cities.

Labour shortage? ? we have enough homeless people without jobs already. Canadians do not want to be exploited with cheap labour thats the problem. Of course a new immigrant is going to do whatever job they can get, because they do not know the Canadian economy. You see houses with 15 people in a 3 bedroom apartment, 25 people in a house. I always wondered why certain houses had 6+ cars and I kept seeing multiple faces.

Why you are always attacking the international students? We pay rent, taxes, CPP, tuition. We are the best students and most brilliant people of our own countries. We didnt come here for food, most of us come from wonderful countries with better weather beaches etc. We are here to contribute to this country as a new adventure while our intention remains returning home one day. Rest assured that many other countries offer better living conditions such as cheap university kitchen where you can eat and not worry about the meals, dorms just a few meters from classes etc. I tried one week applying in indeed and I got 6-7 job offers so there are plenty of jobs around. Look at the photos you are posting, most are from africans who came to canada illegally from mexico-us route or ocean-Quebec ships. Why dont you count millions of Ukrainian who are here taking your taxes and most of them doing nothing not even knowing English! Go out and learn what CANADA is before making these videos.\nFirst you should know that Canadian Companies don't hire anyone for a high skilled job. Even if you are an amazing engineer with 20yrs of experience. They want even skilled people to get canadian experience by working entry level jobs.\nAnd you are crying about how immigrants are applying for entry level jobs. First you should ask your companies and government why it is wasting the talent of people they brought by asking them to do entry level jobs.

I'm all for bringing in the 'skills & talent' with new immigrants. But these new Canadians must fit the criteria that Canada needs and they must come in through the legal system, be properly vetted and willing to abide by the laws of the land. Instead, what Trudeau is bringing in through open borders are freeloaders, people who take advantage of the welfare system and refuse to work. And many of them have long criminal histories. Some even insist on bringing their quarrels with them along with the hatred they harbour for other groups of people. I am curious to know how many people under 30, who are from Canada, still see their future here? or are planning to move to another country. I am in my 40s, and watch every day as justin gives away everything I have worked for in my life. I will be selling my home soon, most probably to an immigrant family, because the cost of existing here has become way too high. Canada is not diverse anymore. When you go to GTA you will only see Indians and Blacks more. Australia accepts immigrants which they need. Australia don't care even if you study in Australian university but if you are not in their required profession list then you won't get PR. But in Canada you just need university degree and you can apply for immigration and you will get. Thousands of people who were rejected in Australia ended in Canada. And now international students mostly Punjabis coming for rural areas and end up becoming truck driver. Trucking industry is so saturated because of Punjabis. We don't need labour class because we have people for that. What we need is skilled people and educated which is short here.

Most of these immigrants come into Canada have no skills nothing I am a skilled tradesmen and I see what’s going on. As an immigrant from Europe (not a country with a high level of poverty or a war), I arrived here in 2016 and I can say I love Canada, a very welcoming country. While I see lots of immigrants returning to their countries or going to other places, this country is amazing, offering tons of possibilities to entrepreneurs, business people and with a wide variety of possibilities. Yes, housing is an issue but it is in many rich countries. I also see a lot of people like me, happy about what they have and what they built. I travelled the world (Australia, Europe, Middle-East, Africa and Asia) and I can guarantee, there is no perfect place. So find the place that suits you best. Do not expect perfection. It does not exist.

Let them go to Canada thats not out issue but we must stop them from coming to America illegal but good to see the Canadian police doing their job

Sadly, Canada is not longer the country it used to be! \nAffordability is a huge factor, plus the difficulty to enter the job force or find a good job (not only in academia in every field) which so necessary to pay for housing, food etc\nBut also the social and cultural changes has been huge in the past decade. \nAs we see the decline in USA, we can see Canada is following closely and in some areas, we are doing worse.\n20+ years ago Canada have quality of life, that has dropped drastically in every area health services, schools, security, transportation, housing, infrastructure etc. although we pay higher taxes than other countries we do not have the same services.\nLaws restricting liberties and going to the extreme on protecting and impossing other ideologes erosion of freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, freedom of religion etc. \nOn top all that is the huge public debt, lack of transparency, abuse in the spending of many politicians, and corruption.\nAll together has turned living in Canada less disarable for many immigrants and also nationals. Many Canadian are choosing to live abroad or retire abroad.

Back then there was a lot of work in the lumber industry in western Canada and big factories in eastern Canada. I see many homes once occupied by a family go for sale and become an apartment building for students and/or immigrants. So many people going into the homes that traffic increased many times , moving trucks any time of the month (they must rent by day or week?) and they really pack them in. A 4 bedroom home can see 10 people in it, they don't use the driveway, it sits empty in most of the homes that sold for this purpose . They are generally quit and very inconspicuous except for the people in and out all the time with backpacks on. My only complaint is they they move, they trash the furniture on the side of the street for the neighborhood to enjoy until the city picks it up. \n\nThe person owning that home is making bank on the rentals. so I see why they don't want to stop this.

well housing and for health care cost of living. the new middle class to live comfortable afford rent groceries car payments and to have some saving need to make at least 11k a month after taxes 11k a month after taxes is like 200k in canada for health care to even see a doctor sure ok we get referral but that referral takes 8 months to go and see an referral. i worked 2 full time jobs in the trades to try and get ahead that 2 full time trade mens jobs and i looked at my taxes was 5 months of income in taxes. so i quit one job. i ncanada your penealized for working harder when there is a single mom who has no job has 4 kdis making 5k a month from child benefits and welfare

once in 2015 i went to vancouver and on the connection in Toronto from Rio de Janeiro I decided to go outside to see snow for the first time with just a GAP hood... never felt so cold! I thought I was dying rs... took a selfie in the snow though...
