Man I can't believe things are always getting out of hand. Everyday every week it's always getting out of hand. Someone told me the other day, the homeless people in traffic asking for money are getting out of hand. Even though there's been tent cities for at least 8 years now. Seems like it's going to be getting out of hand for years and years and will never actually be bad. ?

As an Indian student, i would like to share with you my perspective \n1) you will never see me dancing in public, blasting music and littering \n\nI actually spend my sundays cleaning plastic from trails \n\n2) i am a full time student for 4 years funding over 90 grand for a bachelor on top of that paying my taxes and paying 1100$ a month for rent being limited to 24 hours a week I do not work outside campus I work the job the college provided to me \n\nThe problem comes up when people use the 1 year and 6 month diploma program to enter the country and work here full time \n\nThey associate themselves only with indians mainly because they cant speak the English language fluently \nTherefore they associate with the exact people they associated with back home \n\nHow will they adapt to a new country if they hang out with the same people \n\n\nI came to canada with a goal \n\nTo make Canadian friends \nLearn about Canadian culture \nStart a new life \nAnd work my ass off to get my degree \n\n\nMost people move here to make more money \n\nThey sell their land and do so \n\nPlease do not associate hard working indians who adapt and leave their past behind with these people who have come here purely to exploit the system\n\n\nTrust me I know it's hard to hear this but good Indians do exist. A tenant of mine - a social worker - shifted a homeless man into an empty apartment in my house without asking for a permit. I offered him to shelter the homeless man as a guest within his rented apartment, yet this he did not want. Typical socialist: placing the rotten egg in the nest of others to deal with. I told him, if he does this again, then eviction time comes.\n\nThere is a way to get the above lady out. No, I am not talking about hitmen from the dark web. What I mean is, get the government agencies involved by claiming she endangers hygienic conditions within the building. There is always some evidence for that, if not then be creative and shift the blame.

Its very difficult for the West to stop the gerocide of the Palestinian people by Israelis. To stop Israeli britality is an impossible ask. I get that there is a huge problem in Canada with immigration but this interviewer asks too many leading yes/no questions. Can't really get a clear sense of what the interviewees actually feel and have experienced as opposed to what the interviewer wants to hear.

Because I live in Atlanta and my son is homeless in Charlotte and he was homeless in Atlanta and all I see are homeless people lying all over the streets! i just asked a.i why construction costs are through the roof and one of three reasons is increased fuel costs ... and shortage of construction workers ... the real problem is the supply and demand ... if you don't agree people should think about what happens when not enough people are buying something at the retail stores - the thing will go on sale. Just like the USA once funded Al-Qaeda, the Taliban, etc. to hurt Russia. \nMeanwhile, Canada started using those criminals as a Vote bank. And what do these folks do? They form gangs, of course! Gangs need people, so they started inviting or smuggling people from India. Most of those people are just criminals or the lowest of the low. \nWhen those Khalisthani creating problem for India, Canada and the USA support them. \nDrugs, smuggling, trafficking, and violence are the only things these Khalisthani have learned. \nUntil USA, Canada stop supporting Khalisthani movement both Canda and India will suffer from these people.

Well my house to taken over by convicts and out of compassion me and my wife gave them our house, as we didn’t know how absurd the laws are to evict a bad tenant.\n\nI being helpless called police and email PM helpline , housing minister, but nothing happened till 4 months, they destroyed my property, and still owe me 14k rent plus utilities, excluding the damages and property mess they created. \n\nWe were terrified , they had two big rescues dogs and would threat us if we come to ask for house check or rent , they would release the dogs on us. \n\nI still have tenant body order for money claim, but my family suggested to leave and move on . But then i think , they would do the same with what ever place they try to move.\n\nWhy would government not spare out property tax or give the home owner the loss of property amount. \n\nYou miss the tax the government pr bank come after you with all the forces. \n\nIts like the house crises , the government want to say , let the stupid home owners eradicate that issue and them let they suffer from the bad tenants abuse the so called tenant laws. \n\nI know my family had to go through.

For me. If you are going to be a landlord. The unit you have must be already paid, if its mortgage dont be a landlord. Because if its already fully paid, whatever happens at the end of the day its still your unit, and the landlord can still sell it the future for the higher price. I am still in favor of the law for the tenant, because this landlords, they tend to put higher price whenever they want, specially those under the table, what ever the trend they can increase the price, or depends on their mortgage interest. It happens to us before, our rent is 800, then next year they are asking for 1,100. So we just moved out, then they rent the place for 1200 for the next renter, now we rent in a legit apartment who follows the percentage each year of rent increase, so we pay on time.

And some might ask why people get stabbed.

If it’s taken four years, the landlord was doing something wrong. The LTB doesn’t take four years to evict. The reporter should have been asking more questions and reporting more details.

My god how lucky am I? Tenant always paid rent on time and moved out when I asked them to.

I’m a landlord been one for 10 years. Your screening and vetting process has to be A1 and don’t be so hungry for the down payment. Interview and ask the tenant many questions before the get the keys. I’m a firm believer though people know which landlord to do this to. Can’t show no sign of weakness.

Please add to this the many homeless healthcare workers who have great educations and are not paid the best and are told to wait for housing because there are more people coming to the country and the homeless healthcare workers are the ones who are taking care of the newcomers who are housed while the healthcare workers are asked to wait - some are even MD's who are waiting in their country of birth because they are self-employed and have to pay overhead , staff and medical equipment and supplies. Please let's house our homeless healthcare workers in all the major cities.

They will get stopped at the border and be asked for documents to enter- I’m not understanding the bus schemes you are talking about! Generally if you cross the territory of another country none can stop you from using the transportation available in that country the drivers are not in the wrong here and are not obligated to check the passengers for a visa. I know so many people who would love to rent out their basements.....but wont . If the government brought in a 1 month eviction law , no questions asked...a huge amount of spaces would open up for tenants....huge.

When I think about my time in Canada, it's bittersweet. I moved there for my undergraduate studies and spent 5 great years soaking up the Canadian culture. After graduating from McGill University, I had a tough time finding a job. Fortunately, I had the support of my boyfriend and didn't struggle with housing, especially in more affordable Montreal.\n\nWe moved to Australia a few months ago, and wow, what a change!
