I started making plans to leave Canada back in 2013. I left in October of 2021, during the Covid insanity, where the people and Government of Canada revealed who they truly were. It was the best move I ever made for my family and I. We are much better off being out of the shit-hole that is Canada.

Canadians like to make fun of the USA a lot but deep down, a lot of people are looking south right now for better economic opportunities than what we have here. Pretty much any U.S. city will offer more jobs that pay better, with higher mobility, better weather and much lower taxes.

So a few things about this issue (in my opinion) \n\nMost of the nuisance you see ppl doing - we collectively dislike it (we being Canadians who have roots in India) \n\nSkin colour brown white or anything doesn’t matter to most. I think ppl who talk skin colour needs wisdom /education and it’s laughable who keep bringing words like brown black white for ppl.\n\n\nSecond students are majority of the demographics who create the non sensical acts \nMajority of them are teens or early 20’s \n\nNot the PR / citizens / ppl with work permits as we all r busy working and making this country better collectively \n\n\nBeing from India - we feel the world (not just canada India but the planet is like 1 big family and we all got to care for it while perusing individual dreams as well)

Canada's not the same as current PM has ruined it. Chaos will get worse before it gets better with a new leader to fix it. Immigrant's always entered through Sask because it was the easiest to get citizenship. When term was over they went West or East. There are 2 types of immigrant's today, those who want a chance for better life and adapt and those who want to destroys our values (which's' what what we're seeing today). Being born and raised in Sask doesn't feel like home anymore into today's world. East and West looks worse. I'd be happier living abroad!! I’m not sure it’s better anywhere else. I’m Canadian living in Calgary and this is the best place to be in my opinion with everything I like and still do. \nI’m considering moving to the US for work but I’m not sure that will be permanent. A big thing for myself is healthcare. \nGood luck to you though Alina wherever it is you choose to go.

I know a couple from Vancouver who moved to Cancun Mexico they live in an apartment building next to a five star resort, their cost of living is like 80% less than it was in Vancouver and they have better weather too. They both work as video game streamers. They didn't make enough money to live in Canada off of streaming only but now they can do it in Mexico and save some money too

Canada definitely has changed a lot in the last few years and not for the better so i totally understand the desire to find somewhere new and i look forward to hearing the places you considered and why you decided to not relocate there. :)

Canada is like a Casino right now... once you go inside, you will go broke out. The sooner you leave better for you!

I am in the slow process of moving from New York to Thailand. Was planning Singapore but too many billionaires headed there making it hard to immigrate for us non-decamillionaire.\n\nNew York is too expensive and taxes keep going up for worse and worse service. I can move south but it's a lot more driving and only slightly better with the homeless and crime problem

Thanks so much for sharing this Alina! I can relate to what you're going through - I was born in the UK, moved to the US at 11 and then moved back to the UK at 24. I decided to leave the US because I began to realise that it's just not an ideal place to work and raise a family. The state I lived in (South Carolina) has a better quality of life than, say, California, New York, Oregon, Washington or New Jersey, but overall the US just doesn't do an adequate job of caring for its citizens, and the US government (especially those left of centre) has its priorities in the wrong place. The UK has its own problems no doubt, but overall the UK does a much better job of caring for its citizens than the US does. \n\nIt'll be more difficult for you than it was for me because you'll be going to an entirely new country where you have no family and no social network, but you're an intelligent and daring woman, you seem to be quite comfortable around new people, and you'll settle into wherever you end up very quickly. That means, sometimes, moving to new country as well. \nGood decision !!! You can always come back when you feel things are better.

There is no labor shortage (Fachkräftemangel) in Germany. This is a fairy tale (Märchen) no one believes. They just need more people who don't know the system to feed their low-wage market. Please, don't fall into that trap. Look for better countries.

I hold a Masters degree in Computer Science from a prestigious technical university in Europe. I have over 15 years experience with software engineering in different industries, such as finance, science and big pharma. I can live any country I want with my background and experience, easily making over 6 digits paycheck. \n\nHowever, I’d not consider living in Germany because for one simple reason: the political environment. The hardcore right is on full rise. Racists everywhere. The Nordics are much better.

Completely the same story is in Austria. Exactlly same low wage & high taxes, very outdated bureaucracy (although 5x times better vs German) and overral not many jobs / positions. And cost of living became terribly high after Covid and recent inflation years.

South East Asia is the future, I came to Germany in 2014 and back then it was a DYING COUNTRY, I predicted in a decade even immigrants will leave and how true that has become and believe me IT WILL GET FAR WORSE FROM HERE, even USA/Canada/EU/AUS/NZ/CHINA/INDIA will crumble eventually only SEA like Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines etc will survive the coming onslaught on humanity.\n\n YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, if you are in your 20s or even 50s, make your LIFE MISSION to live in SEA. The infrastructure in Thailand for example is 100 times better than any country in Europe and the powers that be prop up unlivable Europe and make sure to put down countries in SEA or not report on them at all, be ready to be shocked if you ever visit for the first time in Thailand & Philippines from Europe.

This is exactly whats happening here in Ireland!\nour government is telling migrants to come for a better life while irish people struggle in a housing crisis...\nin October our govenment anounced it's plan was to give a tent and sleeping bag to any single male migrents at Dublin airport!!!\nwe clearly dont have room!!

Just look at cities in China, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand…More than half of the largest cities’s population are migrants from other parts of the country or from abroad. How did they sort out their housing difficulties but not Canada? Try to be creative problem solvers and be humble and learn from others. Developing countries are better problem solvers than the unimaginative West these days.

My wife and I are highly skilled (both have post-graduate education), and my wife has German as a joint first language. We left for the following reasons: poor pay, high taxes, poor personal freedoms (an effective one-party state), crime and better opportunities elsewhere. The AFD is not one of the reasons why we left.

More skilled labors will be leaving Germany. My brother a senior softwares engineer already decided to leave Germany due to unbearable high cost for living and unable to afford a house for his wife and two daughters working overtime. IT companies in Germany do NOT pay US IT salary jobs. Me and my wife also decided for the sake of our daughters future to leave Germany for Poland in the next years. Poland has a bright future ahead and has become a central IT hub for US and Europe. Germany has nothing left to offer but high taxes, high cost of living, a bad and outdated retirement system, analog burocracy, no digital progress. I could go on and on. If you think to come to Germany as a skilled worked, DON'T, there are better alternative countries to choose from!

All this hate talk. Canada has a population about the size of California. We will never be overcrowded. Tokyo has 14 million people, so Toronto is a drop in the bucket, and yet Tokyo is a great city. The whiners say it is not racism, yet I am sure they would not bat an eye if it was all Americans moving up here or Europeans. The mass movement of people has been going on for eons, as people tend to move from bad areas to better ones.

I’ve been living in Munich for over a year. Everything is stupidly expensier, tax takes 30+%, fine we do that in Mexico, but an apartment taking 30% to 50% of the remaining? F, I genuinely feel more poor than in my country. Yeah it’s safer and better, but it’s also a big challenge…

1. With a global expansion mindset and start using English as a second language on everything. \n2. Pay better! It’s ridiculous how low it gets when compared with the U.S. True talents move here to chill, party and work for U.S. companies. \n3. There’s no way Germany is going to lead anything. It’s just too slow, too many steps in every designed system on everything.

Because illegals are getting better benefits, why apply for citizenship and pay taxes.

International students are leaving Germany due to language barriers, difficulties in finding jobs after graduation, complex visa requirements, high living costs, and challenges in cultural integration. Many also seek better opportunities or less bureaucracy in other countries.

I cant be the only foreigner who loves everything about thia country, and have no complaints, if my country was any better, i won't be here so i choose to love and appreciate the opportunity Germany has offered me.

So, this dude toward the end seems to think that supply and demand don't mean anything (everyone's money spends equally) and that bad things or decisions from the '80s and '90s somehow will be made better by flooding the country with immigrants? That is how fantastical these people think.

Immigrants to canada 50 yrs ago came for a better life and were willing to work for it and abide by the laws . Immigrants coming in now is a totally different scenario . Making demands , burning canadian flags , screaming publically in the streets that they are taking over . This isn't migration it's invasion !

The video clip of air hostesses is not from Pakistan but from India which has better employees and they don't do such things?

The better question is what took so long? The answer is simple. People aren't assimilating because they are coming in at too high of a rate so we are getting balkanization instead. People are seeing the cohesiveness of society disintegrate and the cause is obvious.

What i don't understand is how leaders of a country are unable to predict this outcome.\nAnyone whit some level of consequential thinking can see this from a mile away.\nKind of obvious that you can't let more people in than you can provide housing and job opportunity to.\nDoes not take a genius to figure that out.\nOr better yet, try and stop the water flow from your shower without turning the knobs and watch what happens to the water.\nIt goes all over the place uncontrollably.\nThat visual is pretty much exactly how the economic and welfare status looks like for a country who let too much immigration slip through in too short amount of time.

Hey man. I think that the 2 leaders of opposing countries, religions, “teams” whatever, they should meet, promising everyone is safe, promising to each other n keeping their promise, and they should have dinner or lunch, maybe breakfast. But they should face to face, share a meal and talk. I promise u that things would change for the better. We all should do this. There would be way less war, eventually none. Then, we build, because if u give a man a fish, he has one meal, but if u teach a man to fish, he feeds his family for life. Time to do this

I am from Pakistan and all my friends and relatives moved to UK, US, Australia and Canada. When I say all I mean 18 out of 20 left Pakistan and they don't want to come back to Pakistan ever because who doesn't want a better lifestyle for themselves and for their future generations but my father advised me never to leave your country because no matter what other countries will never accept you as their own citizens. Instead of leaving your country try to make it better. \n\nToday I see exactly that happening throughout the world. They want their countries back and you see their hearts filled with hatred against these immigrants. Sooner or later these immigrants will have to sell everything and come back to their countries. What a wise man my father was!

Well, we'd better start working the minimum wage jobs, work at the farm, and sewages places now....

Intentional destruction of Canadian Culture. Canada has NO responsibility to help the outsiders. No nation can afford MASS MIGRATION without destroying the lives of their own citizens. Governments now are evil. \n\nMonetary destruction will NOT end well. Inflation is due to mass currency printing. War is WASTE. \n\nIf people wish to help others, that can be done in their HOME COUNTRIES. That is better than mass migration especially with extreme cultural differences considered.

40 to 50 hours a week? I work that in Australia as an Australian. Indian universities aren't necessarily recognised overseas. Even then I've worked with many as engineers and got uber rides from many just as an example. Different cultural system. This is just my personal experience. \n\nYou have to remember that India has been studied as on of the most intolerant countries in the world. I've never got that impression from the majority of other nationalities I've worked with. Even had and engineer quit on his first ay because he couldn't accept another Indian as his superior. ?‍♂️ why?\n\nIm just saying. You can look up the worldwide studies that rank India so high for intolerance easily. These are large surveys. \n\nEnd of the day when you have large immigration spikes without infrastructure it is doomed and you will get a lot of misplaced hatred towards immigrants as low to middle class locals rents/ house prices explode. Not to mention the low skilled jobs that immigrants will do cheaper. \n\nImmigration is a cheap way for developed countries to increase GDP. Without planning and proper direction it will always fail on the whole. \n\nIm happy to debate my opinion with anyone. We all need a better approach.

Statistics show that half of the new immigrants in the photo op at the end will have voluntarily left Canada within the next 5 -10 years. Many to the US, and most of the rest back to their home countries, as they will find that Canada is not a place to come to to get ahead. Canada is over-hyped for sure. I know, I came to Canada and then left after 10 years to the US, where opportunities are far, far better. Save yourselves a decade of wasted time and come to the US straight away.

Modern immigrants expect to both better as well as replicate the one they've left behind. Why would anyone coming from an impoverished life expect anything different?

Immigration is one thing asylum seekers is another thing I work in a bank and you should see the money that these people get I have seen where they are living on $7000 a month and they also get the child tax credit of $2500. They are living better than me working full-time.

This is not a loophole. even if you come on a boat with no visa no passport, you will still be given asylum. You are just inciting general hatred towards immigrants in Canada just because you are dumb enough to not know the difference between asylum and immigration. Just do better.

The west is not a destination for the entire world. If you want a better life, work to make that a reality in your home country.
