37T in US debt. We’ve been unfairly treated the past 60 years from unfair trades from the world and Trump was the only President to say “enough”. What’s fair when US pays tariffs on goods but we can’t charge other countries. Let’s make trades fair. No more charities to the world paid for by US taxpayers.

The West needs to wake up and come to terms with the fact that Trump is an agent of Putin. There is no other explanation for his behaviour. He is doing everything he can do to damage the West and the USA both economically and militarily. To all intents and purposes the US has been subjected to a Russian sponsored coup straight out of the KGB/FSB playbook. The US Congress and Judiciary, the other two arms of US government, need to step up and follow the constitution’s guidelines and intent to self correct when one arm of the government goes off the rails.

All this bluster about fentanyl, yet China is the main exporter of these precursor substances - well, they only have 20%. Awesome! The biggest risk now is that the trump administration divides and conquers - the free world needs to stand together against the US. Yes, it's strange to say, but that's the reality we live in. The earlier we wake up, the better.

1/2: Myself and the saner half of the US that read, understood, and voted against Proj 2025 understands why they need to levy retaliatory tariffs especially as a Michigander who's lived less than 4 hours from Canada all her life, who has family in Quebec and Ontario, and is a job-seeking policy professional and international trade nerd who now cannot in good faith seek a job in the federal government. We have been looking and still do look to Canada as a model quite a bit and love Canada and Canadians to pieces. We Michiganders especially in the central and eastern UP and Detroit and Ann Arbor area are friends, coworkers, and family of Canadians. Some are even dual citizens. It is sad that it's come to this. \n\n2/2: I still personally just can't wrap my head around how a trade deal Trump put together himself and called the best (the USMCA in question) is all of a sudden so bad. Logic doesn't work with these types of people... Trump succeeded in getting Canada and Mexico to protect the US border, something the US couldn't do for decades. Claiming that drugs were flooding into the US from Canada is another Trump lie that the media promotes constantly. Trump is a dangerous fool, thinking he will buddy up with Russia and come out ahead. As a US veteran, I have no idea why trump is making these ridiculous decisions. Being an American I am behind Canada and feel these Tariffs are uncalled for and will do nothing to help our ever growing Inflation! It is Trump, and the problem is the rest of our Government (Congress and Judiciary) are spineless and won't stand against him. Trump is not doing anything for us but HURT us. We *all* need to wake up that the US has, plain and simply, become a completely unreliable partner. With allies like these, nobody needs enemies. Hopefully Europe, Canada, Mexico and Ukraine can somehow band together to stand against this nonsense, because bowing to the trump administration will only embolden them to demand even more and blackmail each of us individually into submission. Yes, it'll be tough - but always think of what Ukraine has gone through, it's an easy stand for us.

But of the 244m eligible US voters, 77m voted for Trump to appease Putin and sell out their friends; 88m couldn't be bothered to vote at all. Trudeau is so right that the US fighting with its allies is exactly what the enemies of the US wants. The Russians are celebrating after Trump's attack on Zelensky and now Canada, Mexico and Europe.
