I understand and agree with you. Everything here is expensive with high taxes that go up just about every year. Europe is much cheaper and there are many countries that are a lot safer. I understand how you feel as Muslims and I have nothing against other religions. You don’t have your calls to and I as a Christian I don’t have the church bells which happen to also be a call to prayer. If I was not 70 years old I would leave. I am not Canadian but I am a citizen, my husband, however, is Canadian, so we stay because leaving would be extremely difficult. You are correct about the government and the ‘woke’ ideology in schools and everywhere we turn it seems which we also do not agree with. The matter is more about making sure that Canadians who wants to go to post-high-school degrees shouldn't have to be drowned in debts in order to get the career of their dream. Foreign students are a good thing but not in a context where only the rich and privileged can go to university unless getting drowned in debts.

Good luck trying to convince entiled canadian kids to go to college at the rate international students do. The real issue is that Canadian kids are not interested in attending higher educational institutions as they once were in the past

You have very good thoughts, ideas and remarkable iman, but a warning to you that you will be EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED when the true reality of the world, especially the Muslim countries hit you. Your experience just might be different then what you are imagining other countries to be like and the life style you are imagining they will offer to you. Canada is heaven compared to the hypocrisy, lack of religious values and lost culture that is out there. But then life is a test, and everyone has a different test that they must go thru.

many new immigrants who rushed in thinking canada was some honeypot are now leaving for good which is the most compelling reason why canada is not a destination to immigrate! unlike US there are no mechanisms in place for new immigrants to succeed with higher costs, unaffordable housing and taxes jobs are difficult to find and on top it to adjust as new migrants it’s very difficult so yes the canadian dream is very much over for most immigrants, international students can go anywhere for education it’s not a canadian specialty as such but most students came to canada because it allows them to do work after graduation but other countries are also catching up with attractive schemes to attract these students so it does look like lesser students are expected in canada from now on…

The example used should have been somewhere like Conestoga, which has become an absolute diploma-mill, basically selling residency. The impact on local communities has been ridiculous and many of those students are competing for local working class jobs. Remove the residency ability and the number of students will collapse, that is what is needed. If the institutions can't prove that they can house the students they should not be allowed to bring them in. If some of these diploma-mills go bust, good. We should be putting a break on immigration anyway, to give Canada a break to integrate the millions and millions that have come in in the past two decades.

Lots of useless colleges. The security guards in my condo are studying logistics. Some work for Amazon delivery. Others are flipping pizzas. And if you go to the grocery stores at certain times, they are pulling goods. Dollarama has lots sorting goods (they say this is a Canadian company).

If home prices drop because there is more homes being built that gives everyone an advantage. I don't even know what percentage of people own 100% of their home but I don't think it's that many, and that's going to drop significantly as well. I know there's tons of studies done yearly on the effects of stability on children and mental health, good grades, good health. All these things generally improve with safety and stability and it's consistent. If you are someone who can actually afford to buy your own house, you could just buy a cheaper house and invest the rest in something else. It's actually better to have diversity than to sit there hoping no one builds houses so you can maintain some high value property. And this likely will lead to a collapse as well. It's unavoidable in the long term

12 yrs in Canada and I felt my body aged so much... went to Mexico for vacation and I feel healthy eating good food and not frozen. I'm thinking of going back to my home country Philippines. The food, weather and lifestyle in Canada is making me sick. Not forget the crime rate too... :(

The Government can give expats the below::\n1 Student visa\n2 Work permit(temporary or permanent, so they can work here and build their country of origin )The salary for expats will be different from the salary of locals. \n3 PR.\n4 Instead of citizenship (golden visa will be good, where they get the same benefits as citizen, but cannot vote). If they like it here, they can live or travel to any 150 countries(without a need of visit visa)or go back to their country.

People who migrate from countries like Pakistan/India to western countries like US tend to follow their culture more than the people in their respective countries. Take a look at youtube videos from Pakistan and notice what % of women wear traditional head gear. The percentage comes down drastically in the case of educated/middle class people. Same goes for Indian people in US. Almost everyone teaches their daughter traditional dances from India. If you were to go to India, hardly anyone teaches their daughters these dances. Hardly 1 to 5% people whereas its kind of close to 80% or even higher in US. They think they are missing out on the culture and overdo it in western countries. What's wrong with United Arab Emirates. I heard they have a good economy. The only drawbacks: I think you need to have a fair amount of capital before they will accept you. And the cost of living is rather high. If I could speak Arabic that country along with Saudi Arabia and Kuwait would be one of my possible choices. The problem with Canada today is that the leaders are all completely inept, incompetent, and corrupt. I guess they think that Socialism is the way to go.

Honestly Toronto is still a lot better than Vancouver because honestly even in a good neighborhood you are scared to walk down the street and even go for a walk because you don't know if the person walking past you is going to pull out a knife like it's that scary here. We have a lot of Alberta, Ontario and Quebec's homeless population here and that means we have a lot of Alberta Quebec and Ontario's mentally ill population. So many of the homeless I speak to have moved here for the warmer weather even though it's frigid as heck today but that's why they moved here just for a warmer place to be homeless. We are also a port city and have a wicked problem with drug addiction.

Am sure if a westerner moves to the country of your interest..they will have the same reasons to leave that country as you…so guys you are free to go anywhere you want..so please don’t give it a religious reason to leave..will any of the Islamic countries allow Christians to build a church there ?? Of course not..but Canada does..coz it’s a multicultural country and it respects all!! \n\nof course you are free to voice your concerns!! Good luck !

Funny thing, Halifax is bursting at the seams with new arrivals. It’s expected to double in size in the next decade. There’s another ethnic grocery store opening every week. Our population has grown by 10 million people in 20 years, largely due to immigration. Toronto is bursting at the seams and is the most polyglot city on the planet. I have noticed a lot of these whiny videos by immigrants who say it’s no good to move here. I think they are not telling the truth about the tsunami of immigration going on here in Canada right now. Trouble is, there’s not enough housing for the 40 million people here right now. There’s not enough doctors, nurses, hospitals, social services/workers to service our present population. Still, the government flaps its gums about wanting 100 million people here by 2100. If that’s true, southern Ontario will look like Tokyo. There has to be a reevaluation of putting the majority of new arrivals in the GTA. If people want to move here, they should be willing to go to smaller cities and towns across the country.

I whole city shut down it looked like a ghost town. That was a for sure indication it was time for immigrants to return to their home countries.\nThat was the time when the city was offering to buy out old businesses alot of people took the money and went back to Portugal and Italy.\nTimes have changed\nIt's not a housing crisis that's a lie.\nI grew up in Canada they built thousands and thousands of houses out of factories people just started to like the homes and communities the city built.\nPlus is was foreigners from the middle east that were investing in condo developments.\nAccept the fact that families are raising their children in those homes for 25++.\nThey don't owe an immigrant the house they built.\nOf course it's expensive because it's not for you.

Canada is a country that is built on middle class where a large part of the population are within the same earning range. There are positives to this, less crime, there is not a huge disparity between rich and poor which makes for a more sane environment don’t get me wrong, we still have our crime rate. Now you can see that the professional programs are limited compared to other countries in the universities and highly competitive so that you don’t have so many professionals with high earning power thereby creating a huge disparity. On the other hand, these high earners don’t get a tax return, get any govt cheque, their kids don’t get huge amounts for OSAP instead, they get billed to pay back the govt and that’s how those of you complaining now where able to get govt cheques when you just relocated, support low income homes and newly landed immigrants. There’s free health, good Ammenities, snow is cleared, the roads are salted and de iced, free Education, govt loans and school loans that’s where your tax money goes to. Everyone has an accent that’s your identity why will you feel somehow or intimidated when you are told you have an accent that’s being timid say yes I have an accent it’s African or Caribbean etc. About racism it’s rare never experienced it that’s not saying it doesn’t happen but am gonna call you out if it’s obvious I have been profiled. Yes the weather is harsh did you not look at your map before relocating ?? In all most of these complaints are individual experiences so I won’t invalidate it but don’t trash what you gained from. Retraining and certification is a must especially when you are coming from a certain country and it’s not a bad idea. Am in healthcare and retraining is a must if you didn’t school here cos it’s entirely different talk about work ethics, equipments, software, differentiation in policies, health laws and malpractice laws.\nLook at the brighter side of life and stop complaining migration has its pros and cons position yourself in a place to have a good life, go back to school, get certified, keep retraining and adding value to your certificate.

I'm not trying to minimize the issues that Toronto clearly has, but this same scenario is playing out in cities around much of the planet currently. It's only going to get worse, everywhere, from here. Climate change alone will ensure that. Hey, good luck to you Alina, but please don't ever make the mistake of relocating to the USA. We are in freefall everywhere here, a country that is cracking up before our very eyes.

Hey these are my last 15 days in Canada I have everything here good job but we are moving back for my son. Here zero social life for immigrants unless u have your relatives here already. Mg son goes to school for 4 hours and rest of the day we try to keep him busy in activities at home but we are humans too , not everyday we can keep him busy all the time away from I pad TV. I am frustrated seeing him like this. We are here since 2022 he was 2 years old now he is 3+. He has not a single interaction with other child in our apartment… just school time is interacting time for him with other kids .. as a mother I am depressed and taken decision to go back to my home … now I can see him playing outside and interacting with people…. No restriction nothing… We have prioritised his physical health so coming back.. and yes u are right car is must..

Many countries are moving more and more to the far right and with that comes alot of corruption and abuses of human rights. Just be wary of the grass is greener on the other side mentality. I’m qualified Eastern European that was invited for a job in Switzerland. The high cost of living matches the high quality of life, which makes it worthwhile. From what I hear - it’s not exactly the same in Canada. It used to be considered a very desirable destination about a decade ago. \n\nIt’s sad to see Canada going in that direction. They will likely lose a lot of good people. :-(

Im a Canadian citizen and I live in Canada for more than 30 years the problem in this country is the government system is not good this is a kind of communist system and it will get worse if the system in Canada is not changed and the thing about having Canadian experience this is a crap and this is a stupidity. People from Canada which they are born there and they have business there they have to allow people and to receive people with their work experience and they shouldn't discriminate other people this is a their mentality and needs to be changed. It used to be good in Canada.Now it's authoritarian.People can't afford food or homes.Many can't access healthcare and when they do it's subpar.They freeze bank accounts and jail the peaceful protestors.The media is bought by and controlled by Trudeau.They are flooding us with refugees.Which I wouldn't mind if they had enough actual resources to go to everyone but they don't so citizens and refugees suffer.They do a price on pollution on citizens causing food ,gas,home price and rent inflation while they jet set in their private jets and take money in corrupt ways from taxpayers and use it to enrich themselves.They legalize hard drugs so kids are dying in the streets.If a man in a dress comes into bathroom with my daughter I get in trouble for being uncomfortable and so does my daughter.If we were scared to get vaxed we were shunned from society,barred from public transport and stores.We lost our jobs.We to vote them out and they got back in with minority and they made backroom deal with far left party to block opposition and have full power nobody agreed to.They block calling an election to get them out.When all this misery becomes too much they offer medical assistance in dying to anyone who asks and have even offered to those who didnt ask.So ya Canada sucks

I have been in US for 20 years and can understand the experience that you are sharing. Frankly, countries like US and Canada are not for people who can’t do some basic things on their own. \nPeople leave their families and comfort of their home and come to these countries either to earn money, eventually have a good quality life or to provide a good quality education for their kids. If you don’t have a reason good enough to make that move and keep the option of running back home on facing little hardship then there is no way you can live in these countries. Forget about going and living in other countries you can’t even go and live in another state within India. Do you think it’s easy for a North Indian to go and live in South (or vice versa) where they encounter language and culture barriers? \nYou were in much much better situation as you already had PR and didn’t have to go through stress of handling uncertainty on your visa situation based on job.\nTrust me it takes few years for you to get adjusted to new environment, culture, people, food etc. But, as you spend more and more time in these countries you get more accustomed to way of living here and then you become so comfortable with it that you don’t want to go back at all.\nDon’t want to judge anyone but I guess in your case at your age with family already settled in India you didn’t have a solid enough reason to get out of your comfort zone and give time to get used to such big transition in your life

I am very happy that people who dont like Canada are deciding to go back to India, its good for us immigrants who are able to live in peace because we are ready to go through struggle and we like the country. Couple of years ago, people were randomly and blindly coming to Canada without knowing ANYTHING about the country and unfortunately everything was crowded.

If they refuse that terms we should not go there but continue go to Europe. In 20 short years we take whole Europe and marry all the western womans.
