I love this video? Thank you! I am American and I kinda getting tired of people demonizing my country. You debunked a lot of things (except the healthcare, which is accurate ?, and a lot of people here have it, 90%) and you CAN get Medicare and other government help. But the Conservative party here hates that. As a liberal, I'm fine paying taxes for a lot of things to help others and support keeping our businesses, roads, and schools safe. It's not that we, as American citizens, love war, it's just that there are a lot of benefits to being in the military and patriotism is EXTREMELY huge. I mean, we have flags everywhere. And Obama care is to thank for the fines on not having health care. it's lister ally ridiculous because the House of Representatives and Congress didn't even read the bill when they passed it. it was over 1,000 pages long.

We live in N.Y. about 2 hrs from the border to Canada and we love to go to NOTL for a quick vacation whenever we can - usually 4 or 5 times a year! We find Canadians to be WAY more chill than Americans and we love visiting Canada. One thing I'll tell you is figure out the insurance because we've had employees who didn't bother to do this resulting in them having none. When that happens, and you file your income taxes, the IRS takes a fine out of your return. The first year it's like $100, but it goes up each year. After a few years they can fine you like $600. Depending on how much you earn you may be able to apply for assistance in paying your health care premium or may not have to pay at all. I would encourage you to do that before you start getting fined...and welcome to the USA lol!

Whenever I take a flight within the states they always let veterans and those who have served in the army board first which is fine by the way. I just find it interesting because we don't do that in Canada at all. Veterans get a special license plate and maybe a parade once a year?

When our dollar was good I used to have a US Amazon Prime membership and have everything shipped to my mother in law's. It was awesome!! Are you able to get some basic health coverage to help cover a major accident? I guess if you're going to be fined $150 / month might as well put that into insurance.

The health care system here is SO fucked up! My mom had to pay a $500 fine for not getting obamacare by a certain date because she couldn't afford it at the time. Fucking logic to fine people for not having money for healthcare. Also I am honestly terrified of the driving age here. Yes there are responsible teens but holy cow most should NOT be driving!!! As a multi generational Canadian, I don't really care whether they cover their face or not. That's their choice. During my life I've seen all these different forms of conservative dress from catholic nuns, to Hutterites to Mennonites and these people are just part of the mix. What this is designed to do is to create a barrier between themselves and the larger society which is fine. I would never interact with one of these woman ever because the thin flimsy barrier makes it clear that she is not interested in talking to anyone for any reason and again this is fine. If she was with a man I would talk only with the man and completely ignore her and if she was with a male child I would talk to the male child, not to her. I don't normally chat with women who are strangers other than now and then in a supermarket line or whatever. This face thingy frees me from the need of chitchat small talk and I'm good with that. In any case we would have absolutely nothing in common.

I think hijabs are fine because you still know who you are talking to, but the niqab is so odd to me and I will never understand why people would want to wear that.
