Awesome in addressing the elephant in the room, but this is nothing new in Canada. Over our extensive history of immigration our country has experienced chronic separatism, racism, exclusion and of course, bigotry. The *us-against-them* rhetoric is as old as humanity and not exclusionary to Canada. Having said that, as a proud Canadian here's a Pro-tip for any newbie emigrating to new pastures - anywhere in the world; Learn the new house rules and behave. Feel free to keep your customs, but respect your new home. Nobody is forcing anyone to stay so love it or leave it. Above all else, be respectful, a good human and a good neighbour. If you ever think things were better elsewhere maybe that's where you should be.

Open up alternate education in India. If the students can have jobs in Tim HORTONS similar jobs can be done in India. Whether it is house keeping , service or retail. Same as what most of them are doing in Canada.

The unemployment rate is to high! Fast food and retail have raised their prices while paying less wages. Kids cant get jobs. Im a psw in home care and i lost hours to TFW because of the wage differences. Now I cant pay my bills because of TFW. The companies are pushing Canadians out and keeping wages low. Its not just agricultural and food production. Its being used in all sectors. The government has already identified tons of fraud.

In the last two years you've seen massive increase of immigration from India. Modi keeps winning elections because he kicks non-Hindu out from India. There NEVER was a labour shortage. it was all bullshit media makign noise so it would be attractive to foreigners. They imported millions to keep the wages supressed. The only labour shortage was manufactured. The cost of living went up after hte pandemic and corporations didnt want to increase wages so they lobbied the government to let them import slaves.

Canada is one of the best countries, I agree there are few downfalls, but on the other hand you can’t even in judge a book by just looking at it’s cover. If you are well educated, this country is the best to live in. Canada has already made their immigration policies stern, and are not welcoming everyone now. Do you think Indian politicians are doing good to keep India safe according to their duties? Don’t you think India has a drug problem too? Apply for a visa and come here, you’ll see many people settled, enjoying their life here. People have to face struggles when you move to a new country, it takes time. Canada in one of the most diverse country, go to a school here, they celebrate and acknowledge different cultures and teach about them. I think Indian are well settled and living luxurious life here.

Unfortunately, what you are saying is true. My personal experience with Indians, that are my friends, are educated graduated students that came in years ago, and behaved with manners, now in last 8 yrs we have an INVASION of uneducated, nasty, gang mentality people, that we Canadians DO NOT appreciate at all‼️ If you cannot adapt to our culture, go back to India, and keep your mess there. I’ll tell you this right now we are not rich. Whoever thinks Canada is rich doesn’t know reality of it. Most of the people in the country are broke or going broke. The infrastructure of all kind is no longer able to keep up with the demand and population. We are also paying huge amount of taxes like we are taxed on everything. When you go to ANY COUNTRY on a visa be prepared to for visa related changes (even if you plan to settle n takeup citizenship). No country is OBLIGATED to give PR/ citizenship to visa holders. The government n citizens have the right to change policies to keep their own intrests in mind.

Wow this is the best news I’ve heard in a long time!!!! Now Canadians and our citizens can get educated and use our tax resources for ourselves I hope it keeps at a low.

Indian Middle Class keep having kids and throws them into this competition of 140 Crore people with the only hope that they will clear IIT and/or immigrate to West. The Middle class parents who can't even buy a house for themselves keep bringing kids to India's competition without any thought that they are making their lives and kids lives worse as they have no plans for future. Unless you own your own house and have passive income do not bring little kids to India which off course will never become like Canada or US as what matters is GDP/Capital and not just GDP. So the root cause of India's problems is Over Population and Crowding of Major Cities. 140 crore and growing is the bane of India.

What if their currency looses value?? Currently value of their currency is manipulated by US through currency swaps, just to keep their currency value up artificially, as its a vassal state of US. Value of western currencies will come down dramatically by 2030 along with increasing inflation. After 2030, even a daily wage Indian worker will not prefer to go to canada or UK.?

American and canada are using others resources while they keep thier for future.

What’s wrong with an ageing population? If pensions were not deferred to the following generation we would not be in this growth spiral which obsesses about population growth all the time . My money that I save for my retirement should be MY MONEY. If we keep importing bodies it isn’t helping at all because guess what they get old too - and most of them don’t even contribute!!!! It’s insanity. Why not encourage families to look after their elderly more? Why not work to make people healthier into old age? The Greens should be all over this because the biggest source of CO2 emissions are humans. The more humans the more resources, waste and pollution it’s as simple as that.

The only reason for me to choose Germany is ability to get residence permission in 3 or 5 years and keep original citizenship (I need 5 because I'm pretty sure I will not get C1 for 3 years). In terms of salary (I'm working in IT and have a 18+ years experience) I'd loose about 20% comparing to my original country, but living cost here +100% ))\nSo, we spent with my wife about 18k euros of our savings per year and started everything from scratch - it is hard but possible.\nHope I'll increase my salary later and we will not spend a lot on furnitures, appliences etc.\n+1 benefit: cycling all year round - almost no snow - Perfect!\nI didn't have problems with language in Dusseldorf - 90% speaks english, 10% or even more - russian (shops, banks, tax centers, burgerburo - no problems)

Government in of Canada. Too much immigration is what keeps house prices unaffordable and wages low. There is a lot of gangsterism in the culture which is old and tiring. Im sick of these people (gang guys of any race) shooting up our streets. When people cant afford to feed themselves they look for someone to blame . sadly that boils down to people who look different than themselves for many people.

I don't think we can keep this many newcomers happy. It's overwhelming. I understand how they are drawn to work here, as they can return home after a few years and live extremely well from the exchange. Most Indians earn maybe $10 a day in India. Just a guess.

I have lived in Canada for 50 years, and its important to remember why the TFW (Temp Foreign Workers) were needed in the first place, namely a lot of (wealthy) Fast Food franchise owners were unable to run their businesses due to a shortage of a reliable workforce, the Tim Horton's beside me closed in 2022 due to 100% turnover and poor customer service, and that was the fate of many other franchisees, since White Canadians view the fast food industry as a stepping stone to better jobs, much to the chagrin of millionaire franchisees, and i dont mean that negatively, you have to be rich to buy a franchise licence in the first place, and now they wont even hire White canadians, since they can pay TFWs less than the minimum wage, so it was used as a tool for wage suppression, and the TFWs are viewed as scabs who are helping to keep wages down and that is fueling racism.
