Am born and raised in toronto .trust me .Canada is not what people think I traveled alot of places with bigger populations and poorer than Canada. But people seem happier and healthier way to many rules and to much liberal views and lifestyle that's destructive and greedy for your tax dollars I have a couple years left of working and am gone.

Unbelievable educated people travelling in flight still fighting like fools and verbally abusing each other.

I never experienced such a situation on a flight traveling around the world. I can imagine this is happening in India every day on domestic flights.

TRAVELLED THERE BUT MOVING THERE ? NEVER ! Oh by the way, stop calling your country AMERICA. The Americas are continents of which there are 2: NORTH America and South America. Your country has no name per say ,,,'The United States', Yeah we all can see how ''united'' you guys are nowadays. Actually only a few of the New England states are inhabited by more sensible people, a majority being descendanta of Acadians and French Canadians.- I rest my case !

I managed 5 minutes of your video, and your ignorance of the massive amount of problems in your own country is truly astounding. And are you really so ridiculous to think that people would MOVE to the US to visit holiday sights like Disney and The Grand Canyon? Get a grip, buddy! Every Canadian I know that travels to other countries goes out of their way to let people know they are not Americans, many Americans put Canadian flags on their backpacks, bags and suitcases not realizing nobody falls for that anymore. I have witnessed so many rude entitled Americans, have been treated rudely many times until the person finds out we are Canadian.\nWatched a man and woman yell at a guy selling souvenirs in Paris because he would not take US cash. \nSlunk out the door because we were afraid they would think we were American.

I have travelled to the US often for work for close to 25 years, visiting client sites. While I live in Canada, I had witnessed so many experiences and differences that it became impossible to consider a move there. There are obvious tax advantages (most states, though not all, combined with fed taxes have a lower tax rate, as well as write off benefits of owning a house). Racism is a problem here too, towards black people (among others) and including violence and systemic racism towards our indigenous population (e.g. police and healthcare), but the level of systemic and societal racism in the US towards black people is difficult to comprehend.\n\nIn my work experience in the US over the years, my team was in Utah at the time of a mass shooting in the mall that we'd typically go for dinner. An employee at the company shot and killed his wife in the church parking lot. I've been at a conference in Nashville that had to be locked down because there was a shooting in the mall next door (to the Grand Ole Opry), which was across the highway from the restaurant were there was the shooting where a black man took down the shooter earlier that year. As an employer our company couldn't believe the costs the company had to pay. California was ridiculously high, but so even was Texas.\n\nWith Obamacare the US is making huge strides in healthcare. It's not just about the health insurance coverage, but the fact that the legislation is forcing insurance and healthcare providers to standardize their systems, and make the data flow much better. This will allow for more innovation, faster handling of transactions, and transparency of costs (an example is people not knowing their cost until AFTER going through the procedure). I believe the US will outstrip Canada (which is only in the middle of the pack of developed countries) in service for cost in about 10 years.

I think you need to do some reading up on gun violence in the US vs Canada if you are so shocked. The numbers are very high for the US. Canadians spend a lot of time watching american news sources to see what fresh hell our neighbours are participating in. \n\nI have a hard time finding the motivation to even travel to the US and I want to do so only to visit family history locations. And some beaches. But I have decided not to go cross borders.

I have observed in domestic flights in India, Indians travelling with pride in their eyes.. some r arrogant and some r eager to fight if their ego is at risk.

Canadian (Albertan here) - yes, i don't think i'd move to the States unless it was reasonably close (maybe Montana) with fewer people - i'd like to identify as a Hermit :). I motorcycle and have travelled majority of the States, from coast to coast, and i really do like the country side and scenery, and history, that you run through. I do a 4000-6000 mile tripe every year or two - did Tennessee last year, and Colorado this summer. A lot of absolutely amazing country really, and yes some really great people as well. Have run into some real odd people as well and some places i wanted to get out of pretty quick. I do like the fact the US hasn't bought into this woke agenda and politically correctness - it's absolutely nuts up here. I like the gun laws in the States, too bad we're so screwed over that in Canada. Gotta love Trump - may be a bit of a bozo but hey - the guy lays it out and owns his shit, every other polititician plays the blame game and does everything politically correct... End of day, i'd prefer to stay in Canada, either Alberta or British Columbia.

Father needs to control his ego and teach his daughter basic manners and decency first. Imagine paying so much money to travel comfortably in a flight only to see somebody kicking your seat from behind. Such entitled people should be thrown out of the plane.

Nowadays flight experiences becoming same like trains , by changing route of traveling we cannot change behaviour of such people.

I’m a Canadian myself, and it’s very interesting to see your reaction to Canadian’s response to that question. I think what you said about being desensitizing is true, I think because the gun violence, the crazy politics, and the attacks on women’s and minority rights, these are things that have become so common in the US that American started to see these things as “normal”. And to a lot of Canadians, these are our core values. A lot of us are proud that we don’t have that (serious of) these issues here, so I am not surprised in any sense that majority if not all of those people in that subreddit said no.\n\nI used to travel to the US for a living, and I actually asked to change my job so I don’t have to do that anymore. I didn’t feel safe, I didn’t feel good when I travel there. You mentioned it’s depending on the cities, and you might be right, but I can tell you I have met A LOT of very crazy people during my years of travels, and they are all friend very different places: the east, the south, the west, big and small cities.

I’m a bit late to this discussion but I agree with the 99.9% of other responses. Although, I have enjoyed trips to beautiful areas of the US, & live close to the border where a day trip was a common occurrence. I now hesitate to even travel there as I do worry about gun violence, racism & honestly cannot understand the cult of followers who would even consider voting for an incompetent, narcissistic criminal to lead their country…. it’s mind blowing! You are desensitized regarding violence/school shootings… choose where you live? What’s the guarantee that this couldn’t happen anywhere in the US, even rural areas? On the topic of living in Canada, it’s beautiful with lots of country to see/enjoy from west coast to the east coast & we have healthcare, a government (although not perfect) elected by & working for the people. I’m proud to be Canadian, wouldn’t move for anything! We’re your neighbour but as it happens sometimes we just can’t believe what’s going on next door.

When I travelled there to check on my husband’s rental properties (yes, he is a Canadian who owns properties in the U.S.) I was always surprised at our employees, tenants, who treated us as second class citizens, as “CrazyCanucks”, and mostly, incredulous that we could actually legally own American companies….and yes, we paid all taxes due. \nThe U.S. is a beautiful country but, unfortunately, all too often, there is a superiority attitude that permeates every exchange…a we (Americans), vs them (Canadians) approach. As with many other Canadians we knew who had businesses in the U.S., our experience as Canadians doing business in the U.S., was also theirs. \nI will end by acknowledging that I know many beautiful & amazing Americans that I have come to love and immensely respect. I also have Canadian relatives who live in the U.S. and have dual citizenship. 7:38 if the US government finds that a large percentage of your countries population overstays their visa, they will approve the H1 – B for three years, but stamp your passport for less, making it so you have to come back to your home country more than after the original three years. Also, try traveling to third country for vacation. For that country but you can’t apply for it from the United States as a US visa holder. I’m in the process right now, and was fortunate to get my sponsorship through a nonprofit which is exempt from the lottery from what I understand. It’s still a ridiculous process though.

Lemme skip to the end and take a guess as to what's actually happening.\n\nIndians go to Canada first so they can get to their final destination, America, faster. Once they're Canadian citizens, they can apply for US green card and travel easily to America in the meantime. They can work and bide their time in Canada while working in America only having to return to Canada every six months or so instead of back to India.\nBottom line:\nEvery foreigner who goes through the trouble to become a US citizen (clearly worth all that trouble) should be absolutely against ALL illegal immigrants who just walk across the southern border and demand to stay.

I have travelled to the States for work and occasional vacations but there is no possible chance that I would leave Canada to take up residence there. My vacations are now taken in Canada only. One of the most beautiful countries one will ever see.

Hey man ! You should travel a bit. There are McDonald's all around the world. Starbucks too. The main problem is not the place (US), the problem is people who live in your country.

As a Canadian with family in the US, I will say this. My cousin and her husband are leading medical doctors in their field. They both left NY to go back to Montreal. Another cousin is a corporate lawyer who also moved back to Canada, even though he made a lot of money. In all three cases, they did not want their children growing up in the US. Random violence was a major concern, indeed, Canada has a travel advisory on the US for this reason. Also, my cousin could not take the private health care system. She wanted to treat ppl regardless of insurance and in the US she couldn't while in Canada, cost is never a concern. My lawyer cousin also disliked the US private medical system. Rather than his doctor having control it was his insurance company. Lastly, was the quality of life. All three mentioned that the food supply in the US is way too processed.

Secondly, your priority date becoming current does not mean that your green card is approved, but is when you can send in the actual green card application, the I-485, so the wait is still far from over even then.

That’s a hard no. Not even maybe. Having travelled to the US many times, I always felt like I was stepping back into the 1960’s. They have fallen so far behind, they think they’re in front. Culturally, Canada is much more similar to Europe than our geographically closest neighbour. Several of my friends have lived in the US, but all moved back because they felt their children were not being educated to a standard they would have been in Canada.

The Government of Canada recently issued a 'travel advisory' for the United States travel because of random acts of violence with no pretense that you can protect yourself. I've heard of 'travel advisories' for certain States, but this is the first time I've heard it for the entire U.S. anywhere. In answer to the question: No. Too many guns, too many gun owners, too much religion pumping out hate and bigotry and too much arrogance.

People travel with different mood swings and mindsets. Also with loss, emergency, fear and sitting for a long time in discomfort, and traveling with strangers next to them like that... Adding fuel to the fire someone (a child) kicking them from the back seat is too much. Parents should take responsibility to help their children learn to sit properly on the flight without creating any trouble for the co-passengers.

I lived in Canada from 1983 to 2016 after I left the US Air Force in '83. I was born in the SF Bay area, and grew up there in the Hippie peace love/Viet Nam era in the 60's and 70's. I now live in Seattle. As we have travelled to San Fran, New Orleans, Nashville, Miami, Vancouver (Canada) and New York in the last 6 months, I kinda have a pretty good idea how it was on both sides of the border way back then, as well as right now. We have 2 rental homes, and I STILL have to work until I'm 70 to retire without worrying about losing it all because of the the high cost of health care. Your observation of race/political/religion relations are naive at best, you need to travel the country first hand to see it. Canada has it's far share of right wing crazies as well. They're mostly not armed, and most fights are 5 minute shouting matches. I know this because I work on construction sites. Canada doesn't have commercials for pharma or ambulance chasers. Because big pharma is kept in check, and with a population slightly smaller than California, frivolous lawsuits would clog the courts. If the PM killed some one on the corner of Yonge and Bloor in Toronto, he'd go to jail. You can get an abortion in Canada. There's a fraction of the Fentanyl crisis happening in Canada, and they have waaayy less homeless in the street. Canada has 2 weeks paid vacation AND paid holidays. The tax rate is higher in Canada, but many of the benefits make up the difference. It's cheaper to buy a house in Seattle than Vancouver. You can get a 30 year mortgage in Washington as well, instead of 5 or 10 years. Good and services tend to be cheaper and more plentiful Stateside. Mail service runs on weekends, it hasn't done that in Canada since the 80's. As it stands, I'm in Seattle right now because it isn't the typical US city by far. But I'm thinking when it comes to retiring, I'm putting Canada on the list. Being a dual citizen also makes me eligible for the other Commonwealth (universal health care) countries like Australia.

Although I enjoy traveling to the USA and have seen amazing places and met great people, there is no way in hell I would move there. Lol All of the benefits you listed at the start of your video about living in the US, Canada has. We have McDonalds and Starbucks everywhere too, we have amusement parks, and job opportunities. As a Canadian, any time I travel to the US I am like concerned about gun violence. When I interact with someone in Canada I can be pretty confident they are not carrying a gun, or have a gun in their car. I still travel there though.

As a Canadian from the Maritimes I have to agree with all the reasons he read. Any time I travel south I have the highest travel insurance to fly me back to Canada if something happens. I have visited the US many times and enjoyed it while I was there but was VERY happy to be home. I agree the small towns are safER but I saw people driving around with 5 LARGE guns in the roof rack of their truck, I DO NOT mean hunting rifles. NOPE! Got in the rental car and headed North out of Georgia right away. The South IS beautiful to see and may people were very sweet but I did not feel safe there. I prefer the Northern states. I was thinking about my yearly vacation options recently and the US was NO WHERE on my list. Mostly Northern Europe, Italy, and Greece. Sorry, but that's my opinion of my travels there.

You are so blinded by the American propaganda machine and I really suggest you at least do some travelling out of country for a prolonged period of time to see how the rest of the world really is. I hope some of these harsher comments at least open your eyes. I am born and raised Canadian who used to spend about a month a year in the states and now I can’t say I’ll go back. The gun violence just in the last few years is sickening. Having bad places to live doesn’t apply to the US anymore, everywhere is bad to live and it’s only a matter of time before the reality comes to YOUR small town. Usually I really like your videos but this one hits a little too hard on how everyone in America has been brainwashed into thinking their normal is ‘great’. Being a bit desensitized is a complete understatement. The saddest part is I think it’s too late for the US now.
