Seriously Indians don't come to Canada or Australia (the situation is exactly the same). The economies are going backwards. Good luck finding a place to live. The cost of living is sky high. You will struggle to find a job and will most likely end up driving ubers. There is far more opportunity in India. Stay home and build your own country instead of running off to someone else's.

Everyone is confusing the increase rate of housing aka the housing crisis to the influx immigrants. The reality is most of the homeless people are on the street because Canada has not been able to create employment, stop the drug problem, and provide the people who already having citizenship with proper social scheme benefits. People never ask the quition who is benefiting from the increase in housing prices or what will Canada do if they get the international students who are pouring money into Canada's GDP. It's a fact that Canada is not strong when it comes to manufacturing, growth and other aspects which make a country strong economically. Pushing out immigrants will only hurt the growth of Canada and nothing else.

You think at this age moving abroad to another country to work and settle down is a wise decision. So don't make a wrong move abroad as a married person or as woman to settle down outside Canada, because its the same everywhere. I have known people coming back to Canada as they grew old outside. Remember there is a difference between making money and secure life in the country which gave you identity. You and your parent were lucky you left Ukraine at the right time otherwise you would have been dead there by Russian bombing. So be patient and don't be lured by greed elsewhere as all those glitters are not gold. Problems are now everywhere ?

It amazes me why people do not understand that Canada will never stop immigration. Students come here to improve their knowledge and better their career opportunities, not to do low-wage jobs even after having a better degree than most Canadians don't. I suggest students come to Canada for a good degree program either a bachelor's or master's and then find a job in their line of education because you can see the draws happen at least twice a month.

I feel that guy from Ukraine. My wife is from Indonesia. She moved to the USA 3 years ago. She works 7 days a week at three jobs, somehow, happily and makes over $62k a year. I did not know that Canada was that hard off. Come down south brother. Cali is paying $20 an hour. I don't like California for my life but I would rather live there then get paid $3.50 for an uber delivery.

They come as international students, a condition for international studies in Canada (and most of the West) is to be able to afford your studies plus upkeep for the duration of study. However they start complaining about work and visiting food banks immediately they enter the country...moreover shouldn't graduates be going home and support the growth of their country.

If they spend a huge amount of money to get an education, then why are most of them taking useless courses that will leave them with no skills whatsoever????? Take an amazing course in India. I came to Canada 18 years ago from South Asia and work really hard to be in a position where I’m now. I’m not opposed to the immigrant anyway but why almost all the immigrants will come from a particular region? I don’t even recognize this country anymore. Canadian morales are down. So many people came so fast instead of learning Canadian value they are imposing south asian problem in Canadian society. People in South Asia laugh at Canada, and called Canadian govt cute and innocent cause they believe what every temp/student put their application and blindly bring them in Canada. I know thousands of ppl came to Canada by tourist visa and then stay in Canada. Govt even giving them monthly allowance. And I’m paying thousands of dollars in tax. Never mind they get spots in our schools at the expense of young Canadians who have to wait for seats in colleges and Uni’s.And since when do foreign students have a right to stay where they studied . Most Canadians I know who studied abroad were to come back home after graduation. I understand they may have been lied to but Canadian citizens are already having a hard time and these students are taking away jobs from our young Canadians ! Coffee shops have up to 80 percent of their employees are foreign while Canadians are homeless,jobless and houseless ! They come to Canada and do all the odd jobs except studies especially the students who study in colleges (not University)...
