You guys have a problem with those who work there ass off for you contributing to the economy but you don’t mind the government spending billions on refugees who don’t even give a fuck about canada. Students are just a coverup for the blunders that government has made. Why even let refugees in when your own people are homeless and living like refugees. International students spend almost 40k dollars on studies. Refugees take thousands of dollars for free every month. I met a guy from turkey on lyft and he told me he got his PR via fake refugee case. I asked him do you like it here and he told me canada is shit and back home was better. I was surprised by the entitlement. I too came in as an international student and this country has given me a lot and I love it more than back home tbh. It’s just people are missing common sense these days. As they say “common sense is not so common”.

I am also India but it is illegal to pressurize government to extend their work permit or grant citizenship eventhough you have contribute enough to the Canadian economy. It is their country and they have rights who will come and who will leave. If they want to stay then they should start their businesses or consult to government migration agents. It is disappointing to see international students doing such unmature thing. Instead of doing protest they should learn about upcoming new courses in the era of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Electric Vehicles, Cyber Security, Healthcare and Agricultural Technology. Such skill set being encouraged by western governments they would love to have you stay in their country by boosting their economy.

I'll be honest, I will learn new language the right away to be able to communicate with others in their country in respect, but I probably will not be welcomed to stay and that's fine by me. I don't wish to move in a place where I am not likely to be loved.

I get harassed for not speaking French in mtl, I can’t order a simple coffee in English. Yet these lovely couple managed to stay without speaking both official languages of Canada. \nWell if I can’t get coffee, neither will them.

Even canada, with a relatively strict immigration policy, is having problems. Switzerland, with our t\nvery strict immigration policy, is having problems. Both of these countries love immigrants. It's just that you can't have completely unvetted immigrants coming in. I wish I could invite all the refugees of the world to live in my garden. But they just wouldn't fit. And before anyone calls me a racist or a hater, I personally raise money for refugees at the kakuma refugee camp in kenya. There is a way to help people where they are.

We have exactly the same problem here in the UK. Politicians talk tough on immigration but when they get in power and see the books, they open the borders.\n\nWhat do i mean by the books. I'm an indian and the place i worked hired so lmia from india and laid us off ,these people were running interviews and rejecting Canadians while hiring temporary workers from Canada and india who used to clock 60-80 hours of work in India and here.Companies love slavery and hate worker rights to be frank,they charge clients Canadian rates and pay pennies making huge profits, all the LMIAs are now permanent residents what a joke ,i heard even low paying jobs people on temporary work visa in canada and india pay 30K -50 K to the employers names are tim hortons franchisee ,firehouse sub,subway and every franchisee owned by an indian owner ,he posts the jobs on some yellow pages and tells the government he couldn't find a coffe maker in Canada and there is a queue in India especially punjab and gujarat where people sell their assets and pay for lmia,the next government if they audit lmias and pnp im sure it would be favorable for people who did they hardwork of going thru the right chanel
