First of all, it is because of Trudeau's open door policy that all workers are suffering from poor wages and benefits. Secondly, Trudeau has consistently undermined the COLLECTIVE BARGAINING of UNIONS‼ The middle class has been struggling for years. They are being stripped of benefits, fair wages and PENSIONS ! Pensions have become an unacceptable expectation in Canada! We as Canadians have been convinced by Government and Business that workers should take care of all that foolish Pension stuff themselves! I DON'T BUY IT ! Nobody seems to be pointing the finger at CEO's astronomical salaries, plus bonuses, fringe benefits. ie. Corporate Jets, Sunny Trips Down South. They aren't being stripped of benefits, earnings, bonuses or fringe benefits. Profits are for them, NOT to be shared with wokers. \n❌Liberal Trudeau is no different Conservative Harper, it is all about the top 10% ! It's not about you, the worker, the shrinking middle class, the poor.

Why Are They Still Blaming Civid When That Was 5 Years....

I'm pretty sure that the govt have done an immigration freeze before. Many applications were just halted and nothing happened for several months. This was a decade or so ago.\nBut yes if Stephen Harper was stupid enough to increase the immigration numbers then we know who to blame - the Conservatives!! \nSO DO NOT VOTE for the Conservatives. They just want money - Taxes. That is all. They will probably also increase the numbers again for more new taxes. \nRemember Conservatives = Trump. These people act like Trump. Greedy for Power and Money. This also means Doug Ford as well!! \nTrudeau should also have cut back these numbers ASAP during and after the Pandemic. Someone did not advise him very well at all. \nI do agree that Trudeau needs to do another freeze and not accept any new applications for at least 6 to 12 months, in order to process those applications already in the system.\nTrudeau then needs to severely cut the incoming numbers back to 200K like they used to be. And then keep it to that level!!

People who only blame immigrants have no idea how low the birth rate is in Canada. Just think how many families with children there are. Without these immigrants the country's population would be in decline, like in Korea and Japan. Immigration cannot be zero simply because the country needs it. But it is true that everything has gotten out of control. Policies must be reviewed to avoid fraud and saturation of services.

I wouldnt blame Miller for the immigration issues we are facing. I believe he is working on stabilizing the issue. Remember he only took the job last year. I would place more blame on Sean Fraser and of course Trudeau

As FRENCH, I think it is more an issue with policies set by both governments!!! You know you bring students IN and why don’t you build houses and encourage construction???? In France, many students (mainly Africa, and French departments like Guadeloupe, Tahiti or Martinique) come to study there (for free and we are proud of it!!!) BUT - unlike Canada - we do NOT have the same issues as Canada (our healthcare is NOT under pressure and our housing prices haven’t really increased that much as compared to Canada for example!!!) to me, the students are NOT to blame!!! It is the fault of the deciders (at different level) who have FAILED to set the right policies!!!! The schools are also to blame as some (not all) are so obsessed with making profits out of the higher international fees, which by way, subsidize Canadian students!!! So in Canada (not in France or Germany), the money that allows schools to function come from international students who BRING LOTS OF MONEY for the Canadian economy!!!! in France, it is different as the universities are FREE and are fully subsidized by the French government… but yes;) you have to speak French fluently to attend them!!! \nSo dear Canadians, do not blame foreign students thanks to whom your universities thrive and remain existant!!! Without them (namely the Indians too), the Canadian universities will struggle to find money and funding! Remember, the system in France is TOTALLY different!!!!\nAlso, reading from comments, I notice that many here have NEVER alert their own country!!! Stop blaming foreigners if YOU, YOURSELF DID NOT even get the BALLS to dare studying in places different than yours (like Germany, France, Sweden, Japan…)!!!! People born in Canada are just leaving and I don’t blame them. I have 3 neighbours in my neighbourhood that I was close to them but they left 1 put their house on rent and the other 2 sold there house just left the country. They all said the same thing Canada is to expensive and going down hill . High crime , high taxes you. You name it . The more you make the more you are taxed. I have a friend that left Canada for Ireland 3 years ago for a job in his field and was able to buy a beautiful house .

Have been saying it for years to many international students from India lived in qc there were so many international students coming from Punjab to qc. They will go just about anywhere in Canada if it means it will get them a PR wow left qc and moved to Ottawa so far have not seen so many international students . Even as a Born Canadian my parent came from India back in the 80s\nDon’t want to live with Indians . That came from India in 2024 they are rude to girls on the bus have no shame . Ben living in Canada for 40+ years only know there has been a. Influx of migrants from India. Before the people come they at least new basic English and got usto the way of living the new once they don’t even know basic English and don’t have any common sense how they pass is beyond me . Please don’t blame Canadians for this, they are simply fed-up with the influx of Indians in a very short time (obviously a fault of the Current Government), plus we Indians are not typical model citizens, we lack proper hygiene, we are loud & we are cheap etc. imagine if an huge number of migrant (from a 3rd world country, say Africa) migrates to India suddenly how would an average Indian react, Canadians are some of the most hospitable people out there, try to be polite and adapt to the new culture/environment ASAP & things will be better soon
