We are headed for a higher inflation again if this is implemented. How about immigration reform instead? How about work permits? How about paths to citizenship? We need the workers. Our legislators should do their job and come up with immigration reform rather than spend billions rounding up people and hamstringing our economy in the process. Maybe this move along with tariffs will help Americans realize that electing Trump was a mistake.

I think investment should be in a think tank to train Americans to be better and for us to produce superior technology in every area. Tariffs and other stuff to give people an advantage is not going to put us ahead. Competition is good because it forces one to have to get better.
