Laws are laws you seek asylum in the first safe landing not your choice of wherever whenever. Why then can I not leave Canada and go live in another country undocumented then when I fear deportation just go to another country? Because it's illegal yeah. Ugh we are not here to be used and walk all over like a doormat especially if you are not working and paying taxes but taking everything you can get. There are plenty of people in dangerous situations like ukrane and other war torn areas that legit need a place he and his family were already in the US they shouldn't have left there to make fake claims here. Sorry but that's not how it works.

It's actually really hard to sneak into Canada. On both sides they have lots of border patrol and really strict check points. Hell you need a passport to get in there now! You used to be able to get in with a licence only! I used to go there as a kid to drink beer. Anyhow my buddy got denied access for having an old dwi on his record.

Sure Scheer needs more of a backbone but come on, he needs to watch his mouth right now! Common sense says he is not going to push any buttons until after election but Scheer is for Canadians!! We all need to band together and vote Scheer or king trudy will get back in, he still has a lot of the dense population in Quebec and Ontario. Keep in mind that no one voted Trudeau really in western Canada and he still got in with our undemocratic election process (the one he promised to change before realizing it was the only reason he was elected and backed out). Get out! Canada doesn't even take care of its own aboriginal people. No fresh water, homes for shelter, or schools. This border crossing that people are getting away with is disgusting. Canada shouldn't have free borders like that. What are they doing to resolve this? Canada needs to take care of its aboriginal people. Period.

I'm sick of these sob stories. Are those people really that stupid? I'm beginning to think they really are. This man had been in the States for several years according to this video. He was in the States illegally. He clearly never bothered to learn English, and it looks like that for his family too. Then he gets scared because Trump got elected and actually starts ENFORCING IMMIGRATION LAW. So he flees to Canada just because of something a really STUPID and poorly liked PM says. So he takes his family and again is expecting to be given asylum, and then does no research to find out the facts about Canada's immigration system before he goes there. Then he complains about having to spend all his money. Oh gee, did he actually think they would just give him free everything??? Clearly the threat he's complaining about in his own country is not that bad, since Canada rejected his asylum. So what does he do? He refuses to turn up for his hearing, and then he flees to another province. Totally criminal activity. Canada's immigration people need to round him up and deport him. It's his OWN FAULT he is separated from his family. HE BROKE THE LAW!!! There are CONSEQUENCES to breaking the law. Sheesh!!! I'm so sick of hearing these sob stories from these freeloaders. Yep---They really are that STUPID!!!

Been in canada for 10 yrs never been sick. Only time I needed heath services was for my 1rst child last year. Went 7 months of pregnancy tests and exams paid nothing.\nI spent 2 months in NICU didn't pay a dime.\nTook 6 months parental leave still got income coming (could have taken 12 months since my spouse doesn't work).\nI don't care how rich I get. I'll always support universal health care. It worked for me.

This is bullshit. One year ago only conservatives were anti Muslim. The Syrian refugees were a election topic here. I was silly and said we MUST let some in to save them. Now that I have met one and he is the janitor of my building and according to HIM .. I must now follow HIS religious laws. SO .. Itès easy to be or not be a bigot when they are4 in need of life saving .. Thing is .. IF you are stupid enough to do it .. As a Muslim living in Canada, I don't see the harm in a woman wanting to cover herself, I wear the head scarf myself, but in my opinions I don't feel the need to cover myself to prove I am more modest or a better Muslim.  I believe everyone has free will and has the right in this Country to dress the way that the law has allowed them to.  No one has the right to tell someone how to dress, not even the Prime Minister himself.  Telling a woman what she can and cannot wear is oppression.  I truly believe that if Muslims want to live in Western civilization, then they should refrain from covering their faces because the face is our identity and People have the right to know who you are and what your face looks like.  You cannot vote with a covered face, you cannot cover your face in a passport photo, you cannot cover your face for your driver's licence etc... I am a Muslim woman and I say this.  It truly is a shame how the media is portraying Islam and the Muslim people as a whole, and it truly is a shame that Canadians have become so ignorant.  I see more ignorance and racism in Canada than I do in America and 9/11 took place in America.  If you want to know about Islam, learn about Islam from a Muslim, a Library, google Islam, or offer to spend a few days with a Muslim family for research to get a better understanding of Islam and Muslims.  As a Muslim myself I can understand the hatred and the ignorance because we act according to how we were taught and raised, and yes we have many extremists claiming to follow the Islamic faith.  These extremists are not only hurting Western civilization, but they are also hurting the peaceful moderate Muslims that value their rights and freedoms as Canadians.  I do not appreciate ISIS hijacking my religion, I do not appreciate Hamas or Hezballah hijacking my Religion because I am a very accepting person and a very open minded Muslim and to be defined by media as a problem or a terrorist is very hurtful and a shame.

  Being white in Canada is to be constantly pointed at by black people and called racist . When the only people screaming racist is the blacks . Every other ethnic group of people get along.with one another in Canada .  I think the black community needs to stop calling everyone else racist , and deal with there own racist thoughts .Stop accusing  all other group's of people of being racist . There is only one group of racist people in Canada and they are black .
