Because people are still sold to the Canadian dream they immigrate but they don't know how hard it is to live here. I am native here and french canadian, so I won't leave my birthplace unless for France (I have the nationality) because I feel home with other quebecers like me. We don't feel really Canadian, but Québécois! And our people are talkative and friendly. I love the people here in Qc. Even if it`s a poor country now, I feel a lot of countries are going throught the same situation of mass immigration and low income. I bet there are nicer places than Canada, but not with our culture. I also love the first nations here.

Two massive, now irreversible problems. \n\nForeign (Chinese) real estate acquisitions/treating homes in Canada strictly as investments. Case in point, thousands upon thousands of empty condos in greater Vancouver. Which equates to a shortage of housing for people that have lived here and paid taxes their entire life, as a Canadian. Foreign real estate speculation and land purchasing has not only been allowed, AND encouraged, new properties/condos are being marketed in China well before they are IN Vancouver! Now, it's too late to plug the leak. Thus, rampant homelessness. \n\nCompletely irresponsible immigration policy. Nobody in their right mind would deny that a multicultural country like Canada needs immigrants. Especially with the aging population. But as far as accommodating/housing these people, we're not even close to being on target. We are not only putting the horse ahead of the cart, the horse hasn't even been born yet!\n\nNeither situation will be fixed anytime soon.

Canada is finished. Full of fraude and aggressive indians, terrorist like khalistani and others. Its look like third world now. Bring all problema from other world. Immigrants are so massive, that is scary mostly in big cities, we don't have this problem in the countryside. It is so rare to see new comers that had choose to work and live into 40 000 population city like mine. They are very welcome, we lack so much on workforce in every jobs and it is much more easy to find a place to stay. The biggest problem isn't immigration, it is those new jobs opportunities created when we still don't have workers to fill the gap elsewhere who need it most!\nAlso. immigrants to tends to choose living and working in cities as Montreal, Vancouver or Toronto. Canada isn't limited in those cities. Towns, countryside are options, the living cost of rent is lower, house cost less and driving 30minutes to 1 hour on the road to go work is what most does Canadian.

In my opinion The longer stay of immigrants like 20 years they get pensions which they don't have in Canada and move back to their own countries I would assume those who are not on wait list to recieve canadian citizenship fro perminant residence status have no intention of staying in Canada in the long run ir they would be also applying for citizenship not just perminant residency status in my opinion.

As a Canadian citizen I agree with you on a lot of things and the same thing applies to an extend to Canadian. As a Canadian I see my churches getting burned, I have been spit in my face by Muslim people either because I am not covered, but I’m Canadian why should I, right? There are a lot of scammers around the world. It is in your duty to identify them and never fall as prey. It's not Canada's fault that you are getting deported for false information. Scammers are getting better every time. It is your duty to do your own research so you won't get involved into this mess. They knew bullshit when they heard it. I served in the Canadian Army 1968-74. Like you, I've been a lot of places, and seen a lot of things. I do casual work at McMaster and interact with a lot of people. It feels like somebody else's country. Everyone seems so ignorant of our history. Worse, my Jewish friends no longer feel safe here. The Canada that I served so proudly as a soldier no longer exists. We could liquidate and leave, but these colours don't run.

Come to Surrey BC! I've lived here all my life, and live about 7km's from the house I was brought home as a baby, so I've never left this city, and I, like that gentleman and lady you talked to, often feel like I am the only Caucasian in Surrey! Go by any elementary school, and you'd find it difficult to see any hair colour than straight black! Like when I went to school, so many now are driven to school by parents or grandparents that where brought over to Canada as well, so traffic around schools very often is chaotic at best! The once peaceful sound of birds singing, is now taken up with sirens, from ambulance and fire trucks, it's hideous! I too would love to move, but we keep asking, 'where'...as we'd like to be in an area with just caucasians, to feel 'at home' again! It's not that I don't like the people, but most in Surrey, are much more well off than the average Canadian, driving high end cars, and even their teenage kids have high end vehicles. So, like many Canadians, I'd just like to see normalcy & common sense once again, and a complete end to immigration, until ALL of our crisis's are taken care of!

They can practice their religion and traditions like anyone else. Prices and rent are cheap, and I can live alone for only 300 Canadian dollars. However, because illegal residents have increased a lot, safety is worse than in Canada. Women are often raped by foreigners, but because Japan is a male-dominated country, most perpetrators are acquitted. A foreigner who raped a 7-year-old child was also acquitted. I’m a Canadian citizen. I married a Jewish African woman. And helped her get her citizenship after we got married here in Canada. Then we stood outside in the -20 degrees c freezing cold in a long lineup of good people trying to get their citizenships like my wife, all legally obeying the laws of Canada. Doctors take them first before helping a dying mother, father, brother or sister, infant and children pushed aside to save a drug addicts life first. I have been told many times this is also do to them taking care of the pouring in migrants and illegal immigrants using it all up. Where is love and justice?
