Whatever you do I don't recommend Turkey, my family tried to move there from the US (as non Turks). It is enticing at the beginning since its a Muslim country with decent infrastructure, and we had nice experiences visiting there, but for moving a family there it's a whole different struggle. Turkey is a homogenous society, and it turns out you can't really just insert yourself into a new land you have no ancestral, lingual, or cultural connection to. We could not integrate and employment opportunities were minimal for non turks. I recommend you either move to your country of ancestry, because you have a legitimacy and connection there lingually and culturally, or you could temporarily move to an expat friendly country like Qatar or something (I don't say UAE because its a consumeristic immoral dump). If you are Arabic speakers you can also consider other Arabic speaking countries like Lebanon, Morocco, etc.

I think it will be much, much more better for you and your family to live in a Muslim majority country being a Muslim. Islam is just not really compatible with Canadian culture or Western culture as a whole. I wish you luck on your journey.

I'm not muslim, but I've lived and worked in Saudi where Islam permeates every facet of life. I also lived in worked in Malaysia where Muslims make up the majority. Both countries have their advantages and disadvantages. As you have a Canadian passport you're more likely to get a better job in Saudi. No guarantee of that in Malaysia. \nI found the food better in Malaysia, but the food in Saudi is pretty darn good too. \nWinter in Saudi is very nice, at least where I lived in Khobar. However, it is brutally hot for 7-8 months a year. Malaysia is tropical, meaning its very warm to hot with high humidity and rain. \nI can't talk about other countries as I haven't that much experience. Wherever you go, best of luck.

As a Chinese Canadian, I hear you. They've been doing it to the Muslims since well beforer 2001. And now that China is an economic threat to US and Western hegemony, they are doing it to China. In Muslim countries the government pushes the parent and pushes individuals honestly to adhere to Muslim law or else live as a second class citizen so I guess this is the same in every country It's just a matter of differences and values that each country holds.

Before leaving Canada, you should surrender Canadian citizenship and returned passpot as well. If you realy want to know how other muslim countries treat you, travel on the passport you arrived here in canada. Acrually, you know you would be trwated better while having Canadian passport. Fyi We”re not Muslim but made Muslim friends there who appreciate being where they are safe, where they’re not “different “ and subject to danger, and the weather five months a year is fantastic!

Most countries have been shaped by a religious foundation. Muslims don't really fit in Christian countries; Christians are too polite (usually) to say anything, but you are very different. There is nothing wrong with finding like-minded people to move toward your own happiness. Good luck to you!

As to why they are leaving...it's no longer safe. Muslim leaders stood up yesterday calling Oct a victory and told the crowd to fulfill their duty in the country they are in. Christians incl. Toronto gangs accosting Cdn seniors is the beginning. Miller thinks it's ok.

I am not Muslim and Canada is becoming a totalitarian state. You are wise to leave if you can find a place that isn't mental. The woke culture is completely nuts and I don't want any part of it either. Such a massive turn off. I hope you can find a place to live where you will feel free and happy.

I live in Mississauga and have travelled around the GTA and I haven’t really noticed any hate crimes against muslims. As a Muslim myself, Canadians these days are far more tolerant towards muslims or any other cultures than they were back in the day. I see hundreds of hijabi ladies every day and none of them get harassed or bullied for wearing a hijab.

Muslims should live in Islamic Countries, full stop. The ideology does not work in a secular society with true freedom. Good luck.
