I live in Toronto, Canada.\n\nFirstly, their are 500 men,women and children being placed in hotels temporarily. Much better than cages! \n\nSecondly, these individuals have already gone through the immigration process, hearing claims, back ground checks, medical checks. So these individuals in hotels have already been accepted to stay in Canada. They are in hotels due to Housing shortage issue. \n\nThird, way more illegal immigrants have been detained and removed from Canada. \n\nFourth, most of these people are families. Canada is very skeptical of accepting males. Sorry guys! \n\nFifth, these hotels have a contract with the government. These are the same hotels that were used to temporarily shelter Syrian refugees. Usually 3-4 families stay in one hotel. 500 people won't be staying in the same hotel. Plus the hotels charge the government an insane amount. So they make money. \n\nSixth, more than 10% of hotel cleaning jobs go unfilled. Guess what? Most of these asylum seekers end up working in the hotels they're staying in because of program called Employing Newcomers in Canadian Hotels Project. \n\nDon't worry about us America we know what we're doing. Trust me, no children were separated from their families and placed in cages.

People who believe his BS should open ur door and invite the refugees to live at ur house and use ur money! \nAll the tax we pay benefits the people who don’t pay themselves. Those are the languages which will have real commercial use. But if you must learn Spanish, please go to Spain. That's the only place I've heard Spanish being spoken.

It sounds nice to say “Everyone has a human right to go where they want.” It isn’t so simple. If people come illegally, they affect everyone in the new country and all the people coming legally. If you detain them together with their family, you are incarcerating children, if you take the parents only you break up families. If you send them back with no detention and no appeals, you miss cases with legitimate grounds to have an exception. Bottom line, someone is on the losing end no matter which policies you use—it’s a fiction to say there is a win-win-win. So let’s make hard choices.

A lot of people comment about how illegal immigration is ok, and blah blah blah. It's simple to say that when you don't feel the direct impact. Change the US as a country to your house. Now let's say the neighbors land Lord is beating the shit outta everyone in that household (play on the violence that's happening in country of orgin). One of then move into your house without letting you know beforehand (illegals). Let's say you don't mind and understand why they did so. Now they work hard around the house and get a job to spend for themselves and send money next door to the family still left behind. . But they don't have to pay for electricity, gas (aka taxes). And since you own a 3 bed room house, things don't change that much. Now 2 more of the neighbors flee because of the asshole land Lord. Now you have to start working slightly harder to pay for your utilities aka taxes. Now you start seeing how more people affect your household. Now even more people flee the next door neighbors and you work even harder for utilities plus your trash is overflowing, have to invest in larger trash cans, fix the doors or ascetic's(pipes, faucets, tubs etc) in your house from over use or mismanagement. Plus you have to start driving their kids to school, you have to get a bigger vehicle (that's a play on the education systems bloating classroom problems)spend more on gas and car maintenance, and since they all don't speak English, to have to spend money on making signs to inform them of the house rules and dangers. You have to invest time out of your schedule to inform them how things work in your house hold because at their house they walked around naked or shit with the door open (play on different societal norms or religions) and may even have to alter your rules as not to impose and anger them. Know the house is over filled and they expect you to buy a bigger house (play on the welfare state)I mean I can go on... But people reading this can get the drift. Point is, yes i understand that people want a better life and all immgration in not necessarily evil, but you can't just let anyone come in because you feel bad. Making change based off emotions of a few is detrimental to the whole.

Laws are laws you seek asylum in the first safe landing not your choice of wherever whenever. Why then can I not leave Canada and go live in another country undocumented then when I fear deportation just go to another country? Because it's illegal yeah. It's actually really hard to sneak into Canada. On both sides they have lots of border patrol and really strict check points. Hell you need a passport to get in there now! You used to be able to get in with a licence only! I used to go there as a kid to drink beer. Anyhow my buddy got denied access for having an old dwi on his record.

Refugee status for what? It should be more easy to invade another country and use their welfare system for noncitizens... I think the time is came to look ourself... There is no holy book teach us to figting each other or creat terror....the reason is behind that few people who never know Quran. In general, people are not given to searching very hard for the truth. Being sinners, we humans are concerned with what pleases us-------the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life, as the Bible tells us. All this is sin, 'for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God' (Romans 3:23, New Testament). But islam so obviously uses religion to justify and cover up sin! Therefore those who are not brainwashed by it should be able to see through it, that it is a system of lies and oppression. \n\nIt is understandable when leaders of countries steeped in islam go along with it. But there is NO EXCUSE for leaders like Trudeau, who have NOT been brought up in it and yet support and promote it. Since going blonde, wearing eye contacts, and even lightening my eyebrows, people catch me off guard more often by approaching or chatting with me for a while in public/stores. I'm used to looking kind of quiet (had dark hair/eyebrows/eyes, wore dark clothes and makeup usually) and maybe now I might appear more approachable, because the blonde probably downplays my dark clothes and eye makeup, and my other heritage seems invisible (leaning more on looking 100% european, instead of 50% ecuadorian/latin).

This is a bit one sided as this study showed Caucasian businesses. How about Asian, Black or other races' establishments and see how they faired with racial profiling. I used to work with someone that worked for high end stores and she mentioned that they do actually go to class to spot someone that will actually spend money vs someone who just wants to window shop and yes they also taught racial profiling. Sales associates will cater more to well dressed shoppers compared to people who wears plain clothing.

Most the retail places i am not sure.. and I am not going to say that racism doesn't happen in these stores because i don't know for certain.. but i am going to post something to think about.. If their best buy is like the best buy where I live.. I knew people who worked best buy.. and certain floor reps get paid at least in part via commission.. or at least they use to.. typically the ones that approach you are the ones working to make sales.. they will usually only do so in certain areas though.. such as Computer area, home entertainment area, appliance area, phone area, POSSIBLY game area particularly if they notice you looking at the consoles, and occasionally I get approached when i am looking at personal entertainment stuffs such as the decent headphone and ipod/mp3 player area... If you stick to CDs, movies and stuff that you can just grab .. typically they wont bother you much.. unless you linger there too long.. then a floor rep might think you might need help looking at something.. In my experience they are just overly hover because they have to be.. but unless you are looking at something that is a focus of sales or a board employee finds you .. you almost have to hunt down reps to help you with something..

They can go to rich gulf states or Saudi Arabia to practise their faiths and using these burkas all as much as they want, why they come to Canada if they don't want to integrate to our society anyhow? for welfare? Those who are real refugees welcome but others bye bye.

I'd like to address this to the woman who went to one of Trump's rallies dressed as a Moslem with her head covered with a scarf and having a sign that reads, 'I come in peace'. I don't know why she was asked to be escorted out, but by her own words the people in the crowd were throwing questions at her as to whether she had a bomb under her cloak. Well, whether she knew it or not, she provoked the crowd by wearing the mark of a Moslem - her cloak. Also, by going to the rally dressed the way she was, she knew before hand that she'd be treated that way. On her part, I see that as provocation. Had she gone plainly dressed or attired like everybody else, there would have been no adverse reaction toward her. I don't know what she could have said why she was asked to be escorted out, but she fully knows that the whole of America had been given the real and true picture of Islam - one of terror, murder, beheading, bombs, war, and blood. How do Moslems expect the most compassionate, kind, benevolent people in the world to act? So, please, use your common sense and do not see America as the enemy, the aggressor, or the provocateurs. They're not. They are just being vigilant knowing that the enemy could be so sly, cunning and untrustworthy. Islamic people,we welcomed you to our country. Don't think that we are not watching you. We have given you a new start for a happy life compared to the life you have had in your native lands, but we are guarding against an invasion that your evil governments have designed for our beloved country. The truth of the matter is that you are our guests in our country, and you don't have he right to demand of us what you like, especially when you want us to change our laws just to accommodate or please you. The issue is islam, not all muslims. Unfortunately those two often go hand in hand, making it hard to criticizes islam without people thinking you are criticizing all muslims, which isn’ the case. \n\nThe issue with the religion of islam is that it is inherently not peaceful (If you want to discuss why that is more so the case than other religions we can do that). In fact in many situations you will hear Islamic muslins part of a western country use the free speech given to them, under the laws and constitution of that society, in order to impose the suggestion of sharia law. This would mean no more free speech (and far more dire consequences) for others not of islamic belief under sharia law. Sharia law is a set of religious political laws used in the majority of middle eastern Islamic countries and cultures. It is truly a backward and barbaric set of laws, incompatible with democracy and I encourage you to investigate that claim. \n\nSo essentially decreasing islam in any scenario will also decrease the political climate it wants to live in. And not only live in, but given to text in the Koran, effectively dominate. Religious assimilation and toleration is not part of the religion. And in the small case that it is, those religious peoples are second class citizens. \n\nSo you can see how it may sound harsh to say “get rid of islam/muslims” if you are ignorant to the fact of both their possible separation and islam’s eventual political goals. \n\nNot all muslims want sharia law or are as fundamental/radical as others, but that distinction can be hard to make for many people, when a lot of them are silent. All you see are the riots and bombings across the globe by radical islamists, with little or no condemnation by the former. However once again I state, the issue is islam, not all muslims.\n\nIf you think I myself am ignorant of any of this information please attempt to convince me otherwise and I will thoroughly read your argument.

I limit my visits to Toronto. When I see a covered woman/man (you don't know) on the subway, I feel fear. It angers me since I used to love going to the big city in my younger years. No I go only if I have to.

Adopt our ways and customs or go home to the land of sand . We will not change our country to fit you . Burkas need to be banned here , its not the Canadian way . Tolerance is not a one way street. Canadians (and other westerners) should wake up and realize that, and also form a basic understanding about the evils of islam, that muslims stand for.\nMany douchebags and pseudo-liberals of the Ben Affleck kind, will go to great lengths to defend islam and muslims while knowing absolutely nothing about that religion or its followers, with the only purpose being to selfishly display how PC they are. A true liberal person will value their acquired freedoms and privileges, and not be tolerant of the intolerant. Furthermore, real leaders should not be afraid to bring these points up, backing them up with hard evidence (not just hear-say or opinions), for the purpose of protecting civilised society: so that muslims and non-muslims all can understand why islam is incompatible with western civilisation. If muslims are offended by any of that, then that offence is brought on by themselves. PC has no place here.\n\nHere are some reasons why islam is incompatible with civilised society:\n1. Muslims consider the quran to be the perfect book and their prophet to be the perfect man, who's behaviour is to be aspired to, so perfect that any imagery of him does him great injustice and is forbidden. Other than being plain stupid, this in itself doesn't affect civilised society much (except free speech when drawing cartoons), but this does becomes a critical point in combination with the next points:\n2. A perfect man does not marry a 6 year old girl and then f*ck her when she's 9. But that's what their perfect prophet did and they know it, often justifying it as being in a different time. Well no time ever has been ok for a 50+ year old man to f*ck a 9 year old. \n3. In this religion that muslims consider perfect, apostasy is to be punished by death (quran 4:89). This combined with the fact that muslims consider their religious doctrines more important than man-made (western) law is something that makes them incompatible with civilised society. Of course they benefit from the civilised society, but not vice versa. \n4. Then there are the many verses in the quran that order muslims to fight non-muslims (and specifically jews), order death for adultery and homosexual behaviour, etc. Just search and you'll find as there are way too many to list here. Islam is an extremely controlling religion, it intervenes in everything aspect of human life, even as far as with which hand is to be used for eating and which for wiping off after taking a dump. It also declares itself to be the only true and last religion leaving no space for other religions or atheism. This is what makes it such a totalitarian and fascist religion.\n\nMuslims won't deny these points I listed, but they often will try to evade addressing them. \nToo keep a long story short: if you are really a tolerant/liberal person, then you stand your ground and stand for civilised principles, and don't tolerate or defend islam like some traitorous PC pseudo-liberal Ben Aslick sort of character.

I used to be a very liberal person for most of my life and tolerant of other cultures and religious faith, like many others I may add.\n However my tolerance is wearing somewhat thin, like many others I may add again, after hearing the same old opinions coming from Muslims repatriated in western societies. \n They come into our cultures on mass and never assimilate into ours, but create their own little pockets of cultural being within our national borders.\n We hear time and again how the indigenous populist must be accepting of them, even though very few are accepting of our culture, using an analogy it's akin to inviting a stranger into your home and give them a safe place to live, food, money and all items that go along with it, and the next thing their sat on your favourite chair with your remote in their hand, even going to bed with your wife!\n We need to wear our head covering it's our right they chant, OK then, afford the same favours to us in your country, let my partner wear her bikini when she's walking down the road, let us drink alcohol, build Christian churches, you get where I'm going with this.\n If it's so great there why do you choose to live here? All the customs you seek are there if you feel that uncomfortable here? \nGiving Sewden as an example, there are now 180 Muslim 'ghettos' not the same you get in the US as the accommodation and welfare is quite generous there, a lot of them are 'No-go' areas even for the police, they mostly hate the Swedish people, a criminal element there will only rob off the swedes, and rape has gone up tenfold committed mostly by the Muslims, and it's only going to get worse as they are accepting another forty thousand of them, even though they have a crisis of a shortage of housing. \n If you ever needed an example of when your political parties have totally lost the plot, and are insanely progressive and what your country could become, then use Sweden as a barometer as to what your country could also decay into.\n The Muslims hate use, hate our freedoms, and just think of us as 'infidels' , multiculturalism has proved on this scale that it does not work, unless immigrants come with the mindset that they assimilate into the culture they are heading for, not the other way around.

The thing is that they use our freedom of choice and freedom of speak to implement/spread their religion interests. Minorities in islamic countries, mostly christians, aren't allowed to show their religion publicly. \nThey even implement in Norway that news anchors are not allowed to wear any religion jewelry like a cross anymore. They've complained about it and now its forbidden.\nIslamic interests have more weight than christians, in a christian country? \nThere is something really wrong going on...

I totally agree it was wrong to go to Afganistan and Iraq and it was disgusting to see the atrocities committed on innocent people by the soldiers out there and I know that not all muslims are bad, I don't hate muslims simply because they are muslims, I don't want anyone to die either, I wish there could be peace, but it's something in Islam that has to evolve to stop so many using their religion as an excuse to go out and kill because clearly there is a problem there

Media is something we at this day of age rely on on a day to day base, it has the power to make a person from hero to zero or ther way round, man if go look at all news channels from sky news to Chinese news, there are owned by USA and Britain and they have central media station which is controlled by this two countries, now from this headquarter the rest of the world news chanels follow
