Moved to Canada for quality of life and in terms of natural beauty it has not disappointed me. However, it is sorely lacking in the necessary infrastructure investment and many of the more Woke political decisions compound this with how the tax dollars get utilised on virtue-signalling for the Politicos, instead of driving steady grass-roots investment into the education and building out the infrastructure and driving the expansion of the economy. Sadly, the Woke government has moved from an almost clear balance sheet to having stacked up an incredibly high national debt mountain which now eats up most tax dollars just to service and will take GENERATIONS to repay.... the grandchildren of Canadians today will not see this repaid and there is NOTHING to show for it except keeping the Woke politicos smug in their beliefs.\nOf course, I am gone..... In many places I've worked across Canada Blacks have it made! It is not hate, for me it is frustrating. I have been trying for 2 years to aquire work and not for nothing but i was averaging 5 to 10 postings in a day but quickly lost opertunitys cause the requirement for the jobs in the last few years has gone up with no traing options for me or people like me that cant find work in a perticular timeframe and we also need to have awareness and transpertancy about programs that are availbe to me. Nothing wrong with International students as long as they are Not All from India. It's as if Indian government moles have penetrated the Canadian gov under Trudeau to only bring Indians to Canada and give only Indians all the work permits. My family came from Canada from India over 100 years ago we came over here legally we tried to assimilate I think what really bothers me now is that these new international students are giving all of us a bad name most of them cheat on their English exams back in India, and this is a known fact most of them can’t speak English and hence why they fail the colleges here expecting to be passed automatically. they work over 40 hours a week illegally and lie about it The government is subsidizing international students but they are taking jobs away from our students. We paid taxes my entire life and my son applied for over 100 jobs and got nothing because every single job is taken over by international students they are they are abrasive. They are entitled, they cannot seem to understand how assimilation works. They are so entitled and they feel they can protest out in the streets when they dont get PR. They came on a student visa and were expected to go home. They are now complaining and protesting at this point they all need to be sent home because this is ridiculous, PR should be handed out as needed not automatically and right now there are so many Canadians without jobs so we don’t need more workers. I also work in healthcare most of the students or their families come in don’t have appropriate healthcare and we end up paying millions of dollars in healthcare bills because of them, we have had families come visit their international students with no healthcare having strokes costing us healthcare workers and the government over $1 million. We don’t have the infrastructure for these students to stop. The government needs to stop subsidizing. The government needs to stop handing out PR like they’re handing out candyscamin India and here charged enough is enough. I will def be writing to my politician

I was in the security workforce. It was inundated with permit workers. They all drove new cars, had apple watches, expensive cell plans, and would moan about not getting enough hours. Security companies hire huge forces of them. Security companies can use and abuse them as they feel vulnerable to begin with being in a foreign country. I wouldn't tolerate the treatment and of course was weaned out. Corrupt. Many contracts lost as management just sends anyone to a shift. Half are tiny women with no training and were passed through without the standard 40 hours security licence training but a crash course one day course for the permit workers. Illegal all around.

I am an immigrant essentially - finally got my PR after 3 years in 2012 (on a skilled worker application - IT Systems Manager), 10k in lawyers fees - I took exams to prove I can write read and speak English - I maintained a decent level of fitness to pass my medical (cost more money in gym memberships) (I was born and bred in the UK and privately educated there) I bought a house before I was a PR - I had to jump through hoops and I played by the rules to get my PR (I am now a citizen) - I do not understand how these people think that they can just demand what I had to work so very hard to achieve...?

The Canadian visa system has been scammed by unscrupulous travel agents from Punjab and Gujarat. Its a mystery as to how illiterate villagers join Canadian colleges and get PR. Coming to a country as an international student is often a route or excuse some people use to enter countries and then later decide they don't want to return to their country of origin. They than start whining about the new country is their home and they don't their country of orgin or they pay taxes and they should get to stay in the new country. This has nothing to do with requirements for acceptance to emigrate to a new country.

Cut all government funding to universities and give the money directly to Canadian citizens who attend university. That way the international and local students can be on the same footing with no question that Canadian taxpayers are subsidizing foreign students while their own children cannot get admission. (The influx of foreign students is driving competitive admission grades to absurd levels, leaving Canadian students with relatively good marks, marks that were considered outstanding 30 years ago, unable to get into universities in their communities.)\n\nThe reality we have here is that Canadian taxpayers still shoulder the majority of education costs in Canada, but those same taxpayers' children are being denied education opportunities in their own communities because of foreign students. This has to stop, even if we have to fire every university administrator there is to get it done.

The government got greedy and are getting a kick back from all the universities and colleges for letting in so many of them to enroll in these bogus schools. The government also knows they can benefit from all of the money these international students are bringing in. The international students are a cash cow for the government.
