I lived there for a few years. It has both the cultural Islamic aspect but is also\nDeveloped and modern enough to enjoy. My issue with Dubai is that has lost its Islamic culture and unfortunately I feel that a lot of the Gulf countries are quite shallow and vain when it comes to money and materialism, something I worry about when raising my children as well. But oman literally has it all and their pay is high plus one of the highest currencies.

My family moved 22 years ago from Mumbai to Toronto…while the struggles said on your channel are real, there are also perks which I feel like you didn’t get to experience. If people have good jobs, stable family life then DON’T move…culture shock is huge that people moving from India don’t consider, just by wearing and eating western food doesn’t make you western! \nThere are sacrifices to be expected which you don’t realized as your great grandparents or grandparents might have made when they started out! \nMoving to another country is never easy, unless you’re loaded with $$$. People in India are lazy as they have people working for them and don’t realize how difficult it is living outside of that lifestyle (not everyone in India can afford housekeepers, cleaners). Being independent and doing things on your own has its own positive (just need to figure it out). \n\nI have worked in healthcare for 16 years and let me tell you…social system works better as everyone gets the health service without being judged about $$. Healthcare is based on priority around the world but people don’t understand this as they feel like their problem should be attended first no matter what! \nNot all drugs are legal in Canada, marijuana is legal though with acceptable limits…you probably were misinformed about drugs! Teach your kids about right /wrong when it comes to drugs, smoking, alcohol and that’s the best you can do! I know people who live in India and do all that which you mentioned you were worried about for your kids. \n\nWhat you experienced was a classic case of culture shock and your expectations didn’t match the reality! Moving away from family, changing lifestyle and being responsible adult (doing things on your own rather than relying on workers) is difficult but doesn’t make the country bad that have you an opportunity to settle! Don’t take things for granted even while you live in India…appreciate the effort that goes into everything- keeping roads clean, people working hard, etc. \n\nBest advice I can give to those considering moving to any foreign country is: Keep an open mind, be ready to work hard and visit the country you want to move to before you make the grave decision of uprooting everything! Things usually turn around and get better after 5 years mark- focus on upgrading your education if you have a basic degree from India (even you know how competitive things are in India, so how can western world not be!)\n\nBeing vegetarian- things are tough when it comes to food but living in Toronto has never been an issue. Even people living in India avoid outside food due to hygiene reason which is not a problem in Canada as food inspection is pretty strict (having worked with ministry of health). \nCities like Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, etc has variety of food options (including veg)…just have to be really open to trying other cultural food (Asian, Mediterranean, Italian,Mexican, etc). My parents are strict vegetarians and have never truly struggled when they are out. \n\nCost of living is definitely higher as the standard living is higher compared to India. Education (until grade 12) and healthcare are free (in reality, you pay tax for it), you get pension when you retire (based on your contributions and type of jobs you had)…you failed to navigate the system and I will say having family around is why you didn’t take opportunity to explore and learn on your own. \n\nPlease don’t come to Canada and make life difficult for other Indians who choose to willingly accept the culture and lifestyle here after going through this hardship- cost of living and housing has gone up dramatically in major cities because of immigration influx! If you’re serious about moving and putting up, only then move! Otherwise all the best for your future endeavours!

Why and how the great, rich North America got to this state of misery in 21 century?! What are the real reasons? For example why in 21 century there are more mental disorder patients whom are not supported by a rich , resourceful government and eventually end up to the streets?! Why there was not such problem in 19 or 20 th centuries? How the society was taking care of them back then? Or, why when people lose their physical ability to work, there is not a system of permanent support for them? Why there are not enough houses built for those who have been disadvantaged for real reasons? I mean most of these homeless people are not addicted. A lot of them are willing to work and contribute to society, yet there are not enough support for getting them back to a normal lifestyle! Why rich governments are not making their countries a better , healthier, safer place for their citizens? But only having talks in wef conferences! It sounds all fishy and intentional to me. They should have come up with ways of solutions to end this. Yet we see it getting deeper and bigger. Isn’t it weird that over 350 000 people are homeless in a vast, rich country such as Canada?!

I mean if he offers them asylum and then no one comes, we can believe what he says otherwise Its hard to just belive what he is saying.. If Hamas cared about their citizens, they’d have a plan for them and their safety once they initiated this war on Oct 7th. But it seems like Hamas’s only plan for them was to be disposable pawn martyrs caught in between them and Israeli forces. \n\nYou can’t torture, rape and kill 1,400 Israeli citizens/foreign nationals and take 200+ hostages back to Gaza during a depraved terrorist attack and then cry ceasefire when that country declares war and is winning. Especially when you’re still holding onto hostages and not honoring the terms of the first ceasefire by letting the Red Cross see the hostages. \n\nIf these other countries cared about the Palestinians, they’d take any refugees that wanted to leave. They clearly don’t want to do that for some reason. They’re watching from afar with their popcorn, saying “isn’t it terrible what the Israeli’s are doing.. but we won’t let them come here to escape, which would let the Israelis fight this war with Hamas, who initiated it, without civilians in between.” With no mention of how Hamas as put them in the middle and isn’t protecting them. Also no mention of any responsibility Hamas has for bring this war onto them by the large scale terrorist attack, that includes hundreds of civilian hostages of all ages.

People do come into Canada but u also have to count how many people are also leaving . After living here for a 1-2 people leave . Houses are overpriced most of the time it’s cold. I believe it’s time to take the foot off the immigration pedal. The numbers are wayyyy too high and we are starting to have serious difficulties in integrating the numbers that are coming to our shores as witnessed by ghettoization and rising crime numbers in communities. The immigration numbers are having a disastrous effect on the housing market for both established Canadians and immigrants. The high numbers are also putting unprecedented pressure on our healthcare regime which was not designed to serve the increasing numbers. What I find extremely difficult to understand is our inability to take care of our First Nations population by providing them with more opportunities, better housing and clean drinking water, yet invite people to our land who have tenuous and transient loyalties to the nation. Ultimately we arent doing immigrants any favours by inviting them to a nation that’s finding it increasingly difficult to get its act together.

This is not true. 250,000 Palestinians have fleed Gaza strip before 7/10. For months, Gaza's residents are begging Egypt to accept them as refugees, but no Arab state would take them because they know that if they come there, there will be terror organizations operating in that state.

To be honest. That land has been conquered by so many different armies over the eons. Whomever conquers the land,and defends it, owns it, until another army comes along and takes it by force. If you want it bad enough, go take it, but it will always come at a high price. As in all wars, many lives will be lost. Absolutely on point. What the Arab world can do though is Demand sanctions on Israel and call out Israel’s brutality and call out the United States. They are still tiptoeing. Im just gonna say this. I generally vote Republican. In case anyone forgets, thats who protects the constitution. Furthermore, i can take in a mother with children because women and children are our most vulnerable people.
