Venezuela is an extremely corrupted country from citizens to their law enforcement and their government. This is why the US embassy government pulled out of Venezuela due to corruption.

First of all he wasn’t breaking any laws because he wasn’t hiding or concealing his Kirpan he was wearing it proudly in open. And it’s not about his religion or culture so put away your holy hand grenade and your hopes and dreams of disarming Sikhs because it’s about the Ohio state laws and the second amendment in the constitution that protects people from the law to allow people to carry weapons.\n\nThis cop idiot for not even knowing his own state laws because Open carry of deadly or not weapons is legal under Ohio State law. Just like open carrying a pistol is legal, open carry of any type of knife is legal as well. The entire knife doesn’t even have to be visible in order for it to be considered “unconcealed.” The school principal already apologized to this young man and the Sikh community about this stupid mistake. So Let’s put a end to your hopes and dreams of disarming Sikhs, the world is automatically changing and becoming more Sikh like mindset everyday, just as they banned most all tobacco products in America including cigarettes in all public places. Gurus told Sikhs long ago to always stay clear of tobacco for health reasons. The world is just now catching up.\n\nDo you know why the second amendment was put in the constitution of the United States? It’s a safeguard against the government if they start abusing your freedoms and rights that Americans can fight against them, every government will always try to take our rights to control us but it’s up to us as citizens to fight back everytime. This was written in the constitution by the founders of the country because they seen what government will do if they’re giving a chance.

21 years ago I immigrated to the US from Europe. I also ran away from a corrupt government and a dying country. But I went through the whole process and later became a US Citizen. People entering the country illegally make my blood boil.

And when they get here they disrespect our citizens and republic and praise theirs which they left. They leech off us and do nothing to contribute. Want to come here that's fine. Do it legally. There are steps to take besides invading. Once you get here legally be productive and earn what you want to achieve. Make your dreams come true. Nothing wrong with that. Entering illegally is a crime and criminals do nothing but harm.

It breaks my heart to know that they are looking for a safer place to live, for a safer place for their children. But in the US they don’t understand how hard it is to make it here as an immigrant. So many US citizens themselves are homeless here. The US is ridiculously expensive, chances are that these immigrants will also end up on the street. The US is not okay right now.

You voted for Chavez you voted for your ignorant President Maduro! Now go back to your country and dealt with it there! Go there and protest there! In your country ! Don’t come here to be fed for free!!! We have enough people that we need to help that are US citizens!!!!

There's problem through out the world and other countries is suffering as well my families came here the right way from Asia in the early 70s' we worked hard and became US citizens it's hard in the US so many homeless peoples in every states doing this isn't going to help! You got to do it the right way don't cheat those who are actually trying to come here correctly!

Any country allowing this has a leader who is derelict of his duties which is to protect their citizens. This is why I respect the Asian countries so much...they would never allow this...they put their citizens first..no trash or homeless on the streets, low crime, their people healthy and prosperous...they are doing something right while US is on a suicide mission... shameful.

Many of these people have to flee their country due to death threats from cartels or numerous other organizations, others have were born into extreme poverty. These struggles are unrecognized by us 1st world Americans. It is so easy to sit in our comfy homes and protest “they need to respect our borders laws” brothers and sisters when you know what living in a corrupt 3rd would country is like living under the constant threat of criminal organizations, you Americans would also do anything possible to keep yourself and families safe, I promise the things you people say would be the last things on your mind, but 1st world citizens will never understand.

Oh man! Everybody is entering in mass, but when I immigrated to the USA, at first, I had to wait for about 8 years to come legally+ 5 years to become a US citizen. Had a lot of paperwork to issue, and it wasn't free at all. I paid a lot of money. I bet most of them do not need any asylum.

I don't agree with them trying to force their way over the border. But, what we now know as America was overrun by Europeans fleeing Europe. You overran the borders of the Native Americans to get away from tyrannical kings.\n\n America has known for a long time this was coming but they kept kicking the can down the road. If US citizens do not want people from the Southern nations fleeing north then our government is obligated to help their government stabilize their nations. That's the only way people from the south will stop trying to come up here. They need strong government and a stable economy. Otherwise, this is just the beginning!

Here's a few ideas on how to stop this mess: \nTrump's border wall.\nTrump's immigration policies.\nDHS/HHS/ICE etc all doing their jobs and enforcing the laws we have.\nStop inviting them. Stop promising them all this help. They won't come in droves if they know they ain't getting a penny from us. \nThe ones we do take in, start with housing them in the Governor's mansion in each state. \n\nThis is AMERICA. Sad reality is these people are better dressed and look more healthy than 90% of Us citizens. These are definitely not all people that are in fear for their lives. They clearly have had food and water and some kind of life. What about our citizens in violent cities? Especially the ones who have no food, shelter, family, nothing to keep them away from violent people... Where can an American go for asylum? Where can we find refuge from our corrupt politicians? From the mentally illand violent? Its even worse thinking that these people will get treated better than those who have fought for this country. Risking life and limb to protect freedom. I think freedom in America was always an illusion. We were always being manipulated and controlled. Its just before it was less in our face. They don't care to hide what they are doing anymore. America has fought HARD for centuries to achieve freedom. We’ve shed infinite amounts of blood for the rights we have. Freedom isn’t free. It takes centuries to get to that. People think it sucks to have to spend ten years becoming a legal citizen here, well count yourself lucky that you didn’t have to shed any blood, lose any family members, fight against an oppressive enemy for your rights, or lose your house in a battle for a free country. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, look up American history. Count how many battles were fought; how many wars; how many people died; how many Americans became POW’s on our own land during the Civil War. Look how hard it’s been. Look how hard it is now. We never stop fighting for what we want. Freedom takes work. America isn’t some island paradise. It never has been. We all live on the same earth. We all experience hardship. And there’s no amount of money, illegal border crossing, or anything else that can keep us from that harsh reality. In life we’re going to suffer. That’s just how it is. Stop thinking that illegally crossing a border is somehow going to solve all problems. It won’t. The grass isn’t greener on the other side just because. Bloodshed makes that grass green: Sacrifice. Hard, laborious work; and centuries of time.

Uhhh can anyone say ‘invasion’? Where the living heck is the military?? Annnd give it a few months and we’ll start seeing half of them up here in Canada accessing all of our social programs ( ie: say good bye to healthcare for the rest of us who have paid into it our whole lives and may need it someday ) and probably being housed for free. No problem just bankrupt all the current citizens so we can hand our country over to them. ?‍♀️No problem. Wow! That was wild. Here in San Ysidro everything was calm and actually civil. People waited their turn. I live nearby so I saw it with my own eyes. People at las Americas outlet would pass by food to them and the officers gave them the food. I was an immigrant 35 years ago I am now a us citizens and although I love the USA, I will always remember the struggles I had to go through. The hunger, the injustice, the reject and the cultural assimilation, learning a new language, and work work work until I couldn’t no more. All those efforts paid off and I believe EVERYONE has a right to have a better life. I have family members in Canada and Europe who are also immigrants and also go through these struggles. If they don’t make it to the USA, I hope the Mexican government takes advantage of this immigration influx, after all, the USA is great because of us. It’s time other countries take advantage and advance as well ??
