My experiance with German culture is kind of simillier. All though I am not from Germany but from Austria.\nThe simillierities are kinda parallel. \n- The housing market is getting worse everyday.\n- Compared to the other countries the job market is not that matured. Specially in tech. The salaries are capped and you can reach the ceiling super quickly.\n- All though I don't have any friends here, my overall experience with people weren't that bad, specially considering I don't speak German.\n- Occational racism? sure. But there were good people as well. And I think there are bad people everywhere.\n\nAll though I was mentally at a bad place after a year living in here, what helped me better my mental health was realizing that my worth does not comes from other people, and not everyone needs to me my friend. \n\nTips if you're a newcomer.\n- Realize that people are not cold because you look different, but sometimes its the culture, so do not take it personally.\n- Be polite to other people and don't be apologetic if you can not speak german while taking services, often time speaking in easy english without thinking of grammers helped me making people feel easy to communicate with me.\n- Meeting people would be hard, so rather than trying to make friends everywhere try to join an activity that you actually enjoy, often time you will meet likeminded people that you can build true friendship with.\n- And be respectful to their culture.

A government can’t make housing affordable for its people is a failure government

There’s been a massive increase of non productive Indians coming into this country. Those people are tarnishing the reputation of Indians in Canada. They aren’t here legally and coming through as students and making demands to OUR government. Fighting in our streets. THEY need to go.

I think it boils down to the issue of mass immigration as you pointed out earlier in the video. People don’t like to observe sudden and drastic transformation of their country’s cultural and ethnic make up. The Trudeau government is the one primarily responsible for this when he’s importing half a million immigrants a year not only it causes housing shortage but also not enough time to integrate the migrants that are coming and it becomes unsustainable. Hence when there’s stories such as “pooping on the beach by East Indian migrants” emerges it simply shows a symptom of unsustainable immigration where some immigrants bring in their disgusting 3rd world habits and don’t realize the common sense social norms that exist in the country they’ve migrated to and learn to adapt. And yes there are way too many Indians in Canada and it’s quite noticeable, they often don’t respect Canadian culture and values and don’t properly integrate.

Bring in philipinos , Latinos.korean,vietnamese hard working people respecfull to other race culture and religious background that have come here to embrace our system and be part of it not to import the reason why they should of left their country and creating their own sectors weather it be where they live do business or who they employ. The Punjab community has by my views the largest percentage of racist people in Canada. Let's make it simple I have never seen a Punjab family accept their daughter or sister dating or marrying outside of their religion or race. I am sure that it has happen but it is probably very rare for the simple reason that any other group no matter the individual is scum to them

No wonder we have so many low-skilled immigrants in recent years. Thanks to this dumbest policy issued in 2020, we basically opened the door and welcomed visitors to get work permits whenever they want. labor shortage due to covid?\nShould have ended this stupid policy in 2022 when everything was opening up and getting better already. Also, instead of improving the working environment and coming up with solutions for the local Canadian workforce to cope with covid impacts, we just welcomed all random visitors to come to Canada to work. all these indian new comers in the past 3-4 years have used the loopholes of this policy with the help of unethical Indian immigration agents and employers who are only trying to save money to provide them employment letters so they could get work permits \nNo wonder we have so many low skilled Indians that have brought and created issues in Canada. Have we noticed car accident rates increase? The unethical visits to the food bank? The grants and money from our tax money that the government gives out to these people for their low income status?\n\nI am an immigrant myself and have known many Indians that are high skilled and making great contribution to Canada. \nWe completed our legitimate degrees in Canada, applied for our work permits, got good jobs and paid our taxes, working hard to make contribution to this country. \n\nIt makes me sick to see the government and this stupid policy just unfairly allow these individuals to come to Canada and stay and possibly get their PR.\n\nHow about the hard working high skilled immigrants that fought hard and actually earned our spots to stay in Canada.

When india can get its overpopulation and poverty problem under control, and migrate here without importing bad third world behaviors, then they'd have a better reception in Canada. \n \nThe blatant corruption and third world mindset that abounds in India is going to destroy Canada unless something is done to curtail it. \n \nBangladesh is less than a tenth of the land mass of Alberta and Bangladesh has 171 million people. \n \nYou cannot tell me that people who come from such conditions could ever understand or value what makes Canada different in terms of sanitation and prosperity when the experience of people in India and neighboring regions is so different. \n \nAll I ever hear from Indians is their lack of comprehension or value that lower populations has, in fact many of them have contempt for the fact that anglo westerners don't want to live in dirty and overcrowded conditions. \n \nImporting hundreds of thousands of people with that mindset is going to cause intractable problems with the host country, and you can cry racism all you want, but it doesn't change the fact that there are obvious incompatibilities between people of the overcrowded third world and first world nations.

The U.S. feels the same way about people from India. You dont belong here in the west, aren't wanted here, aren't welcome here. It boggles the mind that all you foreigners insist on placing yourselves where your NOT WELCOMED. Your so arrogant you dont care which makes you all the more unwelcome. Take the not so subtle hint and go back where you belong.

Moving too many people in too fast. Which ultimately drives some of those people into crime. Once they're involved in crime, very unlikely they'll make it out of crime.

Seeing the long comments of your subscribers, I or anyone can understand how hurt they are. I at times feel, politicians are so, that they always make others feel, yesterday was better than today and people yearn, Yesterday once more. ?

Hey Igor, I feel your view is understandable but the issue I see is mostly in Ontario. There are many examples of people who seem to be from a particular community creating issues there, I have heard of persons who don't seem to understand how to communicate and making things difficult for other groups of people, coming to canada to work and slacking in their studies which is why they are in canada and also where people who are PR unable to get a job because only international students are getting hired. but I agree the government need to put better regulations in place to prevent people from being taken advantage of and hire people based on qualification and make the work place more diverse where possible with fair wages that are liveable as well as understand that they sold canada as the place to be for anyone to gain citizenship from the education stream

the 70,000 students were coming in illegally i believe, 70k out of 1million+ that have come per year isn't so bad. I blame this whole situation 100% on the government and it totally does suck that these 70k people coming in are going to be deported but again there were and are so much scams that have been going on. If they lied and cheated on the system i don't think we should feel bad. Canada used to have higher standards. My family obviously are immigrant too but there has been no background checks, no proper procedure in the last few years and 2 races have been getting preferential treatment. Most if not all people that come in from Africa are left on the streets while the your country men, indian, and white looking are given a free house, food budget, and dont have to work.. We paying more for taxes and the government has increased work force by 40% yet wait time for services has trippled 3X, make it make sense.

It's called a temporary visa ...not a permanent live in Canada visa ... Canadians are suffering as it is we don't need more people to make matters worse .

I am West Indian, descendent of India indentured workers. I love my country of birth, Canada where I have lived since 3, and I have much love and pride in my Indian roots. That being said, I have come to feel embarrassed of being taken for East Indian by other Canadian people. I moved to small city outside of Toronto in 2004. I loved it here! People were so welcoming, kind, friendly. I felt no prejudicial treatment from any of my neighbours. \nFast forward, my little city is now overrun with new Indian immigrants. I can’t tell if I am in the heart of Toronto or Brampton or my city of Oshawa. \nThe Indian people I encounter in the grocery store are pushy, have no Canadian manners, speak their language loudly, come to the stores with their entire family which fills up the isles and cause long lines. All the sale items are sold out by the time you get there because Indians are filling their cart with as much as they can purchase of any of the on sale merchandise. This never happened before. \nI am also saddened by being assaulted when an Indian person passes by and wave of body order sickens me. I don’t understand what the cause of that is. Not bathing regularly or not using deodorant. But I notice this everywhere I come in contact with Indians, men and women, young and old. \nI feel like I will be mistaken for East Indian myself which I have been when I went to the hospital. I was treated like I couldn’t speak English lol\nThe worst is the Muslims, they are the rudest the way they fill every available free space, make women feel uncomfortable and are just intrusive and unable to incorporate themselves with other Canadians. They also have a superiority attitude. \nThis is a plan honest list of observations. I hope they learn to integrate with Canadian culture, improve their language skills and learn proper hygiene. Pls just shower. Or at least be friendly and try to adapt. You people act so spiritual and morally upright but unfortunately Canadians born here have not seen any effort on Indians end. Core and the only Problem is that, Indian Government doesn’t give a fuck abt his own people. Folks just want to hoard money by being in Politics and no actual development in the country. And thats why people go out of the country in the hope of better life. \n\nIf government (its basically Indian people) stays the same, nothing will change. I found it so interesting and I think you will too! :) \n\nThe other day I met two Polish people who said even though they were making better money in Canada, it did not make up for the lifestyle (the very things you mentioned earlier in the video). They can’t wait to move back, the money they make isn’t worth what’s going on here. I thought that was so interesting.

Your video is pretty much on point. Nice info. The only thing that concerns me is the depicting Sikhs as violent people. It's true that a very small percentage which is probably less than 0.5 % of the sikh population does these so called separatist protests, you cannot paint the whole community as such by showcasing Sikhs in the video. This incites more hatred in an already very polarized environment. Sikh community has innense contribution towards the nation probably more than any other community given the percentage it represents. I would suggest people to do fact checking and reading history from a neutral mindset to spread more positivity. Please make a video on the contribution of Sikhs so that this new found trend of associating Sikhs with terrorism can come to an end.

Hey,\n\nI don’t know how popular you are but I am hoping that you (or someone else reading) can make some short shareable etiquette videos for Indian immigrants. I am constantly annoyed by the following, but because I was born in Canada, I would be cancelled for saying the things you can. I am also Indian. Here’s the list that comes to mind. I might come back and edit this because I am sure there are things I am forgetting: \n\n- coughing into your elbow instead of your hands (literally watched a guy yesterday on the bus cough into his hands then put his hands onto the support bar)\n\n- Standing to the side and letting people off the train so you can get on instead of trying to walk through people who are trying to get off \n\n- Standing up and moving to the side to let somebody off on an inside seat of the bus. I have a butt. I don’t want to be squeezing by you \n\n- Taking off their backpack while standing on the bus and putting it between their legs\n\n- Moving to the back of the bus instead of crowding by the doors\n\n- Standing in lines to get onto the bus instead of crowding\n\n- Not littering. Either put your garbage in the bin or take it with you. Stop leaving it on the beach or on hiking trails.\n\n- Learn about hiking before attempting it. We have people going up in jeans and flip flops in the evening and getting stuck on mountains or injured. Some wear running shoes but they don’t have enough traction for the trail\n\n- Shovel the sidewalk in front of your home when it snows\n\n- Stop dousing yourself with axe body spray. \n\n- Understand that Indian food makes your clothes smell. It gives off oils that get stuck in everything. Open your windows and doors when cooking to minimize this as much as possible. You won’t be able to resolve this entirely but do what you can. The skytrain now smells like Indian food even when empty. \n\n- Stop riding your bikes and scooters on the sidewalk. It’s illegal and you have a responsibility to learn the rules \n\n- Stop hiring everybody that you know. Before nepotism was all about networking, but nowadays, it seems to be about hiring Indian people that you know. I am being discriminated by employers because they think I will do the same once I am in. Diversity in teams matters. Indian immigrants don’t seem to believe in this and think all that matters is the most qualified get the job. This is how you end up building facial recognition models that don’t recognize Black people. \n\n- You work at McDonald’s. Stop blasting Indian music. The McDonald’s by my place is blasting Indian music from the back and it overtakes the restaurant music. \n\n- In a work environment, even if it is all Indians, speak English. You ostracize your fellow colleagues and customers. You are also not improving your English skills by speaking in your primary language.\n\n- Make an effort to make non-Indian friends. It’s really intimidating even as an Indian to see large packs of Indian men\n\n- Learn how to swim. Every year we have multiple drownings at a lake because Indian people are unprepared for the reality of the water. This is a basic safety skill.\n\n- Stop staring at women. Even as an Indian woman I get stared at by these guys. Just stop. \n\n- Get headphones. Playing music or having conversations on speakerphone in public places is rude and very inconsiderate of others \n\n- Stop cheating. Whether that’s cheating the system or during classes. We grow up here and environment that even though we can cheat, the culture makes it completely unethical and you just don’t. The consequences are significant. I get it that you come from a country that doesn’t have enough resources for its population, but you give the entire Indian community a bad name when you cheat, lie, and do other unethical things.\n\n- Learn about Canadian values. The Canadian charter of rights and freedoms exists. Under it cases were won supporting equality for women, LGBTQ rights, etc. this is built into our constitution and it’s so ridiculous to come across people who don’t adopt Canadian values. Why choose Canada if you want a culture of what’s back at home. \n\n- I get it that our healthcare system needs to improve but am disappointing reading advocacy for private healthcare in Indian Facebook groups in Canada. Tommy Douglas was voted as the greatest Canadian. He is the founding father of our nationalized healthcare system. For the most part, Canadian are happy that we don’t have a healthcare system like the United States, where your access is determined by your employer or your income. We don’t go bankrupt when we have a health emergency. Go back to India or go to another place where you can pay for private healthcare, but stop advocating to transition our healthcare system to a private system. While you’re at it go look up who was determined to be some of the greatest Canadians.

India is currently exporting far too many people to Canada. The mass immigration into Canada is causing huge problems throughout the country. Canadian people are angry because the mass immigration is destroying wages, causing a massive housing crisis and mass inflation on food and everything.\n\nThis is not purely the fault of the Indian people... It is mostly the fault of politicians, corrupt profiteers from cheap imported labour and immigrants entering Canada through false pretenses and illegal entry. An example that really angers many Canadians is the turban. Would the Indian people accept Canadians if they demanded India change to make them more comfortable there?

Trudeau has taken the Multi out of “Multiculturalism” Canadians and Indians have different values and if we Canadians mention this we are shamed and labeled as racist. I have a few Indian friends and they even say that immigration to Canada from India has gone out of balance. Many Indian people don’t assimilate into western living and many try to find loopholes they can exploit. I don’t like that Sikh men can bring daggers to places like the gym, it makes me feel uncomfortable working out beside someone with a big knife. Indian people wearing a Turban don’t have to wear helmets when riding their motorcycles. If a white Canadian took a big hunting knife into a gym they would be escorted out by the RCMP, and would be ticketed and fined for not wearing a motorcycle helmet. While sitting with one of my Indian friends he mentioned how he would hate to be me, I asked him why, he said as an Indian he can do what he wants and if I say anything I’m shamed and considered a racist. ??

Present Canadian govt is dependent on DNP of Jagmeet Singh (Khalistani supporter). He can make Trudeau dance to his tune. Canadians of Indian origin mostly from Punjab are Khalistani sympathizers and they have fomented enough trouble locally in Canada and are primarily responsible for the poor relations between India and Canada. \n\nSecondly Indian emigration is of highly skilled work force consisting of doctors, scientists, financial experts, bankers, professors, businessman, politicians, and logistics business experts etc. They contribute to the treasury by paying the highest taxes than any other immigrant including european settlers. By and large Indians are peace loving people and excel in their fields. Now Indian origin people are into politics and Canada has a few MPs of Indian origin serving as ministers of defense, foreign affairs etc. \n\nThis xenophobia has to stop. Every wave of immigrants to the new continents have faced these problems be it Irish, Italian, Spanish, Dutch or East European immigrants. The process of assimilation takes a long time and in the meantime there would be some hiccups to which the society will eventually adapt. Every new immigrant group faces hostility from the earlier settled immigrants. It's much harder if the new immigrants don't look like the earlier settled immigrants. This is natural !!!.

In the last 4 years I have been nearly hit by Indian immigrant drivers who do not obey traffic laws in Ontario. I have met drivers driving the wrong way on way streets Indian, Drivers making illegal U turns and nearly hitting me Indian, drivers who change lanes in the middle of intersection Indian, every time my phone rings there is an Indian pretending to be CRA, or Amazon trying to scam money. Every fast food place is staffed by Indians who barely speak English can't be understood and fuck up the order. I have Indian customer ask me to break the law and carry more passengers than there are seat belts in my van I am tired of it I am tired having to compete against international students who come here on student visa's to study at some scam diploma mill college but not go to any classes and drive Uber. I am tired of having to play by the rules and compete with people who say fuck the rules. So don't let the door hit you fuckers on the way out.

So....let me get this right. You go to a country as a student & want to remain in the country forever. I think if we take the racism card off the table and think about these issues colour blind we might make more progress. Thank you for your proper thinking on this issue. I think the law enforcement should start giving people who are breaking the law more punishment when caught. There is no excuse for some of these very bad things being done. I don't want anyone to be arrested because they are Indian... or from any other background. If someone is pooping on a beach, or breaking the laws, they are criminals and should be punished. I have nothing against anyone who wants to be a positive part of Canada. I like anyone who is respectful and kind. But I do not like criminals, and I think criminals should be punished when caught.

Indian Middle Class keep having kids and throws them into this competition of 140 Crore people with the only hope that they will clear IIT and/or immigrate to West. The Middle class parents who can't even buy a house for themselves keep bringing kids to India's competition without any thought that they are making their lives and kids lives worse as they have no plans for future. Unless you own your own house and have passive income do not bring little kids to India which off course will never become like Canada or US as what matters is GDP/Capital and not just GDP. So the root cause of India's problems is Over Population and Crowding of Major Cities. 140 crore and growing is the bane of India.

Part of the problem is our politicians becoming so corrupt working With your countrymen getting your kickbacks from a temporary foreign worker program. a temp work a program that's been going on for over 30 years so I hardly think it's temporary don't you? they don't realize how pissed off their constituents are. And trust me and once we actually figure out the level of your corrupting our institutions you're going to pay for what you've done because there's obviously been some type of conspiracy going on everyone knows it. when there are so many coincidences that there's no longer a rationale to judge it coincidence There's little point in US pretending that everything is hunky-dory and hey it must be just simply a misunderstanding no it's you guys sabotaging Canada and other parts of the West. How quickly companies like Nortel were totally destroyed and then we have a weird quickest tendency of something like Huawei. With obviously knock off the products that took a hell a lot of research and development for companies like Nortel who actually did the work to make. Let's see how well they're actually able to innovate when they actually no longer have access to the cookie jar. It pisses me off like we've done so much on this planet to actually push Humanity forward into a much more modern era where would be nice to travel to the Stars mind you like Country like we are nothing but Scoundrels and we had nothing but yeah. I am an Indian and I am disgusted to see what fellow Indians have done to Canada! They come here with their total lack of civic sense! I was born and raised in Calcutta as we navigated daily through filth and dirt on the streets - not only because of the poor on the street - but bec of everyone else who walks around and thinks nothing of throwing their garbage on the streets, spitting and blowing their noses on the streets and even in buildings - stairway landings, or peeing in the open - in public spaces or against building walls, etc.. Narcissistic, selfish drivers who cut people off, break the traffic rules, grab parking spots, etc.. They come here and make every effort to Indianize Canada - to make this into India instead of respecting this country that has generously and (ignorantly!!) allowed them in!! If they want to live their Indian culture in an 'Indian environment' - then for goodness sake - GO BACK TO INDIA and clean up that country your call your 'matri bhoomi' - your Mother!! The presenter is right - Indians (and Sri Lankans, Bangladeshis and Pakistanis too included here - all with the same mentality!) have dragged down the customer service experience in stores and restaurants. Indians are usually polite but they are not good at maintaining a high standard of customer service! Employees in Walmart, Costco, Tim Hortons (especially!), etc., are seen standing around, chatting with each other in their Indian languages instead of being professionally attentive to customers. The shopping experience is not pleasant like it was 25 years ago!! Your remarks are not harsh and Indians NEED to take it personally and be embarrassed into doing the necessary to make the changes they need to. We immigrated to Canada not to come to 'another India' - we came to Canada and would like to live in this country to appreciate it's uniqueness and contribute to maintaining it the way it has been! The presenter has done a good job with this video. Very fair. I have family in the USA the people are fantastic, nice places, better earnings in some jobs worse in others. The best reason to move there is opportunities if you are a band or entertainer, actor. Teachers in Canada make $60,000 to $100,000.Because our Prime Minister is leaning towards dictatorship my stance on gun laws are changing to the American view. Hopefully the next election will reverse the censorships and overreach of this particular government.

Please make sure you highlight on how China has retained it's Culture and identity which the Indians lack, we have an identity crisis too. Everyone is confusing the increase rate of housing aka the housing crisis to the influx immigrants. The reality is most of the homeless people are on the street because Canada has not been able to create employment, stop the drug problem, and provide the people who already having citizenship with proper social scheme benefits. People never ask the quition who is benefiting from the increase in housing prices or what will Canada do if they get the international students who are pouring money into Canada's GDP. It's a fact that Canada is not strong when it comes to manufacturing, growth and other aspects which make a country strong economically. Pushing out immigrants will only hurt the growth of Canada and nothing else.

You think at this age moving abroad to another country to work and settle down is a wise decision.
