But today Ontario with 18% acceptance of international students to medical school (of course they went back to their countries to practice,leaving us short of family doctors) has now ban this practise to medical schools. Hopefully other provinces. will do the same. There are many of young Canadians who want to study medicines who couldn’t get in. My friends daughters had to go to Caribbean’s and UK to study and eventually has to stay there because they met their partners there and also could not convert their degrees to return to Canada.
