How about we stop. Deal with everything first. catch up and then let more people in and people who provide what we need as a country.

Canada's leadership is lazy mentally , too conservative and close minded. What is the big deal about building more houses and creating more jobs.? If the USA can do it their narrow-minded leadership can do it too.
| 2024-08-12 | 0 |
I wholeheartedly agree that we need to deal with the people in Canada before bringing in more.

They are culturally very different from secularised Europe and they are problem and even dangerous in the numbers they are coming.\nEnough is enough.\nTheir own countries will have to deal with their own people.\nI DO NOT CARE

Literally why I will never rent out my property. My parents had to deal with this too and were always taken advantage of.\n\nHousing crisis or nor, people like these tenants need to be shamed

It is a global issue. I’m for legal immigration of all levels but the US cannot manage these astronomical numbers. It’s a huge unbalanced burden in inner cities where locals need help but don’t get what just illegally crossing gets you and your kids. It’s taking from the already have nots. It’s easy for elites to theorize but tone deaf to those dealing with it. It’s all about balance so everyone benefits. Currently the Mexican cartels are the only winners.

This is the reason why I don’t rent to Canadians. I have so many horror stories like these. Being an owner myself, I work 7 days a week with no rest days. And try to create something for ourselves. And mostly Canadian tenants try to abuse the system. It’s so difficult and don’t want to deal with this, so am scared to death to give to rent to anyone.
| 2024-08-11 | 0 |
The Landlord and Tennant board is completely useless. \nIt’s time for a serious update to the rental laws in Ontario.\nThe biggest problem is that these freeloading dead beets know how to game the system and know every trick in the book to prolong the eviction process for years.\nI’ve had so many clients lose vast sums of money dealing with this nonsense.\nSo glad I sold my last rental property so that I don’t have to deal with this insanity.

But wait a minute !!! 1 million immigrants in a country as big as China and you guys are complaining. The whole population of Canada fits in 1 or 2cbig tier 1 cities in China , so their cities hv to deal with 1 million migration on a regular basis and accomodate for those changes. Wht is it do hard for Canada to handle 1 million immigrants ? That should be taken into consideration as a shortage of labor is alwaysban issue facing Canada at some point.

This is happening almost everywhere in the West. I don't have as much of an issue with immigrants as I do with consistently bad leaders who will not deal with the issues.

Why is housing such a big deal? Every city in the world has homeless people. Canada Universities are selling courses to students all over the world giving false promises.
| 2024-08-11 | 0 |
Scapegoating immigrants for the fact that there are not enough homes. Deal with the problem directly! Get politicians to BUILD MORE HOMES AND CHANGE INFRASTRUCTURE. Slow down immigration. But Don’t scapegoat the people that are already here.
| 2024-08-11 | 0 |
Its no big deal
| 2024-08-10 | 0 |
I'm okay with it. Is it really that big a deal?
| 2024-08-10 | 0 |
Governments all around the world are falling badly to meet with their citizens needs… it’s getting out of hand and now people have to deal with mass migration… it’s already bad enough!!
| 2024-08-10 | 0 |
This has always been the deal with immigration. A Canadian citizen of British roots will come to you in 2024 complaining about immigration that made his life miserable.. forgetting that his ancestors were immigrants themselves 200 yrs ago. Did you know that the citizenship book (called: discover Canada) clearly says that thousands of indigenous and Aboriginal people died of foreign diseases brought by British/French first settlers coming from Europe.\nIf you are British complaining about immigration in the UK, this is something I'll sure understand cause the UK is your land.\nBut if you are American, Canadian, or Australian.. shut the F up and don't talk about immigration.. unless you are Aboriginal or first nations.

Come to California and see how we’re dealing here with this madness ?

Second thoughts.\n\nThe young lady is cute. Maybe should would accept a deal to work her debt off?\n\n???

A tenant of mine - a social worker - shifted a homeless man into an empty apartment in my house without asking for a permit. I offered him to shelter the homeless man as a guest within his rented apartment, yet this he did not want. Typical socialist: placing the rotten egg in the nest of others to deal with. I told him, if he does this again, then eviction time comes.\n\nThere is a way to get the above lady out. No, I am not talking about hitmen from the dark web. What I mean is, get the government agencies involved by claiming she endangers hygienic conditions within the building. There is always some evidence for that, if not then be creative and shift the blame.

If there is not enough housing, just build more. What's the big deal? I simply don't understand.

This is disgraceful. The Ontario government should be ashamed. Instead of spending $250M on a beer store deal, why not put that into capacity at the LTB?!? It amazes me how we vote for these clowns who don’t understand capital allocation
| 2024-08-09 | 0 |
Start using force to defend our boarders .... I'm tired of my taxes and time going to dealing with this rather than shit that actually matters like family and the potholes that are old enough to vote around my town

$41.6K over 4 years= about $866/month in rent. That woman is getting a great deal and is still abusing the poor man...
| 2024-08-09 | 0 |
Sad part is Jagmeet Singh is pushing for MORE tentant rights to make this even more difficult. I'm dealing with similar situation, massive repairs stiffed on rent, thankfully it's not Ontario or BC. If they ever go to buy a house now they will have outstanding court order against them.

?????Wake up and see who you’re really dealing with

Hmm.. i would not talk if i was him .... they came here and add lots of deal .

I'm a Canadian citizen. And I think it's the time when Canadian & US governments must think to build a border wall on the Northern border. I hate these illegal Aliens sneaking in Canada & then in the US. Offcours these illegal immigrants are being a reason for damaging the local labor market wages. And are continuous burden on Both countries economy & tax payers. I see our governments look extremely helpless in dealing with this growing issue. I wish Donald Trump would become the US next president. No doubt he will adapt to the serious measures to stop these illegal buggers.

Deal with the problem outside of the law. Make her afraid to stay.
| 2024-08-09 | 0 |
If the law doesnt work you have to pay the gangsters to step in and deal with them.
| 2024-08-09 | 0 |
This is unacceptable. Tenants need to pay. Landlord deal with unexpected rate increases or tax increases yet can't get a tenant out that doesn't pay. This will only drive investors our of the market making the situation worse.
| 2024-08-08 | 0 |
If she have to pay back for four years, she was getting a really good deal! I know a landlord that owned $33,000 for just one year.

Do such issues occur for apartment rentals managed by property management companies? Is it better to hire such companies so that we do not have to deal with tenants directly by giving them commissions?
| 2024-08-08 | 3 |
There’s a certain color of people you shouldn’t deal with especially in financial matters
| 2024-08-08 | 1 |
When you own a home and are renting it out. You are fully responsible for the housing of the tenant. This is the rule in Canada. You want to take on the task of being a landlord then this is what you got to deal with. The rent amount must be so ridiculous that this poor girl can't afford it. ?

This government is completely disconnected with reality. They are causing the problems we have right now. The petty crime rate is growing like crazy where I live. I am an immigrant from Brazil. I am having to deal with issues that I had back there which was unthinkable before this crazy immigration rate. Also the majority of immigration is from one or two countries. How does that improve diversity? We are creating ghettos and all the problems associated to it. We bring so many people from the same culture that it is becoming our culture. Very soon, we will have to adapt. This is crazy and irresponsible. The problem is not immigration, is the way we are doing immigration under JT.

The west was been centuries exploiting natural resources, harassing natives, making deals with the devils and robber barons then when people from those nations seek refuge because their homeland is unlivable thanks to capitalism and proxy wars.\nThey want to act shocked that there's an influx of migrants looking for a new home after theirs is pretty much void of biodiversity, food and political stability.
| 2024-08-07 | 0 |
Perhaps if we werent all complacent in causing instability everywhere, we wouldn't have to deal with influx of people fleeing their homes. The amount of immigrants flowing in is too much to handle for most countries. Especially when you have an already strained housing availability. All resources are strained. And the migrants don't get a fair chance at assimilation. It is a lose lose situation.

Canada has a serious problem dealing with a large influx of migrants coming from India. I am American who just traveled to Toronto last week and noticed Indians are everywhere, literally everywhere. It makes me wonder why so I looked into some statistics which showed the number of immigrants coming into Canada from India is equivalent to the number of immigrants coming from many other countries combined. Immigration itself is fine but why importing so many people from one particular country India - this is the question Canadian citizens should ask their government
| 2024-08-07 | 0 |
It’ll be sorted out in a few months. But unfortunately it’s a lot harder to deal w/after the fact as opposed to being in front of it.
| 2024-08-07 | 0 |
I would bet families are only 10% of the illegals. Most are young, single men. IF they can't work they will probably commit crimes but DEMS invited them here so they can deal with it!

And when israel fighting exactly againts that extreme ideology,Britain have a lot to say and to condemn.whw wake up israel is fighting in the back line so the front line will not have to deal with.
| 2024-08-07 | 0 |
well let's talk about how Canada took in so many persons from India. The answer is Trudeau. There had to be some back door deal between India and Canada for the sake of business.\nTrudeau is a traitor. The same problem here in Kingston. Canadians must speak up now.

2:35, like in the case of David the immigrant from Ukraine, if they (Ukraine) had made a deal with Russia then he wouldn't had to flee his country. The wealthy countries have to find a way to fix the countries they come from so they don't have to flee

What the heck send Kamala Harris down there let her deal with it
| 2024-08-06 | 0 |
you're missing a very important point: we have the most incompetent leader up north, no freaking chance something happens to deal with the problem
| 2024-08-06 | 0 |
As well as housing, Canada doesn't have the enough doctors or hospitals and staff to deal with more population. Our health care is in crisis.

Good luck from Texas. We have been dealing with this for years. Nobody cared what Texas was dealing with until they finally had to deal with it. Sorry you're dealing with it, but Texas shouldn't have to deal with this alone. People need to feel this. It shouldn't just be us. This is waking people up with what's been going on.
| 2024-08-06 | 0 |
Wow ? sounds like a great ?? deal: on American taxpayers backs of course

Trudeau really messed things up, and he still doesn't seem to realize it, or have a good plan to deal with things.
