When you have an extra 451,000 people flooding in per year that require jobs in a very sparsely populated country you’re going to run into housing and job shortages, which increase demands, increasing prices and therefore increasing homeless because people can’t afford living and they can’t get a job because a requirement for being an immigrant is full time employment.

Transit buses stink! I haven’t been to Brampton in 10 years ! The last time I was there , the bus stunk!! And seemed like I was in New Delhi. I am trying to imagine now. Lol\nMost of friends have moved out of that city!!

This immigrants are mostly from one indian state ie Punjab. In Punjab every young person just have to dream i.e. to move to Canada. Even Indians from other indian state dint want to live in Brampton anymore, Let me tell u most indians dont want to leave in isolated community but want to leave in mixed community with local people and adopting their culture. Lived in India for 31 years and done 100's thousand kms in good old Maruti Suzuki, most of the public/private bus and truck drivers are A holes in India. There are lot of A holes on our freeways/motorways as well but the %age is lot less. If anyone is seeking for a commercial license in North America from other countries, they have to go thru strict training else there will be high speed moving freaks. I live in a high rise tower in Dubai and Indian national move in the building and White people moved out. Because of the cooking smell,non respect of the rules ( people mess up the gym,have no boundaries ( they will take over your training machine without asking) will train right in the middle of the space where people have to walk by to use an other machine) do not say thank you when you hold doors for them or will walk right pass you when you open the door for yourself or your child. Now that the rent went up, Indiens are moving out and I like my tower more because most non Indiens resident have more similar culture.

Yes I was born and raised in Canada and just moved to Alberta in a small brand new community and it's all Indian culture with all the houses worth anywhere from 1 to 4 million dollars and I'm the minority living and renting a basement Suite LOL. I feel like I'm in India visiting their country as a tourist??‍♀️

Canada Immigration used to be so competitive 16 years ago. The cause of this mass immigration is the current government who granted visa to developing countries knowingly the fees are not affordable still visa was granted for a cheap labor.People move around seeking better quality of life. The charm of Canada was Health Care, Education. sixteen years ago I had seen my immigrants, and student who came to Canada for grad studies. Canada had a strict immigration rules and having permanenet resident was an achievement, dream felt so privilege.

As an Indian, I would like to apologize to the natives. That lady spoke the truth - if you are moving to a new country, you have to adapt and respect their culture so that they can accept you easily. Most people coming to Brampton don't even know how to communicate in English. I would like to share a true story that happened to me. In 2021, I was coming to Canada and I was standing in the boarding pass queue at the airport when a guy asked me how to spell Canada. I was in complete shock. How can you go to Canada as a student when you can't even spell it?

I lived in Canada for 14 years . Thankfully I have finally moved out . I don’t regret my decision I can see a doctor when I need it and the police do their job . I miss the country from time to time since I spent most of my adult life there but I’m better off where I am now . I have a stable job and can afford a place to live.

When I first immigrated to Canada, it seems that government`s filter on who should be moved to here was more selected and moreover, ppl really wanted to absorve and appreciate Canada`s culture whereas now, I see more and more new immigrants imposing their own culture here. It`s been 2 years that I`ve been seen news about cars being robbed, and in small cities, ppl being stabbed until death in the subways where you didn't even thought about this kind of situation here in Canada. I`m paying a lot for too less in life quality.

And also in the end there isn't much consumer protection in the US. Many businesses have quite shady ways of getting your money out there. We feel a lot safer financially in Canada although there are breaches here too sometimes. I believe you need to make a good combined $300,000 depending where you live in order to make a good living in the US but the only reason why I would move really is for the climate although I would move to Mexico before moving to the US because generally speaking, Mexicans are friendlier. Very generally speaking.

I have lived abroad for last 47 years, with god's blessings and grace life has been good, have pension and free medical treatment doctors medicine,i travel to India every year but medical treatment is a scam there and any thing which is simple abroad is complicated in India especially if they know you are living abroad they make it more complicated or scam you especially for medical treatment, traffic in Bombay is terrible, takes hours to move around in cabs , public transport its not possible to travel, so much or garbage around and pollution and the heat and rain its impossible to get out the house starting March until September its terrible luckily September to March can manage in India and its winter time abroad during that time,if it was not for the winter abroad my first choice would be abroad compared to India, people who are used to comfortable life and maids in India can't manage abroad, even I can easily afford a maid when I m in India I do my own house work in India as i do it abroad\nThe millions of Indian who live abroad complain but never coming back for good\nSorry to say indian are the most racist even among themselves caste, religion, State,and 99% of indian are fake and show off much more than their worth

Thank God someone cover this thing. I am Indian Sikh moved here with my parents in 2021 and we are permanent Resident. I am disable so my parents thought it would be a great country in terms of opportunities but you know what I have not get any job because wherever I went for interview, there are so many international students looking for job as well. \nBring a citizen, it’s very heartbreaking that other who don’t have PR , still getting jobs.
